Today I needed a breakdown tow (just 2 miles) but the Massey lady said they were "swamped" with no local drivers available right then and it would be "a couple of hours" so I called another Douglasville company. Their driver showed up, was condescending, and used some language I won't repeat. Just plain rude and pushy. I told him to go away and I called Massey back, and told them I would wait at the location with my car. Massey showed up in five minutes. (no exaggeration). He was exceptional. A young guy. He was very cautious hooking to the car. Money was not a big concern in this but Massey was still less than the bad company. I made sure the Massey driver knew I was grateful.

Worst business conducts were found at Liberty wrecker service…read more My wife and I relocated from Los Angeles CA to Douglasville GA. It was the first time we parked our empty dry van trailer at the "At Home" store parking lot. I was worried if they have any parking restriction for their lot, I even checked the whole lot for any warning signs, but couldn't find any. So we dropped our trailer at a space far away from the front lot, where no any other vehicle were parked, hopefully it can be a temporary spot for us to park our trailer before we can find a permanent rental parking space. Only two days later when we drove by the lot and found our trailer is gone, at first I thought it was stolen, then I went to the At Home store and ask the manager if he knows anything about our missing trailer, then he proudly announced he called Liberty wrecker service to tow away our trailer. I ask him why don't they place any parking restriction signs in their lot, all he did was giving me the "I don't know" body gesture and told me he was sorry, then give the number to call... The on duty guy from liberty wrecker service was clueless of what's going on at first, he then found out our trailer was just towed into their lot yesterday afternoon, and told us we had to pay $650 towing fee if we want to get it out from their yard, I asked him is it a scam that they or At Home store didn't place any parking restriction signs in that parking lot? Then he got furious and said either we paid the fee or they keep our trailer. Since the notorious towing companies are one of the least regulated businesses that will consider "treat others the way we want to be treated" when it comes to how they want to make their money, so I stooped reason with the guy on the phone and headed to their lot in Villa Rica GA with the CASH (real reason for cash only remains unknown) he requested. But before I went there, I walked around At Home's parking lot to record evidence that they had no parking restriction signs place in the lot, guess what, there actually was just one 7" x 10" sign placed behind a bush near one of the three parking lot entrance, and that entrance is inaccessible to big rigs. Which made it even more obvious that they were violating the code of conduct, trying to make their life easier by making it harder for others.

We asked Liberty to tow our car to our repair shop. They refused and towed it to their lot. The…read moretold us it was $300 cash to get our car out of the lot. The next day we arrived and it was $385 cash to get our car out of the lot. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Fraud agency.
