Hands down best toy store in Greensboro! We was around the area and I wanted to check them out finally... I browse a bit and there are so much different kinds of goodies for all ages. It was fun to browse around and see what they had to offer. Staff was super welcoming and of course a toy store would have many kids browsing also lol. This was a fun experience on a random Thursday! You just can't beat a good old actual Toy Store. So many toys out to try and play with. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Such a variety of toys and different age groups. Great stuff animal selection too. They even offer gift wrapping which is a nice addition to an already awesome store. I wish they wouldn't of closed the one in Winston though :( read more

Came here b/c my wife is a big BN fan and there's one a few doors down from it. I wanted to come here b/c I always told my daughter that she needed to see a toy store as the big brand toy store was gone. I AM SO GLAD we came here. We had a freaking blast. Between the array of toys we can play with and just the feel of the place, we must've spent an hour between the playing and choosing of the games we wanted to buy. After sampling all the games, we ended up selecting 3 games. We bought Otrio, a travel version of Qwirkle, and another small game my daughter wanted. Yes - I could've bought something slightly cheaper, however, two things prompted me to want to buy here. The quality of the stuff we bought was good, and it feels good to support local. Very cool store and good to support local of course! This is a throwback to the toy stores I'd go to as a kid. There's an overwhelming selection, wall to wall and floor to ceiling, of stuffies, dolls, puzzles, board games, Legos, parlor games, scooters etc. The store is quite clean and organized despite the chaos of products, and the staff were pleasant too. The prices are higher for items that I could easily find elsewhere, but that's to be expected with the overhead of a small business. Still, there are items that I either wouldn't think to search for or perhaps couldn't easily come upon elsewhere. I don't think this would be a regular shop for me but nice outing to take my kid for her birthday to pick some toys. read more

My husband & I found ourselves in Greensboro & happened to see Toys & Co! We used to LOVE going when it was in Winston! Our kids have many of toys from that location! The store was VERY full, almost a little cluttered feeling. I don't recall the Thruway location being as bad with stuff everywhere, nonetheless the store is an amazing one! So much to choose from & a wide variety for all ages ! It was so fun to finally go back into a Toys & Co !!! read more

The selection of toy trains is absolutely phenomenal. Never visited the store in person, but browsed their website, and they actually have a wider selection of trains than Toys R Us! I just wish it was easier to contact them via email. Likewise, it really sucks that we don't have anything like this in Philadelphia. read more

I went to Toys and Co. for the first time to buy my niece a present for her 3rd birthday. I was told to go there because "they have everything" a friend said. That is the understatement of the century. Toy's and Co. is chock full of toys, stuffed animals, games, and so much more as far as the eye can see. The store is a kaleidoscope of color and almost breathtaking to view. Well, of course, I found exactly what I was looking for. After I paid, my present was wrapped by none other then the owner himself. This store has been a family run store for over 45 years. It is located in Northline Avenue behind the Friendly Center. wandering around today and strolled in here, it is an excellent store to find gifts for your little ones and even your big kids too. they have plushies, puzzles, fidgets, games,inside and outdoor toys. i had a great time looking around and for sure will drop some cash around the holidays. read more

I just love this place. I've visited several of their stores and they carry just a terrific selection of incredible toys. If you're looking for something unique, educational, or just plain out of the ordinary, this is certainly your spot. They have a in incredible selection of Ploymobil, and many other items --including LEGO. This hands down beats any chain store such as what Toys R Us used to be. Prices are very reasonable, and certainly inline with Amazon and online retailers which is very impressive. Just love this place --shop local! It's located inside a plaza and quite easy to spot. The best toy store I've been at! Visiting from San Francisco and needed holiday gifts for our grandchildren who live here. We loved the young man ( said he was new, wore a wrapping paper bow tie, we didn't catch his nwho was working at the register, then switched places to wrap our gifts and even mentioned a Hanukkah gift idea when we asked for Hanukkah wrapping paper. Amazing place and incredible customer service. They are not allowing customers in the actual store right now but have made it easy to pick things through the windows and will assist you from the door. I let them know the age range and type of product I was looking for and they brought me a few options and even demonstrated one of the games for me.
