Happy to have in my back yard. Where I used to live was a 25 minute drive to Boston Road and enjoy great service from familiar faced over the years. Now I can drop off my vehicle and walk home and come back at my convenience. Had a simple tire rotation done and my only complaint is not being able to pull around back like on Boston Road and just having the 25 mile torque check done on the spot. Before I left for New Jersey, I stopped at Enfield Town Fair Tire (within a hour of closing time). Because it was a 4 hr 250 mile trip I needed assurance that the tires were problem free. Do not listen to that slick haired loser salesmen. His loser 50 year old junk car is parked in customer parking for no reason other than for customers to stroke his ego, as he is robbing you blind to go stuff his cheeks with Maine lobster sandwiches. If you fall for these fake reviews, have your lug nuts torques checked by another mechanic to see for yourself, because they might snap off on the highway trying to avoid this salesmen's junk car losing control. They did such sad and poor job throwing my car out of balance because they were in a hurry, your car might be next and the danger of having over torqued lug nuts on your wheels at highways speeds could be fatal, do you want your wheels to fall off while going 70mph with your kids in the back seat????? no you don't, and that's why you go a real professional tire shop. As the employees were fighting in the back with front desk employees, think twice before sending your kid, wife, or mom. They might get tires flung at them. I see many beautiful fake reviews praising the "great" service, this is the second car they have destroyed the lug nuts on, because they use an impact torquer, and they are definitely not worried about the metrics specified by your vehicles manufacturer. I made an appointment for 10:30am, and sat to wait. They did not take the car in until 12:45 and finished for 1:15pm. they did not tell me the car was done, did not text. I had to go back in and ask if they were done so I could finally leave. very disappointed that they took up my entire morning. they should not schedule appointments that they could not keep. read more

I just called Town Fair Tires to inquire about an availability to check my tire sensors. The sensor light is on despite all four tires having the recommended tire pressure. I was told that because they are now in the holiday season any vehicle has to be dropped off in the morning and picked up in the afternoon. I have no one to drop me off so I asked the person taking the call if TFT had a vehicle I could rent so I can drive myself to and from work. I had a nail in my tire requiring it to be replaced. My husband made an appointment with this company for 9 am. I arrived at that time and they didn't check me in until 9:15 am. I have been waiting over 2 hours (almost 3 in total) for a single tire to be put on my car! I went and asked what was taking so long and the guy at the desk told me I hadn't been there exactly 2 hours, just over an hour (an hour and 45 minutes). The salesman who helped me was very concerned that I was still there and I explained to him they hadn't even taken my car back yet! The other guy told me my car would be next when they in fact took 2 other vehicles in. Also, while I was waiting walk ins were being helped that came in after my appointment time. I will not ever be returning to this place for any services to my vehicle. If you schedule an appointment here make sure to have your schedule cleared because they do not honor appointment times. read more

The Enfield Connecticut Town Fair Tire is putting the lives of CT drivers at risk. Don't believe me? Attached are the photos for proof. My brother & I went here for a simple tire swap. What we were given back was a wheel with a missing lug nut, and a rim cut on the mounting point with what appeared to be a drill. The shard of metal in the photo attached is a piece of our rim, given to us by an employee, & his manager "Eric". We watched thru the live-view, two employees beating on the rim to cause this damage to occur. The Town Faire Tire of Enfield Connecticut told us that they would remove the key using a master-key set in a safe manner, They lied. Upon informing Eric of the dangers his actions have imposed upon us, his response was "That's not a safety issue" Eric you are a liar, point blank. A compromised rim and a missing lug nut is a serious safety issue, which can result in the tire & wheel detaching from the vehicle EVEN if it is hub-centric. At highway speeds, this can be fatal. Town Fair Tire of Enfield CT is putting speed and profit, over driver safety. I can't help but wonder how many unsuspecting customers have received the same treatment as us. How many have crashed? How many have been injured? How many have died? This may sound dramatic, but driving on a compromised wheel that has been cut up with a grinder or a drill is a serious safety issue that can kill. Town Fair Tire lied to us, and put our lives in danger in the process. I strongly urge anyone who has work done at this establishment, have the work rechecked by a locally trusted mechanic. I had a rough week and needed to get away for the weekend, but had a niggling feeling about one of my tires. Kept losing a little air every few days, and I just hadn't taken the time to get it checked out. But here I was, on a Friday morning, wanting to hit the highway for a 140-mile trip in 24hrs. I called up Town Fair, thinking there was no way I'd get in til the next week (summer driving season, holiday weekend). They got me in for 2pm that day! I rolled in at 2pm, and they were very busy. Not mobbed but definitely steady. I noticed one guy behind the counter was talking to a younger guy, giving him work advice. Turns out, he (young guy) was new and they were down a guy, and things had just been busy. People had probably been testy. I myself was feeling testy (day 7 of a nasty heat wave, bad week). But it was just nice to see the TFT guys supporting one another. Softened my hard, little irritated heart. The man who helped enter my van into the system/queue was very chill and calming. I actually went with an alignment and a tire-check (with a possible tire purchase, if needed). The waiting area was clean and there were comfortable seats. There's a screen to watch the bays, a screen to watch your vehicle's progress, and a big screen TV to just watch something else. Eventually, my vehicle was ready (and my leaky tire was just a skinny nail that had barely punctured the tire). The young man who went over everything with me was articulate and polite. I had my second road hazard warranty tire replacement. There is a fair charge for the replacement of about $40.00. This charge is for new tire road hazard, valve stem when necessary and balancing. I am presently working with them to have clear wording in their road hazard policy on the mobil app, I know that they don't want to be misleading. These guys do things safely and are motivated to do things fairly and right. Great place for tire repairs and replacement. I recommend them highly. read more

