He told me that he videos people getting on the train, which made me feel very uncomfortable and he makes up his own prices to get your car out regardless of what is on the sign. I would give this 0 stars if possible. They essentially stole my car from near the train station right after I got on the train to go to work and then they held it hostage until the next day. They forced me to pay $950 CASH to get it back the next day. They were so rude. They also were not even there when I showed up at 9:00 AM (which is part of their posted "business" hours and they told me to come at 9 AM). So after a few phone calls they finally showed up 15 minutes later. The place was FILTHY inside. Their "business practices" are totally ILLEGAL. They are supposed to allow you to pay with other forms of payment, not just cash. There are also limits on what they can charge you but of course they do not abide by these laws. What are you going to do when they hold it hostage and say "the longer you take to pick it up, the price only continues to rise." I am not familiar with the area living out of state. I was told by the people sitting under the store sign that within 2 minutes the owner of Tow Squad towed the Avis rental car. He wanted $500 cash. I told him I didn't have it and he said the car I was driving was a $40,000 car, I told him it was a rental. He didn't care, he insisted that I walk across the street to Bank of America and get cash. The police were called as I was extremely upset, and felt like I was going to vomit. I called Avis, and they told me it was a corporate policy not to pay. I just had my ford taurus towed from my house to Midas. They came fairly quick 30 minutes and was very professional. I believe the driver was named "Justin" big guy! He had my car hooked up and strapped to his truck within 10 minutes. Took me 5 blocks to Midas safe and sound. THIS SERVICE SUCKS!! My car was towed today from a vacant lot outside the EMERGENCY ROOM at Bryn Mawr Hospital, where I had just dropped off my friend. I had not realized this lot was private, and after 30 minutes of hospital stay I realized my car had been towed. I called the number posted and the man who answered the phone was EXTREMELY RUDE. This was at 2:30 and he told me I needed to find a ride and 250 dollars cash and get to upper darby (40 minutes away) by 4:00 sharp on Friday. With philly traffic, I realized I would be cutting it close. At 3:55 I called to notify him I was 10 minutes away and would be 5 minutes late. He RUDELY told me he had already locked the doors and could not let me in even though they were supposedly open for 5 more minutes. I asked him to please stay until 4:05 and he told me he could do so if I was willing to pay the "50 dollar waiting fee." Must be nice to make 500$ an hour.
