Sam Cohen, the store owner, tried to SCAM me. Isn't in the store on a Saturday and purchased two engagement rings. When I went to pick them up, one gemstone was chipped, and the other ring was completely different than the one I picked and already put a $3000 deposit for. He gave me the run around and made me pick two different stones. The next day he calls me and tells me that he made a mistake and if I want i can have the ring that i originally selected for $1000 extra dollars. I was livid and when I went in the store to get refunded on my deposit he admitted that he switched the ring on me. This is called bait and switch and it's illegal! Heed the warning and stay away! 8/4/2017 - Took my lunch hour to change the battery in one of my watches. After being buzzed in I was immediately greeted by Sam, the owner. I told him I needed a new battery for my watch. He looked at my watch and asked if I was ok with the links. He put the watch on me and said he recommends I leave it as is. He gave my watch to a gentleman in the back and preceded to talk to me about watches. Not even 5 minutes go by and the gentleman from the back hands me my watch. It was only $10. GREAT SERVICE! Sam is a scam artist when it comes to pricing his work fairly. He over charges and you can not trust him or his practices. He will not listen to you about the pricing and argues the customer is wrong on what was agreed to. What a piece of shit he is. I was like where is my band. He said he threw it out it was broken I needed a new one. Then he starts getting an attitude with me like I did something wrong. I normally try not to say anything about anyone unless it's polite but he was very arrogant and treated me like I was some pauper off the street when I told him I had a $300-$400 budget for a necklace. This place is great! I live near them and just hopped in one day while shopping. I was looking for wedding bands and wanted to have my engagement ring cleaned and tightened. They were wonderful! The owner is very, very sweet. He took the time to explain to me different things about diamonds, how to purchase and care for them. Their staff is also great! Of course my husband and I waited till the last minute to get a wedding band. So we went a few weeks before our wedding and found one here and bought it. They resized it and even resized my engagement ring bc I lost weight. We got married 2/6/21 and before we even made it a week of being married the band that we bought from here was discolored in one area and turning my finger color. So my husband brought it back and they said it just needed to be redipped since it's white gold. Ok no problem they redip it we pick it up a few days later it's back to turning back to yellow gold. We bring it back he says they didn't dip it right so they redip it again. We pick it up, looks good and a few days later it's turning yellow again. He brings it back and they said they don't know what's wrong and why it keeps doing that but they will re dip it and re dip my engagement ring so they are both freshly dipped (my 3 year old engagement ring didn't need it but my husband figured they'd be on the same schedule now). He picked them up not too long ago and they are both now turning yellow. I've had my engagement ring for 3 years and it was in perfect condition. Now it's turning back to yellow gold and I'm going to take it (and the band I bought from this place) to the place where I got the engagement ring from and have them dip it. The owner of this store is a crook, all the 'perfect' 5 star ratings on his 'Sam Cohen' yelp review are bought. My gf and I tried returning a watch we found out was used and discontinued which he advertised was brand new and with a markup price of almost 400%. I can't even get $50 for this 'luxury' watch. When confronting the man, he said he was going to call the cops and remove my gf from the store which was so aggressive and indicative of this man's poor professionalism; only thieves behave this way. This man over charged for a watch that is sold for $330 online and in world wide store like Zales, Kay jewelers and others, while he charges $500. He refused to do any kind of refund and yelled at me in the store. When I waited for him to calm down he told me to leave and threatened that he would call the police. I have worked in jewelry before and I'm not new to any of these tactics to upsell. Horrible customer service, the man was extremely rude to me when i dropped my watch off for the band to be repaired after an accident tgey left my watch band in four pieces. It was 10$ I had brought the watch in before for repairs and so when i walked back in because the new pins failed he immediately got an attitude, ive had this watch for a few years and the original pins went through a lot before finally breaking. His pins are substandard in my opinion. While yelling at me about the watch he finally admitted that the pins should be replaced for free and so i actually offered him 10 dollars as before because i believe people deserve to get paid even if he was being rude. And he said ok thank you. When I went to go pick up the watch is when things got really bad because he gave me the watch back and first only one side of the bins bins had been replaced and they weren't even all the way in if the pain was still hanging out so I asked if you could have this Jeweler go push the pin in really quick and his wife came and took it back and the Jeweller push the pin in then I inspected it again and noticed that the other pin was never replaced even though it was also bent and we had agreed I'm replacing both pins when I dropped it off and then the owner came out and started yelling at me again that now he's going to charge me another $10 to replace the second pin when it was a quarter of the amount of work that I had done a week before and he only charged me $10. The money isn't even the point it was the principle that he was trying to take me for more money when he was originally going to do the work for free and I offered him money to compensate him to get it done in the original amount that he charged me the first time he repaired it this is unacceptable and unfortunate because we are new to town my wife and I and we're looking for a place to buy her a two carat centerpiece ring for our anniversary but I will not be bringing my business here or anyone else's business because I don't want anybody else to be treated the way he treated me. read more

I was shopping in the nearby stores and while I was walking from one store to the other, I passed by the window of Tower Jewelry. I couldn't help but notice some of the unique pieces of jewelry.
