Walked in at 1:00 on a Monday to use one machine to wash our swimsuits before traveling home. The entire staff was incredibly rude and I was told all of the machines were being used for commercial purposes- as I literally faced 4 empty machines with $3.50 price tags. read more

Visited Townsend on vacation and ended up with a big pile of dirty laundry after a couple days. I stopped in late on a Wednesday, around 6pm, and ran one load of laundry. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The washers ran quick and the prices were reasonable. I'd definitely come back here again. read more

Townsend laundromat is a great place to do laundry. Machine work well reasonable priced and place is clean and comfy. The drop and fold is great . The pricing is great The people just freindly and helpfull. I have been using this location for over a year and never been disappointed. I highly recommend it. read more

Staff is very rude. All the larger equipment is solely used for commercial accounts so you're forced to use the smaller machines and there is a dog (very friendl) running loose and there is dog hair everywhere on the floors.- read more

If I could give this place a zero I would. I never leave bad reviews but the lady(someone called her Julie and assuming she is the owner) was VERY RUDE. We used 5 washers for my family. My husband asked one of the workers if we could go grab lunch and she said sure. And I thanked her. So we go grab a bite and we were gone but didn't look at the time. I believe that it was a little over an hour. We go straight back and are greeted with,"You can no longer leave when you have clothes here!". I said ok and she stated that some people came in and couldn't use the washers because our clothes were in them. I understand, however there were 3 washers out of order. One of the washers we used, did not spin the water out of the towels. We went on and dried our stuff (and did not leave). When we finished I very nicely told the lady that I was sorry for what had happened but that we would not be returning. Her response,"GOOD!!!" I also told her that one of the young ladies said that it was ok for us to go to lunch. The lady said,"well she told you to be back in 40 minutes." I told her that she did not and apologized to the young lady. I was sorry because Julie gave her a look that could kill. There are signs all over the place that say you are being recorded. I wish that I would have thought to tell her to review film to see what was said between her worker and my husband and I, concerning lunch. In addition, there were signs saying that unattended clothes will be put in plastic bags. That was not done either. They obviously do work for companies with cabins. All of her workers were sorting, washing, and folding white linens. We witnessed them dropping clean linens onto the floor, picking it up, and folding it in a stack. This is unsanitary. We spent $30 to wash and dry our clothes, in a matter of a little over 2 hours. The owner made a pretty penny from us. Moral of the story...BEWARE!!! Go at your own risk. The staff seems like they are family! They were very nice and helpful. The washers and dryers and professional and bulk quality, and might seem a little pricey, but you do get what you pay for. This is certainly one of the nicer laundromats and they do offer folding services. read more

The facility is pristine, the staff were very helpful, and there's a coffee shop next door. The change machine takes up to $20 bills. I've been in the area and used this facility a handful of times over the last decade or so. I've never had any complaints. I'm not sure what the busybodies are fussing over, but if you need laundry services in Townsend this is the spot. read more

Do not use their wash and fold. My REI hiking pants were stolen as well as some very nice leggings. When I went in to pick up my cloths I commented to my husband that the girl looked like she was wearing something I had dropped off. Not wanting to accuse without proof, I let it go. When my laundry was returned there were several very nice pieces missing. They promised my laundry in 24 hours but we had to call them all day to get someone to answer the phone. We made 3 trips trying to get our clothing only to find no one in the premises. Do not leave your clothes with them!!!9 read more

I was leary to come here cause of the reviews but I didn't have another option. I got here at soon as they opened on a Wednesday and was in and out without issues. Location was very clean. I had a slight issue with my quarters and the employee helped me without any snark. Only gave 4 stars because wash/dry is $2.50 each. read more

We are full time RV travelers so we go to laundromats every week. I downloaded yelp just to make sure no one else wastes their time to go here. Those good reviews must be from the staff/owners. They do commercial laundry as well but they have it set up right in the middle of the laundry mat so there isn't anywhere to move. The commercial laundry took up all the moving carts as well as the larger equipment so you are stuck using a lot of smaller washer (which obviously makes them more money). Employees would just stand in your way and not move then when you ask and even say excuse me with a please they are rude. Wash and dryer are overpriced. All change machines are broken so is half the equipment you are allowed to use. Only positive is it's pretty clean. Reviewed the other business as well because they tried to up rating by creating another page. read more

I had a very bad experience here. They have a visa sticker in the window but don't actually accept credit. They were rude and unhelpful when I asked for help finding an ATM anywhere else in town. I would keep going down the road to the next one you find. read more

This laundromat is exceptionally clean with new washers and dryers. There are instructions everywhere, and are not difficult to use. Clothes came out clean, although they were not heavily soiled. With this being said, the DRYERS ARE NOT AS EFFICIENT. The dryers have a fixed price of $2.50 for 30 minutes and when the cycle ended, my clothes were damp and barely warm. I had to put 3 loads of clothes in the commercial dryer for $5.50 to get the job done. That's why I am giving this laundromat 3 STARS. BE FOREWARNED AND USE THE COMMERCIAL DRYER INSTEAD.