This is my second time going there. First time was to have all 4 wheels replaced, made an appointment, took about an hour. Recently popped a tire, made an appointment and brought in the solo tire, just carried it into the shop. Was told because I had an appointment they would get me right in. There was one other person in the waiting area when I arrived. 5 others showed up after me. They all left before me. Thanks to the screen showing the cars being worked on, I know that every person that came after me had at least 2 of their tires done for their cars, if not all of them. I had one tire. Didn't even have the car that needed to be driven and put on a lift. Just a lone tire. I sat there for an hour and half. Then I finally receive the text saying the job is done. Someone always comes around and calls out whose done. I waited and no one came for me. At this point I'm the only one waiting. I finally go up to the counter and there are two men. One doesn't acknowledge me at all and leaves. The other is sitting on his phone. I say I got the text and wondering if its actually done. He gets up and walks around the counter and grabs the tire. I get mounting and changing tires is a lengthy process. But this was ridiculous. read more

Eric at Town Fair Tire in Enfield is awesome! We brought our Benz in for four new tires and an alignment, and he he was extremely helpful! We placed an order online two nights before and called to check on it yesterday and there were issues and Eric took care of them all with no problem. We got there this morning the tires were just coming off the truck, and they got us in and out. Car drives like it's brand new. We are bringing our other car back in a week for four tires ( Eric had to do some research to find tires for it, but he did it and we'll be back when they come in to have them all put on). While we were there, other customers were coming in and all of them sounded happy and the other staff was really polite and all seemed to really know their stuff. Sure they have the biggest name , but that doesn't mean they're the best. Here's how my nightmare started. I brought my truck in for a simple alignment after installing a leveling kit. The added height changes the camber geometry, which should have been a simple fix. I paid , dropped my truck off on Saturday and said lock the keys in it , I'd pick it up after hours. When I did I discovered my truck now pulled horribly to the right and my steering was 6" off center when traveling straight. Brought it back that Monday, explained and had them re do the so called alignment. When completed the tech gave me the spec sheet and noted "that thing was hammered , we got it straightened out for you". Ok so if it was hammered after 1 day , what the hell was done the first time ? None the less I hoped they fixed it a left. Around the corner, while not driving in traffic I notice the truck is now aligned , however the steering is still off center. Mind you I understand it's an older truck with some wear, BUT there should still be a center of the steering angle while going straight, regardless. Now driving straight my wheel is essentially still turned 4" from center. I bring it back and third time to explain and just ask them to please center it, a simple fix. After leaving for the THIRD time my steering is now 1-2" from center which literally drives me insane. Is a job done right too much to ask for ? This problem did not exist before town fair touched my truck. They simply cant be bothered to spend the extra time to do things right. I simply don't have the time to waste to go back a 4th time. I most mad at myself for not demanding a refund and trying elsewhere. So now I generally drive around with a small bit of rage every time I see my steering wheel. read more

Good work, but terrible time management. I was there twice within a few months, and it was the same experience both times. The prices were fair, the work done was perfect, but they are awful with your time. Both times they were pretty strict with making appointments over the phone- but once I was there, they took 30 minutes the first time, and just under an HOUR the second time just to take my car inside. The waiting area is nice, and the quality of work is good, and their friendly enough, but the whole purpose of making an appointment is so that you don't waste a ton of time. read more

This is by far the finest staff I've encountered at an auto mechanic shop. Mike, Jay, and Dave are all stand up guys who go out of their way to be kind and accommodating, even to those of us who know absolutely nothing about cars. I've been in twice now and both times I have received prompt service from a really friendly staff. They also have never tried to up sale me or make me pay for something I didn't need. In fact, I think the prices are more than fair given the experience. The waiting area is small but has free coffee, free wifi and a flat screen so what more can you ask for? There are tons of auto shops on Palomba but this one is by far the best. read more

