My property had been…read moresitting vacant with very little activity, and after switching to Westrom, they secured a qualified 2-year tenant in about ONE WEEK, at a HIGHER rent than I previously had. I would never have thought I could get that number. I was absolutely blown away. Jon Westrom, the owner, even met me on a Sunday to walk through the property and talk strategy. That level of dedication is rare. His entire team works with real fire, fast, motivated, and incredibly effective. They communicate clearly, take action immediately, and truly go above and beyond. I'm beyond impressed and extremely grateful. If you're looking for the best property management company in DFW, Westrom Group is it. Highly, highly recommend.

The back spicket is broken and you can't connect a hose to it plus it's coming out of the siding. My fence is rotting to death. We don't use the pool anymore because adults aren't allowed to have fun. Ridiculous. I'm not talking be inappropriate. We should be able to bring a noodle? As a renter I pay for all of this. We pay over $2200 a month for 1600 square feet and that includes the garage. They care more about the land lord than the tenants. When the lease is up we are out. I recommend everyone do research before you rent. Rent is always negotiatable if you're dealing with honest people! I will not attack anyone 1 person. I feel that both renter and landlord should be happy not just 1 sided. Jon I have discussed these problems with you months ago and I texted you today around 11:50am and it's 5:00pm. You are the one who made the rules and said that the privacy fence is a privilege and your office says it too. In fact you have it in your hand book. You haven't solved any problems for me to write a good review. I told you I would not put a good review in until I see changes. No changes on your end at all. Don't come on here and lie. I respect honest people. You aren't being honest. This relationship will end on the last date of the lease and I will take care of everything you need from me to get out of here. I will end with that. Anything you say after this I will come back with facts. Let's leave it alone and just make it to next August. We are not breaking rules and taking care of the property with love and care. So I should have no problem getting my deposit back when we move! I already handed over my documents to a professional.     My husband and I rented from there for 10+ years, in the same house. Was never once late on the…read morerent, and rarely ever complained. The trouble with the staff started roughly 6 months to a year after moving in. The property slowly started to fall apart. The plumbing in the house needed to completely be redone. When we called the FIRST time about backed up plumbing, they came back and blamed it on us, saying we were flushing things we shouldn't be, such as feminine hygiene products. While living there, we had to call about the plumbing at least twice per year. We also had to always call about either our air conditioning not working, or the heat not working. And we had the same pipe bust more than once while there. One winter, they had a cut a hole in the wall to fix said pipe, then told us maintenance had to fix the hole. No one ever showed up to fix the pipe, and it was like that until we moved out, which was about 3 or 4 years. They would blame us for not taking care of the lawn, when in fact they would send someone to mow it for us literally the day after we mowed it, then charged us over $100 per time they mowed. We had critters get inside the attic almost constantly. Raccoons, possums. We even found a 5 foot snake (non-venomous) in our kitchen one Spring. The bathroom floor got so rotted that it fell through. Although we reported it as soon as it started, maintenance didn't show up until part of it fell through. While getting repaired, I noticed that there was black mold all over the place. And not all the wood was replaced. The wood used was old, and preused. A year or two passed, and the floor was showing signs of beginning to fall in again, along with part of the flooring in the kitchen. There was even a time where they had sent us an eviction notice. Which stated that since we didn't pay our rent that month, we have to be off the property within 2 days of getting that letter. We called them, and the end result was that they MISPLACED our money order! They put it in someone else's file! We got a phone call from one of the rental managers, stating she wanted to come out to take photos of everything that needed to be fixed. We made an appointment. She showed up on said date, and I showed her everything, and she took pictures. Nothing ever got done. In fact, about a year or two later, she lied and said she never went out to take pictures, and that we were lying. But I have the voicemail to this day to prove that she called me to confirm that appointment. (She even showed up with a really huge guy, who was acting like a body guard!) I write all this to tell everyone our LONG experience while living in a property managed by SherDen. They are lazy, rude, unprofessional, and frankly, liars. Anyway, I know this was a really long review, but I feel it needed to be said.
