It's just not worth it. 1. Never enough parking on the SW side 2. They don't accept packages (you have to travel downtown to get them) 3. Mouse problem despite a clean apt and pest fees. 4. Potheads that stink up the whole building 5. Kids that play, jump, shake, and scream in the hallway. All for $1,200+ a month. It gets two stars because you won't get shot here. read more

I lived here for about 5 months - from April-September (2019) after I lost my house in a fire. I typically don't complain but since I had such a bad experience, I thought I'd save someone from making a mistake: -The new apartment manager is a POS. After I moved out, a box was delivered to the front office. She sent it back the VERY NEXT DAY, which would be understandable since I no longer lived there BUT I'd gotten an email saying they would keep packages for 2 weeks before sending them back. I was pretty upset, especially since I went to get the package the VERY NEXT DAY. That means they kept it for less than 24 hours. This was very irritating, especially since I'd gotten an email saying they'd keep packages for 2 weeks. -The utilities were higher than my house utilities, which is puzzling since it was a one-bedroom. My guess is the hall lights are wired to the apartments and since they are on 24/7, it racks up your bill. Also, they charge for every little thing, like pest control (even though I had ants). They also charged an "Administration Fee" every month. All theses little costs stacked up. I believe the monthly grand total was $1,275 per month for a one-bedroom on the 3rd floor - and there are no elevators. -The seal in my bedroom window was broken, leaving condensation inside the window that never went away. -The pool needed repaired and was closed in the summer. -They left rude letters taped to the doors saying they would tow our cars if they weren't moved by a certain time for a paving project, a project we were given no notice about. -My mailbox key didn't work and I had to get a new one. My advice: Save your hard-earned money and rent a less expensive place to save up and buy a house. This place looks fancy but it's really not. Everything is cheap (the doorknobs on the laundry closet doors didn't even match) and way too expensive. read more

This is one of, if not the largest Apartment Complex in the Troy area. Probably one of the nicer/nicest ones as well. It features a outdoor pool, work out area, on site maintenance, optional garages, and fairly up to date Apartments. But they have recently been purchased by an outside company and the Apartment Complex that was, is fading. They have cut part of the staff which in turn means a longer wait time to see someone about a problem, or waiting longer for maintenance to repair things. Also with the purchase, it has raised the rates all across the board. When we moved out, the lowest rent you could get was a 1-bedroom apt for right at $700/month. To me that's getting pretty pricey. And you can only have (2) vehicles per unit...so if you're a family of 5 with (4) cars....you better be renting (2) garages or you can't live there or risk getting towed. But on the plus side you are directly adjacent to Flingers, the DMV, Cassano's Pizza, Walmart, Kohls, Dollar Tree, Radio Shack, the dentist.....just among some of them. We literally walked to all those places weekly. So you can cut down on some of your driving by living here. Overall it was an ok experience living here. Wasn't the greatest, but far from the worst. Super convenient to everything tho. read more

Debbie, the manager, is one of the worst people I've ever dealt with. I've personally seen her verbally abuse Robert, the maint guy, and the other office staff on a regular basis. She is rude to me whenever I pick up a package and my son has seen her turn people of color away from renting while he was waiting in the office. He was personally offended. The apartments are nice and the pool and the grounds are great, but I can't deal with the office culture she breeds. It's uncomfortable and mt neighbor's and I will be leaving as soon as we can. It's too bad one person can effect my life in such a terrible way. read more

If I could give this place a -5 star, it would be well worth it. My fiancee and I lived at Town Park for 6 months. The apartments themselves are nice and decent quality. The staffing and financial part of Towne Park is absolutely NOT WORTH IT!!! When we moved in my Fiancee was allowed to have his work van in the parking lot. Halfway into our lease, he got pulled into the office by Debbie (whom is no longer working there) and she told his van is no longer allowed in the parking lot because it "lowers the value of the apartments". Emily (whom is now head of the complex) is the one that went over the lease and we signed up with. She seen his van many times and never once told us his van is not allowed. While Debbie was trying to tell us his van isn't allowed we were emailing Emily telling her what is going on and that she KNEW about his van. She continues to lie straight to our faces and claimed she knew nothing about the van. Later on when our 6 months lease was up we decided we're not going to renew, so Emily writes up a balance of what our prorated amount would be. My fiancee and I double checked TWICE with her that the amount she told us was right and both times she told us yes, it's right. Right before we were about to move out she tells us the amount is wrong and we need to pay double the amount she wrote on the paper. We refused to pay it due to us double checking with her about the number many times AND had a signed copy with her signature of the amount she wrote the first time. A month later of us not living there we receive our bill for that "half month" we lived there and all the sudden we owe a random $300 for utilities (even though we weren't living there). TOWNE PARK IS NOT WORTH IT!!!!!! YOU WILL GET SCREWED!!!!!!! read more

My son and I came to Troy Ohio to visit Hobart Institute of welding. While here we needed to do some work to set him up in an apartment for the 11 months he'll be at school. We stopped by the Towne Park apartment complex and we were met by Robert Schwartz and Debbie Ferraro. Both were very busy but took time to work with us. After Robert showed us the apartment Debbie worked the application process to secure the apartment for my son. Neither could've been more professional than they were today. This is an example of customer service at its finest and I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a place to live in this town. read more

Don't do business with this company, they have a F at the Better Business Bureau. The rent is so high, and so are the electric bils. The pool is filthy the trash overflows. The management is out to get your money. With all of the nice well maintained rentals in Troy, don't make a mistake and get dazzeled here. It's a total joke. Staff is very quick to respond to an issues at hand and repair them. This is one of the few complexes that will allow pets and they even supply the doggy bags to pick up after your pet. They are strict about this policy and about their pet deposit. No problem if you obey the rules! There are some younger people here ignoring these rules and making it difficult on everyone. As they are being weeded out through either moving or eviction they are slamming this complex. Please take that into consideration as they are not telling the truth. I would however suggest a top floor apartment! read more