If you value your time , then do NOT go here! I made an appointment to have new tires put on my car at 10am this morning. I drove 30 minutes to the location, only to find many lines. I went to one of the workers and asked him where I should go, because I had a 10am appointment. The man said "The back of a line". When I stated that I was concerned that I would then miss my appointment, he then said "They are all appointments. We don't make them. The office does." I then said, "So, there are no actual appointments? If I was going to wait, I wouldn't have bothered making one." He said, "There were like 20 people outside this morning, and they made appointments for like 41 people at 10 this morning. Come here and I'll show you." I told him that I didn't need to see anything, he works there so he would know, and that I needed to go somewhere else. "The office did this, ma'am. We don't." I left with no tires, no apology for wasted time, and no plans to ever patronize this establishment. The tires they quoted me were a good price, but I would rather pay more for better customer service, because MY TIME IS WORTH MONEY. To management: Appointment is a noun that means to meet someone at a particular time and place. It is horrible customer service to set appointments that mean utterly nothing, and is so disrespectful to your customers. Perhaps some are desperate and will take this sort of treatment as something that just goes along with getting a little cheaper price, but for the rest of us, there are too many options out there to have to settle for Town Fair Tires. Big Dave was very nice I told him what was going on with my brand new tires from a different location and being charged for something that covered my warranty and he told me to come down right away and he went above and beyond to get my car looked at and make sure everything was all set and he didn't charge me at all because it was recent from my tire purchase. I have to say, I am a big fan of Town Fair Tire, I've found my dealings over the years in several of their locations to be very favorable, the service and price have been top notch in my opinion. If you are going to buy tires, do your research on line, print out the quote, they will match or even beat your best price and give you a heck of a deal on alignment to boot. My most recent visit concerned my TPMS warning light, it had been on for a few days, they checked it out found all four tires were low in pressure due to the extreme cold, they resealed the tire to the rims, inflated them and for $4.92, I was back on my way. God awful. Would give negative stars if I could. Used to go here years ago before the move to the current location. They did a good job then. Now they are run by morons. I've gotten defective tires that had to be replaced, and most recently had gotten four new tires that were causing my car to shake. It was thought they were not balanced correctly. When I went back, it was like I was inconveniencing them. I finally gave up, took the hit, and went somewhere else. Turns out the tires they gave me were starting to split after putting only 12k miles on them. You could do better getting your tires in a junk yard, and asking a brain dead monkey to put them on for you. read more

Apparently making an appointment doesn't really mean anything -it's not like they hold a bay for you or at least that's what the guy told the lady in front of me in line that had an appointment at 2:30 and was still waiting at 3 for her car to get taken back. I should've walked out then but I didn't. I listened to the guy that said not having an appointment was not a problem I would get worked right into the rotation for my tire rotation and alignment. I even asked again and made sure he was aware I would be waiting ... THREE AND A HALF HOURS later with a sunburn from sitting outside on the only benches available for customers in the blaring sun my truck was finally ready. I went in today to get prices for my wife's Jeep and ended up purchasing through him within twenty minutes. When they say they will beat their competitors prices they mean that. STAY AWAY! I came here after buying a new set of tires in the East Hartford location I gave them 3 tries to get my alignment and balance correct. The Enfield location at least got the tires reasonably balanced but the alignment...well let's just say I ended up going to the dealer. 4 tries 2 locations enough is enough. Oh did I mention my tire warning light went off today? I took the wheel off and found a leak at the bead, the bead isn't seated correctly. Oddly the exact same thing happened last week to my wife's car after getting a snow tire change over done at the Westfield location. Looks like another trip which will extend my 12 hours already in their stores this month. Are they really experts? Seems like shoddy work at every location for me. STAY AWAY!!!! Stopped in looking for a new tire, and was met by Dave. He was great! Very patient and friendly. I got a decent deal on two new tires. He suggested I replace the pair per axle because my car is AWD. I paid ahead of time, and set up an installation time of 3:30. My car was taken almost exactly at 3:30. I was expecting at least a 60-90 minute wait. It only turned out to be 60. They have a nice waiting room with free WiFi and TV. They did everything I asked including saving one good tire, rotating back to front, and returned wheel lock key to where I put it. The reason for the four stars is I wasn't a fan of the $50 alignment that's only guaranteed for 30 days. For another 20 or 30 dollars I could go to Sears across the street and get a 6 month guarantee. The texting service updates is cool, but was off in timing. I got a text my car was ready while I was driving away. Again, I can't speak enough how great Dave was. read more
