Unfortunately, I have had to have a lot of dental work over the years and have had some wonderful experiences with competent and caring dentists. Not this guy. I wouldn't let him cut my lawn! I was there 3 times and each time was a dental disaster! And, he berates his staff iand places blame on them n front of patients and runs around working on three patients at a time, which contributed to his mistakes, I believe. Also, his receptionist told me over the phone I needed to come to my appointment with a check for $21,000 (out-of-network). The temporary he made cracked and when I went in to have him look at it he suggested I find a dental lab on my won! I had paid him $1,200 and he wants me to find an outside lab, doesn't even know any! Finally, he lists and promotes himself as a "cosmetic dentist." If you look on the American Dental Association website, you will learn that it is not a recognized term. It's a made up title. Well, he did seem to do one thing well. As I was leaving his office one evening at 7:30pm after a long appointment, he was vacuuming his waiting room. He seems to be able to do that. What a disastrous experience.

Afterward I ran my tongue around my teeth (like you do) and they did not feel clean. When the dentist came in she tried to convince me to replace my crown and whiten my teeth (the dentist 6 months earlier wanted to replace my old fillings) I did neither, my teeth are fine When I went to check out and reschedule for my next cleaning I told the receptionist that I had been scheduled for the wrong type of cleaning this visit and I want to make sue to schedule the regular cleaning on my next appointment. She looked in the computer and said that I had been put on a special treatment plan by the head hygienist and she couldn't change it. As she told it, I had been put on a periodontal plan (bad gums) and I would have to talk to the head hygienist so she could explain why I can't get a regular cleaning (even if I wanted it) At this office the "head hygienist" has the power to bully you into a service you never discussed or agreed to you are expected to go along with it because she says so. She told me my reaction was normal and to use ice and salt water even though 3 days later my symptoms had not improved. Being the common sense person I am, I consulted another doctor who felt I was suffering an allergic reaction and had me take some Benadryl which cleared me up practically overnight. No thanks to this office I suffered needlessly and could have gotten worse.
