I was lucky enough to play TPC Summerlin where a PGA tour event is held annually. My friend has a contact with a member who hosted us to play. The price is very reasonable vs RBC Heritage in Hilton Head that I played last year. That course also hosts a PGA tour event, but costs nearly 3x as much as TPC Summerlin. The course is a challenging course that requires strategy on the tee shot. You have to aim at certain landmarks like bunkers and trees in the distance to set up your next shot. In addition, you can't just hit driver off the tee on every par 4 and 5 vs most courses. You have to be able to hit shorter clubs like a 3 wood and 5 wood. Lastly, the greens are fast, so if you are not careful you will find yourself 3-putting (normal is two putts, great if you one putt). Secondarily, the staff is one of the nicest I have met. Starting with Chris in the pro shop, to the marshal who hails from O'ahu, and the grill staff: Everyone is super friendly and nice. I hope I am able to play the course again. I like the layout: It is visually appealing. Be careful if you spray the ball though. There are lots of hazards. Bring lots of balls! LOL read more

What a hidden gem! I had no idea they allow non-members to host events here. Such a beautiful view for parties, weddings or gatherings.

This review is based on the experience with most of the staff( primarily the marshals) We have an annual golf trip and this year we decided Vegas. We were excited to golf at TPC. Before arriving for our 9:30am T time, the staff informed us via a phone call that they are 1 hour behind. They were super communicative about it so we were not one bit mad about the situation. The conditions of this course were absolutely amazing. Great props to the staff for keeping this place so pristine. Our round started taking a toll at around hole 8 when the Marshall said we were 11 minutes behind pace and that we would need to pick it up. We totally agreed and apologized but also let him know that we weren't too far from the people in front of us. Then about 5 minutes later another Marshall came and told us we need to speed up pace which we were confused as 5 minutes beforehand another Marshall told us the same thing. As a result of this second complaint, our other friends behind us were asked to skip a hole in front of us which made our round even slower. Mind you there was no one behind us. Finally, a third marshal visited us in a span of 15 minutes wanting to tell the same thing and at that point both groups were waiting for the group ahead so we got mad and expressed our frustration all at once, which was a little overwhelming but well deserved. After that ordeal the Marshals let us be and we enjoyed the round, but as we finished we pulled up to the clubhouse to return the cart, we asked the gentleman who received the carts if he could take a group picture and he rudely declined saying there would be a traffic jam of some sort if he took the picture since more people would be returning carts. In that 10 minute span which we were there not a single person came to return a cart or was there any "traffic jam". I have to say after this experience, I've never felt so discriminated against than that day. I hate to use the race card, but it truly felt like it. Based on almost spending $400 for a round and getting treated like a peasant, we will not becoming back and definitely will not recommend this to anyone. read more

If you're looking for a scenic, enjoyable golf course to play on in Las Vegas, don't play the TPC Summerlin. What genius came up with the landscaping design to replace the existing landscape, both turf and plants on the TPC? It has to be the ugliest design I've ever seen on a so-called premium golf course. Instead of water-resistant plants and pompous grass bushes, it now has what looks like a construction site after the initial grading. Large chunks of caliche scattered around with tiny cacti and bushes that resemble weeds replace what was a lush, well-groomed pampas grasses. Someone said they are trying to replicate the natural desert around Las Vegas, but I've been in the valley since 1962 and spent my childhood exploring the West valley desert and trust me, this looks nothing like our natural surroundings. It'll be interesting to see how the PGA feels about this obvious downgrade when they hold the next Shriners Children's Open in October. TPC Summerlin has really made a terrible choice on the advice of some architects' options of what our desert looks like. Good chance they don't even live here. Well Done, TPC Summerlin! read more

