It all started out just to see what our house would go for. Ryan contacted me and came out to chat…read moreand get things started for us. He said his company already knew a guy that was interested in our house before it ever went any further. I asked the very first day what percentage he gets from it and that we are not a family that has money. Everything that we made was going into moving to another state. He stated that it was 5%. 2.5 for him and 2.5 to his company. I said that's over $20,000, that's a lot. He further stated that it is always negotiable. He made it all sound good. He was very nice. As things went further, it was almost impossible to get ahold of him. He would never answer his phone. My family was stressing out and needed questions answered and he just wasn't there. We ended having some money problems and asked him about that 5% and how he said it was negotiable. He displayed no empathy but stated that he would ask his boss and that she probably wouldn't go lower than 4% and that he'll get back to me. He called me back a little while later and said no. That's it. Just a "no". This is $20,600 they got from us without doing any work. It wasn't posted and shown to a bunch of people. It went across their desk that we wanted to sell and they already knew exactly who wanted it. Easy money. I expressed to Ryan that I was disappointed and that I feel our best interest was not in his mind. He apologized but it very obviously not sincere. On our last day he showed up and saw how stressed we were, with a uhaul filled top to bottom and side to side. I explained multiple times that there was going to be some things left behind and if that was okay. It was clear we didn't have room. He said it was no problem whatsoever and that he would just bring his truck over or even a trailer if needed, after we left. That made us feel so much better. Took away some of that stress. The next day as we're about 4 hrs down the road to Colorado he texts me a picture of the trailer at the house, rudely stating that is was more than two empty boxes. Then, he texts the realtor from Colorado the same thing. What was that supposed to do, other than to be spiteful? Is that how a company with such a big name acts? As far as I'm concerned, Ryan earned $100 from putting stuff in a trailer and not a cent from being our realtor. He would tell me that his phone was on "do not disturb" and didn't know how it happened then tell my wife he was on a road trip. Everything about that experience was horrible and I'm sure he was praised by his team on making that money that quick. Disgusting, fake, unprofessional and has a lot to learn about customer service. It was obvious what I was saying went in one ear and out the other and that ended up with us being the bad guys. It's a shame. Being a realtor doesn't put you above anybody else.

When confronted Andy Johnson of coldwell agreed to cover the costs of rehanging the doors, and replacing a rotted door frame that caused a carpet to get moldy. We are the cost of the new carpet 1400$ , while Andy agreed to cover the doors, when the quote from Andy's recommended contractor exceeded his expectations Andy revoked his agreement leaving us high and dry with the costs. I will add by representing both sides they took in 6% of over 300k. Or 18,000 dollars in commission. We are a disabled veteran family and the condition the house was left in has caused us hardship and stress. Thank you Andy and Coldwell banker for such an honest experience. I will be sure to buy my houses and recommend my friends and family to some one else in town. I've heard TR hunter is decent.

I believe the customer should feel welcome in any space related to a major financial purchase. When I dropped off the earnest money for my potential real-estate purchase, my initial impression at the First American Title in Florence Oregon felt unprofessional and guarded. I chose First American Title in Florence Oregon because of the positive experience I had with First Amerian Title in Eugene Oregon. I was surprised when First American Title mailed the transmittal paperwork to my PO BOX with the expectation to mail it back at my expense. In the past, I met with the title company officers or agreed to DocuSign. I regret choosing your office in Florence Oregon. I refuse to sign the papers and pay the postage and mail them back. I'll lose the purchase and earnest money. I can save the earnest money in one month, it won't be a major financial loss, but I refuse to sign the papers and have any association with your office in Florence Oregon. If an attempt had been made to contact me and resolve this beforehand, you would not be receiving this email. Good day.
