Me and my family where at the build a bear in Estero at coconut point and we were there to build a…read morebear for my little cousins half birthday and use a gift card that she got for her birthday in December this was about a year or two ago and I got escorted out by " the assistant manager " who I don't think was the manager or assistant manager of the store for calling a staff member who is a girl and has girl parts but identifies as a guy the wrong name and pronouns and I am disabled and I have a thinking disorder and short and long term memory loss I believe that the offend staff members name is Geo or Giovani not sure then my little cousin who was six or seven at the time got kicked out for the same thing but no police were involved but why my mom and cousin were inside I was outside sitting on the bench in the middle of the hottest part of a Florida summer and I got so pale and sweaty that I look like I had heat exhaustion and I just don't feel like this should be tolerated due to the fact that this person is around kids for a living and I also wanted to mention that I have pots and non epileptic seizures due to stress and this didn't help and they didn't even take that I had a thinking disorder into consideration and that I am disabled into consideration and the girl that escorted me out was pushing me and pulling me by my arm and hair this should have never been tolerated in front of the other customers and there children and in front of my mom and little cousin and other staff members I will tell you now that I will never be returning to this build a bear until these people are either fired or has improved there actions and apologize to me and my family personally and publicly and go to behavioral management courses and abuse management through the company and that corporate is contacted about this because it is basically battery and abuse at the same time and the fact that I couldn't just leave or call a family member to come get me because I don't drive and my husband was at work was wrong. But I do want to say that I Appreciate the Bath and body works a couple doors down for being nice and loving and letting me cool down in their store while smelling some samples and smell good stuff and for letting me talk about what happened and my mother was able to talk to the offended person and all the person wanted was a apology which I was willing to do but I wasn't allowed to since it's goes against store policy so build a bear you guys need to have better policies because this is nonsense I didn't like that we had already spent about 25 dollars on a bear and more on accessories and then this happened to my little cousin who is a child so please improve your performance and policies and the person that escorted me out said she did it because "she didn't look like me". I don't Ever recommend this build a bear to anyone the staff here are terrible and you never know what will happen.

The tiles on the ceiling are covered in mildew and water stains. Some of the tiles look like they are about to collapse. Shame on the ownership for allowing this to get this bad.