Things have changed drastically since my first review. Over the years management has changed. Current manager and membership director have driven this once family style club into the ground. Dues were raised 20% last year, food is not worth eating, terrible menu and many times the existing food is ruined in prep. I left a voice mail for George, the assistant food and beverage manager. We had prearranged this call so George could let his new boss hear from a member since they wouldn't listen to him. That one message, my two year unresolved quest to bring back decent food so we members could actually proudly bring guests to the dining room, was played for the general manager. Most members want him out because of his lack of concern due members. His boss, the regional manager, the one who hired this general manager who has ruined other clubs too, has been heard to say he wishes all TPC clubs did not have members at all. Yet we pay for everything! Anyway I got a phone call and the general manager and the membership director were on the other end. They accused me of not having proper decorum in leaving my voice message about the quality of the food. Because I said I want American food and not constant ethnic foods that many of us cannot eat, I was accused of being xenophobic! They had HQ in Florida expel me! Like a school boy! I have every right to complain but this is as the excuse they were looking for to get rid of yet another old member. Worse, they refused to refund my membership fee! I supported the staff during Covid through monthly dues though we stayed away, but they fired or forced most of our staff friends to quit anyway. There are many labor disputes brewing. Another member was expelled and they kept his $40,000 membership fee! Why are they expelling members for invented reasons? Because they oversold new memberships at even higher fees. They are out of lockers and tee times! They need to get rid of us older members to make room for the new. It's all about money. And the PGA backs this! So pass the word, don't join TPC Summerlin! Food sucks. Management sucks! The place is toxic. The restaurant is empty. Go to Red Rock or some other club or better still, play upscale public clubs like Bear's Best. Here's another irony. They are PGA but you cannot bring a caddy. They are not allowed. Yet even some public clubs allow it. I'm thinking of starting a members' newsletter for country club members all over town who want to review their own club from the inside. Beware TPC Summerlin. read more

We Visited the TCP Grille for dinner. Our server Dan was multitasking and very nice. We ordered water with lemon while we looked over the menu. Dan delivered the water without the lemon. He walked back to the bar and picked up the lemons..in his bare hands he came over and plopped the lemons in our water...I was appalled!! No plate, no napkin.. This server/ bartender/cashier ...yes he was touching the money as well, I never saw him wash his hands in between his tasks. Gross and very unsanitary! So good with the bad .. the food was yummy ..but I just kept wondering what other health code violations there were in the kitchen. The restaurant was beautiful. There were 6 people in the restaurant..so not busy at all. I wouldn't be back. read more

My husband has a friend that is a member and loves to golf there when we are in town. He loves the course and says that everything there is top shelf I was invited in for coffee and a peek at the amenities. They serve Starbucks coffee and freshly baked baked goods in the lounge. There was a nice bar and the bartender was very warm and friendly. The pro shop was pricey but nice. The ladies room was very well kept. It's very exclusive and would consider joining if we ever move to Las Vegas. read more

Eh. I was more excited to go than when we arrived. I have been in contact with their coordinator for a wedding, and had gotten a very decent quote. When she informed me that they were having an open house/bridal show with the property decorated, I did not hesitate to RSVP. My mother and I arrived about twenty minutes early, and we were one of the first ones there. They were setting up the food, which included a taco station, a large sushi boat, a large cheese and cracker station, a roasted veggie station, a limited bar with complimentary drinks, and a dessert station..complete with chocolate fountain. We did go outside while they were finishing setting up the inside. We were told that they were doing an "areal shot" of the ceremony site, and once a cart was able, that we would be able to go up there and see the site set up. Meanwhile, we grabbed a few things to snack on, and a complimentary drink. After we had a snack, we circled the small room. It was mainly photographers, the guy that baked the cakes, their trusted hair/makeup gals (who were kind enough to only text some of the time) and the minister, and DJ. I was disappointed in the small room. After still waiting for a cart, my mom and I just decided to walk up the hill the the ceremony site. To tell you the truth, I was kind of underwhelmed. I really wanted more. The fairway was the most green on this place (besides the astro turf that is for the ceremony site) everything else looks pretty lifeless. read more

