Sean walked the job with me in the winter, with snow on the ground. He listened to my concerns regarding the trees, growth, and fallen limbs around my property, and then offered few additional suggestions. He and his crew came back for the tree removal in the early summer when things were much more filled in. He and his crew strategized regarding the removal of each tree, to avoid my house, wires, and other healthy trees. They used block and tackle to remove sections of larger trees for safe removal. They maximize the efficient use of some impressive equipment, including a bucket truck, and a chipper. Thursday morning Sean, Charlie, and Jay arrived at our house for two days of tree work. By the end of the day Friday the selected trees (plus several other hazardous trees identified along the way) were all down. The good wood was stacked in the yard for us to process into firewood, the excess wood was removed, the chips were distributed into places we wanted them, and the area was cleaned up. The guys worked very well together and answered our questions. While it was exciting, there was no chaos. Working safely meant no injuries or damages. Old school throw ball and climbing combined with very helpful equipment such as a small excavator, skid steer, chipper, dump trailer, and bucket truck made the work fast and efficient. Emerald Tree Services responded to our request for tree work, provided an estimate and timetable, and completed the work meeting both the estimate and timing. I first met Sean of Emerald Tree Experts in 2015 when he came to remove two trees that were too close to the power line supplying my house with electricity. He removed the trees, cut the log into stove lengths, and cleaned up the brush. I was impressed! We called Emerald Tree. Sean came and walked over our property with us, listened to our plans and gave us his opinions. A verbal estimate and approximate date of work was agreed upon. A firm date was later given and reconfirmed two weeks before work was done. On the work day Emerald arrived in the early morning. We walked over the property again with Sean to refresh what was to be done. We did add a few items and were told what that would add to the estimated cost. We appreciated this upfront clarification. I contacted Emerald Tree Expects for several large and potentially dangerous Pine Trees that were too close to my residence for removal. Mr. Lorway made quick arrangements to survey the situation. He quickly formulated a plan with an estimate and emailed it to me. He arranged to have his people onsite within a couple of days and they worked methodically with a crane to remove the hazards in one day. We had approximately 18 trees of varying sizes removed from around our house and driveway. It was amazing to watch the trees come down without causing any damage.
