I came in here with my father so he could get a scan. First thing I noticed was how busy the office was! The ladies at the front desk are so kind and I'd like to shout them out for that. My father noted that some other patients are very rude to them for things that aren't their fault after overhearing certain conversations. But not once did we hear any of the ladies give attitude or be rude back, which all goes back to training so kudos to whoever trained them. One more thing to note is that it takes a little bit to get noticed in order to check in; but it's understandable due to how busy it was! I hold nothing against them and as someone with experience working front office, it gets so hard to keep track of everything! Keep doing a great job ladies! read more

Last week I was scheduled for two MRIs back to back and Karen Mae was the MRI specialist giving me the test. During the start I had a severe panic attack and couldn't do it. She was so graceful and wonderful and did not make me feel ashamed or bad at all. She encouraged me to reschedule and get with my doctor to get something to help me through it. I reached out and got some Ativan and came back today. I made it through both MRIs like a champion. The best thing of all was that she walked me through the entire process by telling me how many minutes each film was. Before I knew it, it was all done. When I came out of the MRI room, the girls were waiting out there and had a sticker of a bunny they had picked out just for me. I felt so proud of myself as a 60-year-old woman who had had a severe panic attack to acing the test and going right through it. However, I could've never done it without her and the other girls there that were rooting me on the entire way. What a special group of people that work there what a special group of caring, loving young women. From the front desk staff to the girls in the back you're the best. read more

I was never offered a gown to get my abdominal CT scan done. I was wearing pants with a metal button. I informed the staff and he stated to bring them below my knees while on the table. I also informed him I was wearing a metal bra and also suggested I move my bra up while on the table. This was extremely uncomfortable as he's watching me do this holding the blanket over me and someone is watching me on the other side of the window. My husband had a knee MRI and was given privacy and a gown. I'm not sure why on my visit for an abdominal CT I was never offered one and was put through this uncomfortable vulnerable moment. read more

Zero stars. This review is a long time coming. Years! Called and on hold for hours with no answer. Request appt online and no one contacts me. This is continuous problem. Even in the past when I got through they say they don't have order even though I have confirmation of fax sent. You actually have to physically bring in order on paper just to be allowed to speak with a person to schedule. And they are so booked you could die before you get an appt. Per my insurance this is where I must go. Everyone who works at hospital reports the same problem. Unacceptable read more

I recently had a series of MRIs done at Tower Imaging, and I can't say enough good things about my experience -- especially thanks to Karen Mae, the MRI technologist. I'll admit, I came in feeling nervous. I'm a bigger guy and pretty claustrophobic, and the idea of being in an MRI machine had me really anxious. But Karen Mae was absolutely fabulous from the moment I walked in. She was so friendly, kind, and patient, and she really took the time to explain everything step by step. She reassured me, checked in on me constantly during the scan, and truly made me feel like I was being cared for as a person, not just another patient on the schedule. She went above and beyond to make me comfortable -- from helping me get settled to talking me through the process so I always knew what was happening. That made all the difference. I felt safe, supported, and surprisingly calm throughout the whole experience. If you're nervous about getting an MRI, especially if you're claustrophobic or worried about the process, I can't recommend Tower Imaging enough -- and if you get Karen Mae as your technologist, consider yourself in the best hands possible. She turned what could have been a really stressful experience into something so much easier than I ever expected. read more

Fellow MRI claustrophobics: Tower Imaging's team is excellent at alleviating any worries. If your doctor requires a "closed" MRI instead of an "open" one, you can make an appointment to have your MRI at Tower with what's called a "wide-bore" machine that has a much larger, 32-inch-circumference tunnel than normal. I found that machine on the Tower Imaging Valencia website and had my doctor send me there. Also, on the day of, Karen, the MRI technologist, offered to place a special mirror above my head. The mirror created a sense of open space by showing me the technology team's booth at the far end of the room instead of the top of the tunnel. This, plus a low-dose sedative pill prescribed by my doctor, prevented any feeling of claustrophobia. Karen was great in guiding me through the MRI and letting me know how long it would take. Also, a couple of weeks earlier, technologist Jennifer was outstanding at narrating every step of the process when I had a calcium CT scan. This leads me to believe the team at Tower emphasizes efforts to reassure patients. Every person I encountered on the phone or in person was helpful and understanding. That makes such a difference. read more

ridiculous to say the least. I came here from urgent care to get an x-ray on what the doctor suspected to be a fractured rib. I sat and waited over an hour to be seen by someone. I would understand the wait if there were an excess amount of people in the waiting room, however many people had came after me and were still seen before me. what's the point of waiting in line if we're just gonna skip around?? I asked the staff when I would be seen about 40 mins in and they told me only 20 more minutes...I waited 40 more to be seen. Staff did not care that I was waiting at all. One star is extremely generous. Don't come here unless you have all the time in the world. read more

The technicians are cheerful and efficient, but the front desk has a couple of problems. First, a woman came in accompanied by her young son who had a terrible cough. I am sure people with cancer and compromised immune systems visit an imaging facility, and the front desk desk should have asked the woman to put a mask on her son. Second, we gave them all the insurance cards and info. but a month later they billed us for the entire amount and the statement said they couldn't find the insurance information. read more

Service at the location was exceptional. HOWEVER, getting through on their call line is nearly impossible. Today I had 4 callers ahead of me and I was put on hold when it was my turn. I waited for 7-8 minutes more on hold and then was promptly disconnected. I called back... now 8 on hold before me. There has to be a better way. read more

From their front desk to their team in the back, Robin and Karen my visit was beyond amazing. I was limited on when I needed this MRI done and they came through with flying colors. The techs talked to me throughout and kept me calm the entire time, which was almost an hour. You guys are amazing courteous and if you have to have a procedure done then you really can't beat how great they are. The call line was amazing for me, I got through had to wait for a short time and they got right to me. I had even called a few days prior and got through after hours, I was shocked. I was at Tower Imaging and had been dreading my MRI because I struggle with pain while laying flat, and I have not experienced being in an MRI machine. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by a friendly receptionist named Maria who guided me through the paperwork. When all that was done, Karen the MRI technologist guided me through the next steps in preparation for the MRI. As soon as I laid down, the anxiety began setting in, but it was calmed by Karen's guidance and reassurance. I took a deep breath and into machine I went. Karen continued to check on me and update me as we moved through each phase. This was very helpful for me as it helped me pace through. In the machine I maintained deep breaths, mainly kept my eyes closed and mind distracted. Before I knew it, it was complete. I am very grateful for Maria, Karen, and Tower Imaging for supporting me through this challenge. I could not have asked for a better experience scheduling and going through the MRI. read more