My experiences here are golf related, but not an actual round was played! The latest was for a reception for Top Doctors 2014, sponsored by Desert Companion magazine. What a great summer soiree! The venue was nice and we enjoyed the patio overlooking the golf course. The bartenders were friendly and there wasn't much of a wait at the bar. We did get to use the putting green, and it was well maintained. The sushi buffet was very good, and there was also fresh fruit to accompany it! We booked our venue at TPC Summerlin last September because of its beautiful venue. What we didn't realize or expected was the amazing staff and Event/Wedding Coordinator that came with it. Keri, the wedding coordinator, is the best there is. She kept us organized and kept us up to date with everything. Anytime I had questions, she replied quickly and even on her days off. Keri and the staff even set up our entire wedding decor so we didn't have to do it! From the beginning of wedding planning all the way to our wedding day, Keri helped made it perfect! Looking back on our wedding day, we can't think of anything going wrong and that's all because of Keri. Besides the amazing Keri, the venue was beautiful and we couldn't have picked a better place. The tables and chairs were exactly what we were looking for and the linens it came with, were tasteful. The DJ that TPC provided was also amazing. Any wedding that we have been to since getting married, we always whisper to each other, "Our DJ was better!" The food... Oh my... The food was definitely the best! We chose the prime rib and lemon chicken with mashed potatoes and asparagus. When the wedding finally rolled around, the prime rib was the one that I couldn't wait to have. Everyone that went to our wedding keeps telling us how amazing the food was no matter how many times they've told us. First let me say THANK YOU to the entire staff of TPC Summerlin! From start to finish we have been so impressed with the beautiful grounds, Bailey Keith the wedding coordinator, the chef and everyone in between! We had a wedding planner that worked with Bailey and had a game plan that worked so well. Bailey even came in on her day off so we could move tables around and do a mock up of the wedding day!!! We also did a food tasting... AMAZING!! My husband and I are big on good food and it exceeded our expectations! My husband is a big man who loves steak and potatoes but he was so impressed with the grilled salmon with the fried leeks and pink caviar there was no looking back! The day of the wedding I was told that our years worth of planning and visions would be spot on and I trusted that! It's was all ten times better then we could have imagined! I can honestly say that was the most Spectacular day of my life. And did I mention, they allowed us fireworks!!!!!!! My mom threw me the most amazing bridal shower at TPC Summerlin. She worked with Bailey to get everything setup. The entire process was seamless, fun, and exciting. Bailey was enthusiastic every step of the way; her can-do attitude really brought the event over the top. The day of the shower, the set up was perfect. Everything looked beautiful. I am not a member of this club (I play for DTC), but I played league there tonight. The club went out of their way to make us, as the visiting team, feel welcome. They provided us with snacks and bottled water. Very nice facility, good design for the courts, they have built in a natural wind break. Here in the valley, the wind can be brutal; someone thought out the layout wisely, and the kid's court is the cutest thing I've ever seen. read more

We were able to acquire a couple of foresome teee times via our own private club in South Florida and we played here last month. Typical Clubhouse large Private & Very nice layout though since its private they don't seem to get much outside play obviously and the cart guys and bag guys seemed sorta of our of sorts putting us together. Course itself was a very nice layout with great character and innovation. Greens were fast but not too fast but faiways were browned out. Near end of April so I can not attest this to coming out of the winter. Not that they were in bad shape just not in TPC green condition. All and all a very nice enjoyable place to play and would not hesitate to play here again, though if I had my choices for the price points there are some other options I enjoyed more. PS: Service & Staff in restaurant was very nice - all club charges and CC accepted and they did have a very nice complimentary appetizer bar laid out after 5PM on the Saturday we played. read more

