There are a lot of stairs if you must do tests upstairs but there are also elevators too. I had a good experience except for being cold. I recommend this clinic keeping warm blankets it helps a lot. But in the meantime I recommend you taking along a favorite small blanket.

I called to ask if they would provide a good faith estimate and she said no! Which is illegal under the No Surprises Act. I asked if she could respond to my questions on cost in an email so I could have it in writing and she gave me a fake email to send the questions to! I know it was fake because there was a kick back that said it didn't exist. And yes I had read the email back to her before I had hung up. Seeing the other review on here where they were surprised by an $8,000 charge explains why they refused to put anything in writing. Just want folks to be cautious, going bankrupted for medical care isn't cool. UPDATE- I emailed the email address on your website, so no confusion there. Lexi said they didn't receive it and then gave me an email: lexi.pacificendo@gmail.com, which was not real. I simply asked for the prices I was given over the phone to also be sent via email since they are not in the paper work. I'm not sure why that wouldn't be possible.

The main reason I suggest being a local is because if you need to get ahold of anyone in the office, you'll need to just go there in person. I wouldn't suggest calling unless you have some sort of fetish of sitting on hold for eternity. Once you get there they are very helpful....... Now that you have your appointment and your ready to get seen next month, you are on your way to feeling great again. NOW... don't think for one second that you got to bypass the on hold thing just because you live in town. Once you get to your appointment next month and you have a seat in this very spacious waiting room, take a look around. You will notice there will be 1 maybe 2 people ahead of you, at this moment you think to yourself ( this will be quick) lol. This is the point where you will get to wait somewhere between 1-1 1/2 hours till someone brings you to the examination room, but don't worry the fun doesn't stop there. Once in the room you will get to wait at least another 30 to 45min. If you need to get some shopping done or feel like going to a nice sit down restaurant while you wait, just run up stairs check in and go do your thing, you will have plenty of time

After years of struggling with melasma and dark spots caused by sun exposure and pregnancy, I feel…read moreincredibly grateful to finally have found a dermatologist I truly trust -- Dr. McLain at Peninsula Dermatology. Before seeing Dr. McLain, my journey with melasma was frustrating and emotionally exhausting. Years ago, I learned how complex and difficult melasma can be to treat, especially for deeper skin tones. After moving to Washington, I visited a med spa where I was confidently told that Moxie laser treatments would improve my pigmentation. Unfortunately, after two sessions, the heat from the laser worsened my melasma, leaving my skin darker and more damaged than before. By the time I found Dr. McLain, I had become extremely cautious and fearful about pursuing further treatment. I waited six months for my appointment, and from the very first visit, I knew I was finally in the right hands. Dr. McLain combines exceptional knowledge with genuine compassion. Every appointment has been thoughtful, thorough, and never rushed. Despite his demanding schedule, he always takes the time to explain every detail, answer every question, and make sure I fully understand both the benefits and the risks of treatment options. That level of care is rare. What moved me most was his willingness to prioritize my safety and long-term results over convenience or production. Before considering Fraxel laser treatment, he offered to do a test spot on my skin first -- simply to ensure that my skin tone would respond safely and appropriately. As someone in healthcare myself, I understand that this is not something providers are obligated to do, especially when it adds extra time without benefit to them. Yet he still went above and beyond because he genuinely cared about doing what was best for me. The oral treatment plan he created has already helped my skin tremendously, but more than that, he restored my confidence and trust after a very discouraging experience. I truly appreciate not only Dr. McLain's expertise, but also the integrity, patience, and humanity he brings to patient care. I sincerely wish more healthcare providers approached patients with the same level of thoughtfulness and compassion. Patients remember that, and it makes all the difference.
