Once you get past that, though, there's an impressive display of all types of beads. Unlike many bead stores, this one has signs asking that you put a clip on the bead string you're interested in, and the staff will bring it to you. While I understand why that makes sense because it's a small store and things get misplaced and restocked in the wrong place, having to wait for someone to find your pin and bring the string to you is awkward. Things look different when they're in your hand versus hanging on a wall. I found some beautiful Austrian glass and a variety of wood beads that are difficult to find in most stores, and the prices are way more reasonable than I would have expected in a tourist-driven area. There's not much room in this small shop, so any more than 3 or 4 people and you'll be close to knocking things off the wall and shelves. Go early in the morning or late in the day for the best chance to really see everything.

I decided one morning I would go in and have a look around. My experience was less than positive. In fact I was so taken aback by the rudeness of the store clerk I will never give them my business. I've received "not-so-great" service at other places before but I chalk it up to bad days, personal reasons, etc. This was an entirely different story. When I entered the store the lady behind the counter, "Barb" was on the phone. So as not to be rude I stood back and waited for her to be done with the call. She hung up and I approached the counter. She did not look up. I did not want to break her concentration so I waited. She still did not acknowledge my existence. I was starting get annoyed. Someone from the back of the shop called for assistance and without looking at me (I'm not even two feet in front of her) she hurried off to help them. I couldn't believe it! A moment later, after she finished helping the person, she did not return so I peered around a display and found her standing in the middle of the shop staring at the ceiling. I inched closer hoping she would take notice of me this time. Still nothing! It wasn't until I was close enough to touch I spoke up. "Excuse me," I ventured. The look on her face was a look of disingenuous surprise as if it was horribly wrong to interrupt her ceiling meditation. It turned out the item I was after (the one in the display) they didn't carry. False advertising if you ask me. However, I was instructed that I could admire the item from OUTSIDE. Yes, that's right, she ordered me out of the store! Unbelievable. I also work at one of the many fabulous business here in downtown Bozeman. I often have people wander in looking for other businesses or even to do business with us but are confused by the building. I always greet them warmly cause I really am happy to see them even if I can't help them. Employees are the faces of the companies they work for and have a large impact on the customers and communites they serve. Old Bozeman Beads, you're doing it wrong.

Trespassing me and still I am tresspassed from what he told her. I committed no crime The manager who hires drug addicts and drug dealers and I guarantee you if they tested by hair follicle test all there employees would fail. I urge people to not support this business because of this manager who only heard of one side of the story. People like William sherrill who faked having a stroke in public and social media and actually rents out his apartment and deals drugs in his HUD housing urban development and PHA public housing authority apartment for profit and kicks people out of his arrow point apartment in Bozeman Montana while keeping there belongings my TV and accusing people of stealing an ebike he's never owned nor purchased.

Unfortunately, I removed his mask from his car (accidentally) when bringing in the groceries, so by no fault of his own he was left without a traditional face covering when he ran to the this gas station. In an attempt to remain safe and responsible, and with the utmost respect for the current directive, he covered his face with the only thing he could, his shirt. He was careful to adhere to social distancing recommendations, and quickly ran in to grab his beverage. Not only was he refused service, he was treated horrifically by the cashier. The regulation in Montana defines "Face covering" as a fabric, paper, or disposable face covering that covers the nose and mouth. My partner was in compliance with the directive. It might not have been a traditional face mask, but there was a fabric covering, over his mouth and nose. It is despicable that anyone would be so emboldened, as to think it appropriate to speak to a costumer so disrespectfully. We own a company, and spend $1000's of dollars a month in gas for our trucks. We do so almost entirely at this location. I hope who ever profits from our business reads this- because your rude employee just cost you a loyal and lucrative customer! His behavior is shameful.