This is my second time dining at TPC Summerlin. My parents are members so I get to enjoy the beautiful scenery as you dine here. My first experience was breakfast last May. I ordered corned beef hash that came with fresh fruit, I enjoyed my food and ambience on this first visit. My second visit was dinner for 4th of July. They had a bbq buffet but I opted to order from the menu. The food is good and the price is reasonable. My mom ate from the buffet which had a variety of fresh fruit that she enjoyed. She told me the hotdog was really good. She made salad with blue cheese that she truly enjoyed. I ordered the Reuben sandwich, omgosh it was more than I expected. My husband and I shared a chicken nacho for appetizer, it was so big it could have been an entree. My husband ordered the seared Pacific Ahi. I was not too impressed by this, it seemed a bit fishy to me. My dad got filet with asparagus, he seemed to enjoy it. The scenery here is awesome!!!! Keri deserves so much credit for our wonderful wedding back in October! My husband and I had been searching for nice venues and hadn't had any luck. We were starting to get worried until we decided to pay TPC Summerlin a visit. We came in around 5pm and Keri stayed late that day just to show us around. We booked it almost immediately! Keri was very forthcoming with the fact that a major golf tournament happens near October and stands, tents, etc. will be coming down about a week before our wedding. Since we booked a year out, we could see that all the stuff was pretty much down by the time our wedding hit. In fact, we didn't notice any equipment at all on the big day. Keri was very sweet and accommodating throughout the whole process. My husband and I are both on shift work, so making appointments was sometimes difficult. Keri spread out all of our meetings wonderfully and did it with enough time that my husband and I were both able to drop by on occasion. This venue was absolutely gorgeous and photos outside were stunning. Keri was wonderful running us through the checklist of everything we were supposed to get done and would check in with us occasionally to see how we were doing. This kept my husband and I on track :) The experience was way less stressful than I thought it would be because of Keri! Also, I want to mention how amazing the food was! Of all things, those were the best mashed potatoes I've ever had. We had our wedding at TPC Summerlin on Saturday, Nov 7, 2015 and it was truly one of the best days of our lives! Our package included Keri, an event coordinator and wedding planning master. A huge part of the event's success was the result of Keri's attention to detail, calm and confident demeanor and overall professionalism. I simply can't express how grateful I am for her. I'm a high maintenance bride, I had tons of ideas and demands and as we got closer and closer to the big day I grew more and more annoying, I'm sure. From the moment I met Keri, she made me feel relaxed. She put up with my many requests, emails, calls and anything I asked of her, she answered with a sincere smile on her face and did everything she could to make me and my fiancé (now husband) happy. The entire staff, including the chef were incredible. Many of our guests said that the food was the best they've ever had at a wedding. We had a buffet dinner with a salad bar, prime rib and paid a little extra for the prime rib to be served from a chef at a carving station, tortellini, roasted potatoes and sauteed vegetables. Everyone raved about how delicious it was but to be honest, I barely remember eating at the reception, however Keri put together a to-go plate for my husband and I to take back to our hotel room. Thank goodness again for Keri, we ended up eating it cold that night and it tasted amazing. TPC Summerlin was a perfect fit for us inside and out. read more

