Our house is on a steep hill surrounded by an old forest full of very tall trees. We hired Top Notch to take down some rotten and damaged trees close to the house. I would without a doubt highly recommend them!

We were told to " Get off our high horse" and that he " didnt tolerate attitude". Left the job unfinished and our front lawn in worse condition than before he started. This is a very angry, unstable, unpleasant man. He was supposed to do a sprinkler system, loam and hydroseeding. We got none of that for our $400 deposit. He scraped off what grass we did have, as he said we had " grubs", then refused to continue, saying we " attacked him" and plowed it back back on, and hand sprinkled some grass seed. We now are hiring an actual landscaper to repair the damage he did to our property. He actually tried to accuse us of " stealing his equipment" ( to install a sprinkler system) which he left here for 2 weeks. We, in fact, put it way out back so no one would walk off with it. We were scheduled for the week of May 15 to May 20th. Weather was fine that week. Middle of june we had nothing but a mud front lawn. Thank heaven we only lost $400.00. We did nothing wrong except ask this individual to let us know if he wasnt coming. My hubs was recovering from hip replacement surgery and had physical therapy appointment s which we changed to be here on property, which we always do when hiring workmen. That simple request enraged this unstable person enough that he left us in a mess. Be very, very careful if you decide to hire this person. He knows what he did and can spin this any way he wants to. Both he and we, know the truth.

They demolished around half our driveway (which was way too large and took over the yard), then brought in topsoil, grass seed and fertilizer. Then Jeff created a 16' across circle of granite rock for a fire pit and seating area in another section of our yard. There was an unexpected dry/heat spell after seeding the lawn, and as a second home I was not able to be there everyday to water. Jeff really cared and would water and keep an eye on everything while we were away. He also noticed a massive patch of poison ivy near the yard and sprayed which I am so thankful for because that would not have been fun! Will definitely be using for future projects!!

I left a message with Fullerton Landscaping, LLC who also does outdoor septic work. President Ben Fullerton called right back then came down that day to survey the work, provided me with an estimate then, realizing I had a real emergency on hand, moved me to the top of his list and arranged his schedule to match mine such that he could get started asap. Pretty amazing. To summarize, once he got underground, the job turned out to be bigger than he first thought, but he kept me apprised of exactly what was required. He had to sub out some electrical work, and once he got the bill from the electrician he felt it was too high. Rather than just silently pass it along to me, he went to bat and got it lowered to a more reasonable number. Again, pretty amazing. I can't recommend Ben and his company highly enough: Very prompt service, very reasonable cost and most important, high quality, professional results. What more could you ask? Oh, I know... he and his co-workers are just really nice, pleasant folks to deal with.
