I thought supporting a small floral business would have been a better option than the typical…read moreonline flower ordering. But apparently they couldn't even relay what was requested for the card to say. After calling back after the first time to add 1 more name I had forgotten on the card and asked Catherine if one more name would be okay and fit on the card she replied, "yes". Next day later and flowers show up for my grandmother with not one name on the card.

It was because of those positive, past experiences I chose to reach out to this florist for my wedding arrangements. I became engaged December 17th, 2017. I initially called the florist a few days later, but she told me to call back closer to the date. In April of 2018 we began messaging via email. Every time I spoke with the florist we had to start our conversation over again. She asked me to fill out the same paperwork several times. After the first few attempts to fill out and subsequently mail our paperwork she informed me it would be easier to mail the forms she was requesting. I mailed the forms. She didn't follow up, so I followed up with her. She then went over the forms with me, and insisted I drive into town for an in-person consultation. I live in Indiana, and I had to take a PTO weekend to drive down and make the consult happen. I cautioned her, stating I may be late depending on traffic, as my drive is long. She said, "That's fine, I'll block an hour of time for you." I said that sounded great. So tell me why the day of our consult I'm 15 minutes behind schedule. I text to let her know. She informs me, "You missed our appointment time, I've already left. You'll have to come back." Um. No. By this point we had been going back and forth for a YEAR trying to get some kind of order on the books and paid for, but again she was so disorganized we never really made any progress. Additionally, when I sent her photos via email of what I wanted she said, "We don't do that, but I'll show you what we have." I'm sorry, but if anyone is spending money on something, much less thousands of dollars, then the product or service should be exactly as requested. I never called her back, nor did I return her messages to reschedule. I created my own glass centerpieces, and I used synthetic flowers from Hobby Lobby which looked crazy real. Everyone mistook them for real flowers. All the ceremony, reception, and wedding party flowers only cost me $250. It was a cinch to make, and it turned out beautifully. Multiple people took home the centerpieces! Moral of the story: I want to shop local so badly, but when you offer poor customer service then I'm either doing it myself or shopping out of town. Don't blame others if you are unorganized and do not provide good services.
