She got to her 7 am appointment and is the first patient of the day so that she could still go to school after the appointment. I got a phone call from my daughter that they didn't schedule her for a filling. They scheduled her for an exam... even though the last appointment was the exam. So the lady comes on the phone and says, "Oh yeah, they billed it wrong, so we're just going to make sure she still has a cavity" (what??? cause maybe it just went away since the last visit?). I said, "Ma'am, the last visit you told me she had a cavity, so she's there to have it taken care of. Please bump the next patient back a little so that you can take care of my daughter's filling. She said, "No, we can't. His schedule is way too full today. We don't have time to fix it today. She'll need to reschedule." No apology. No nothing. So now we're heading back to our old dentist an hour away...because driving an hour to a reputable dentist ABSOLUTELY beats driving five minutes to this money-grab office.

I am having some pretty extensive work done (to me at least) and they are up front and honest about every step in the process. They make sure that I understand everything that is going to happen and that all of my questions are answered. After my first extensive visit I received 2 phone calls to make sure everything was OK the following day. One from the office manager and another from the dentist herself. I put a lot of emphasis on customer service so believe me when I say that they get it. They also control the pain level and ask you often if you are comfortable. If not, they will stop and make sure that you are comfortable before continuing. You never feel rushed or as if you are just a number. What more can you want from a dentist. The staff is friendly and facility is pleasant. I went in for help with a broken molar; expecting it to be addressed as THE priority of the visit and that it would be extracted during the visit. I received an x-ray series, an exam of condition of teeth and gums by hygienist, a REVIEW of the exam of my teeth and gums by the dentist (all totaling 3 hrs., incl. 2 hrs. wait time). Serious talk of periodontal disease, scaling and planing teeth my, antibiotic treatment (@ $101 per tooth!), health conditions that I do not have, replacing a missing cap with a root canal (never recommended before).... all recommended in an $12,000+ dental plan (cash) in addition to extracting the one broken tooth that was NOT extracted that day - the only REASON for the appointment THAT DAY! As I had to travel out-of-state the next day for a week, I have additionally lost a silver filling from either the broken molar or a neighboring tooth.
