They're now in partnership with Giants on Baltimore Ave across from Macdonald's and they towed my vehicle today. They charged me $500 cash. I went right back because I suspected something wasn't right. I sat in my car and witnessed their operation and how they prey on Giant customer totally unaware of the new changes. He told me that he videos people getting on the train, which made me feel very uncomfortable and he makes up his own prices to get your car out regardless of what is on the sign. Absolutely a disgrace. There was construction and all parking lots for the train were blocked off with cones. I parked in a lot with over 900 empty spots . When I came back from work my car was gone , when I called, the guy was so rude and disrespectful- I asked for the manager, he replied "I'm the manager" so I asked okay well who is your boss? He replies "I'm the boss" so I asked okay well... you don't report to anyone? He then hangs up on me. I call back and he said it's $500 cash only and they close soon and if I don't get my car they will charge another 150$ for an extra day. They are not associated with SEPTA or the owners of the parking lot. They're a private company with a bunch of assholes and I've never experienced such rude and unprofessional service in my entire life. These people are thieves, they sit there and spy on you... watch you board the train then tow your car within minutes. I was gone for 3 hours. And when I came back there was still hundreds of empty spots AND 3 other people got off the same train and got in their cars that were NOT towed. I would give this 0 stars if possible. They essentially stole my car from near the train station right after I got on the train to go to work and then they held it hostage until the next day. They forced me to pay $950 CASH to get it back the next day. They were so rude. They also were not even there when I showed up at 9:00 AM (which is part of their posted "business" hours and they told me to come at 9 AM). So after a few phone calls they finally showed up 15 minutes later. The place was FILTHY inside. Their "business practices" are totally ILLEGAL. They are supposed to allow you to pay with other forms of payment, not just cash. There are also limits on what they can charge you but of course they do not abide by these laws. What are you going to do when they hold it hostage and say "the longer you take to pick it up, the price only continues to rise." I plan to report this to the Attorney General and my congressperson and anyone else that will listen because they are violating so many towing laws in Pennsylvania. My belongings were in the car and the Tow Squad told me I could not have my belongings unless I paid $500 cash. I started to have chest pains and started sobbing. The RUDE employee was waiting for me in his car, gave me his card, and told me I needed to bring $375 IN CASH to Upper Darby (30 min away from me) AND I couldn't pick it up that night, so I have to wait until the next day. I just had my ford taurus towed from my house to Midas. They came fairly quick 30 minutes and was very professional. I believe the driver was named "Justin" big guy! He had my car hooked up and strapped to his truck within 10 minutes. Took me 5 blocks to Midas safe and sound. THIS SERVICE SUCKS!! My car was towed today from a vacant lot outside the EMERGENCY ROOM at Bryn Mawr Hospital, where I had just dropped off my friend. I had not realized this lot was private, and after 30 minutes of hospital stay I realized my car had been towed. I called the number posted and the man who answered the phone was EXTREMELY RUDE. This was at 2:30 and he told me I needed to find a ride and 250 dollars cash and get to upper darby (40 minutes away) by 4:00 sharp on Friday. With philly traffic, I realized I would be cutting it close. At 3:55 I called to notify him I was 10 minutes away and would be 5 minutes late. He RUDELY told me he had already locked the doors and could not let me in even though they were supposedly open for 5 more minutes. I asked him to please stay until 4:05 and he told me he could do so if I was willing to pay the "50 dollar waiting fee." Must be nice to make 500$ an hour. I would not recommend this place to anyone!! I came to PA for the weekend from CT not aware of the area. We parked in a parking lot nearby and walked away from the car not even an hour. When we came back the car was towed. The cop in the parking lot was telling us how much of scum bags this company is- they sit around and wait for people to walk away from their car so they can tow you. To then charge $250.