On march 9, 2018 we played at TPC Summerlin. Friday's round Of golf at Summerlin was a horrible experience. From the get go , in the parking lot We were looking for staff to unload our bags but no one was in sight. We checked in and found a lot Of maintenance vehicles running around. The rough were covered with dried grass/hay and a slight breeze would kick up tons of debris, so Much so that the maintenance crew needed to cover their face and nose With bandanas. Unwarned golfers were left to sneeze their heads off. Many bunkers were under dug up and under construction. It was like playing In a construction site. Lil Man And I called my family today to tell them that they were missing out alot by not being here with us. We came to TPC Summerlin because from the last Sunday til now, TPC Summerlin was hosting the (PGA Tour) Justin Timberlake Shiners Hospital Golf Open. We were glad that it was a nice day not too hot like it has been. This was a great event for everyone. Buying the tickets helped for two events at the same time. We helped with this great event and also helped raise money for Lil Man's Symphony Band. TPC Summerlin a huge golf course. The winner for the event this year was Kevin Na. Lil man and I had a discussion about giving back and helping those that need help such as the cancer patients that the Jt Shriners Hospital are helping. It breaks my heart to read the great reviews of the amazing Keri and weddings at TPC. Keri is no longer at the TPC. She was so impressive and I am sure would have delivered a beautiful wedding. There were lots of changes over the winter and her replacement staff seemed completely untrained, unexperienced, and in the case of management, uncaring and calous. Bailye is sweet, but way over her head and there was no support from management. Benjamin was disagreeable and nasty! My husband and I had our wedding ceremony at TPC Summerlin in February 2017. We were initially drawn to TPC after visiting a few other venues because of their beautiful outdoor space. The hilltop area has a wonderful view and seemed more "special" than the spaces available for ceremonies than other local golf courses. We didn't book our reception at this venue as we intended to have our ceremony at home, about 10 minutes away. We originally wanted to have our wedding in March or April, but wouldn't have been able to secure a Saturday as it was "in season" and they wanted to secure Saturday times for ceremony + reception. So, we pushed our wedding back a little to mid-February which wasn't as busy for the venue. Of course, opting for an off-season date meant that the booking would be a little cheaper, so not complaints here. We decided to include an "appetizer" hour as well so we'd have time to take our photos, and there were many food selections to choose (and try) from. Unfortunately, the day of our wedding it rained non-stop so we had to move our wedding inside 3 hours before. Bailye, our wedding coordinator, was more than helpful throughout the planning and coordinating the move inside when it was realized we couldn't keep the ceremony outside. Overall we had a really good experience and would recommend the venue to others looking for a wedding spot. We got beautiful photos on the property and are happy with our decision to have the ceremony at TPC golf course. Our ceremony cost included the pianist music (of our choosing), flowers on the aisle and alter, and officiant (though we chose to bring our own officiant). The moment my fiance and I saw TPC and the ceremony venue we knew this is where we wanted to get married. The ceremony spot is at the top of the hill overlooking the entire golf course, its right out of post card its so beautiful! If you want beautiful pictures- this is the place to have your wedding, you wont be sorry! The food they provide for the cocktail hours and the reception isnt your typical banquet food- its so delicious! My husband is a total critic of all food (he works in the F&B industry and is a total foodie) and he was so pleased with the food provided. We did a plated dinner instead of a buffet and everything was timed perfectly. Everyone commented on how good the food was and that it was hot, which we know isnt easy when serving 150+ people. Keri responds on her days off, mornings, nights, weekends you name it and really goes out of her way to help in anyway she can, which is so important as a bride when you need answers quickly. John, the F&B director, helped out in between coordinators and he was a delight to work with. I had a wine themed wedding and John and the bar staff saved corks for me to use. The entire staff at TPC Summerlin went above and beyond the call of duty to make my wedding everything I had ever dreamed of. I did A LOT of DIY which required extensive setup and the TPC staff was so accomodating in making it all happen. When I walked into the reception room I was blown away that they made the vision I had in my head a reality. Keri, John and the rest of the staff at TPC Summerlin deserve an award for all they did!! My husband and I struggle to give Keri the credit she deserves when we tell anyone about our wedding. We loved the venue based on the gorgeous ceremony location and the perfect reception space, but we ultimately chose to book our wedding at TPC Summerlin because of Keri. Keri was the answer to every one of our wedding planning prayers and the entire staff at TPC Summerlin over-delivered on the day of. Every lengthy email that I sent to Keri always got a nearly immediate response with every question answered and sometimes those replies came late at night. Everyone on her staff was a terrific listener, a gracious host, and pleasantly accommodating of any request. My husband and I are in the hospitality industry, so we know a staff of this caliber is hard to come by. The food was outstanding, our guests never had to wait for a beverage, the DJ kept the energy going, the cake was dreamy, the reception space was perfect, and the best part - if anything did go wrong - we still have no idea!
