The tree is located on a hillside along the side of our home and somewhat difficult to access. Matt and his son, Eric, were extremely professional and showcased their expertise as they accessed the area with their equipment and carefully removed branches without any damage to our home. The crew showed up a little while after and worked quickly and safely to bring the trees down, and took good care of my property and were very careful. The crew are wonderful and talented at what they do. They also gave me a very reasonable quote to remove a few more dead trees on my property that would've fallen soon too, and will come back soon to remove all the stumps. Highly recommend!

But he told us that he wanted to cut a tree down for the power company. It didn't need to come down since it wasn't going to get any taller but we agreed anyway. We were reluctant because we didn't want to be left with a stump and the tree still produced pears. He said he would make sure it was level so we can mow over it so we agreed to it. We didn't want to be unreasonable or rude so we worked with him. As you can see that's not the case. I was left with a stump that I can't mow over. They also went onto my property a few weeks later without notifying me and started spraying and cutting my shrubs. All of which has been there for years. When we questioned them they said it was also for the power company. As you can see they killed everything. The sliced the bottoms of my shrubs and sprayed them. They wouldn't tell me if the spray is safe for kids or pets to be around so we immediately told them to leave. Unfortunately by this time the damage was done. Never would I call them to do any work for me nor would I recommend them.

His cost is included in your cost of the pool and then will up charge for everything once he comes to see you. He has no customer service skills and has many complaints. Valley Pool will do nothing to rectify your complaints because he is a subcontractor to them and they already have your money. I'd love to hear from more people that have had issues with them because they shouldn't be allowed to do business. When B & T first came out we had just got a tree taken down and he said when we got the stump ground down to "really grind it down". We called Murphys tree service and I explained the situation. Roger, the owner said he's done root removal for pools for years and he didn't need to talk to Martin, he knew what he was doing. When B&t came out to excavate I knew the first so many inches was free and after excavating they called me for another $700. I paid it because when the excavator left he said everything was good to go and the following week the installer would be out. When I got home from work at lunchtime it was obvious the guy had been there because the patio stones were placed but he wasn't there. I called to find out what was going on and Martin said that we didn't have the roots ground down enough and we'd have to get it fixed before they came back out. When I called the tree service he came right out and said they dug too deep. B&T disagreed so I called two other installers who said the same thing. So I went back to valley thinking they'd want us to be happy with them and they pretty much told us to go away. They gave us our money back and we paid twice what we did for B&t. the new installer would have had the sand and stone delivered themselves and hauled the dirt away from the excavation that B &T didn't provide. They also charged us an extra $170 for the upgraded liner which I was told was easier to install than a cheaper one and shouldnt have been a higher charge. Martins company is the worst I've ever dealt with and valley sucks.

When I called your company this morning, I was met by a man with a belligerent tone and told my request wasn't worth his time. When I tried to explain my situation (an irresponsible driver hit my lawn and took out a tree and three shrubs) I was rudely interrupted and told, "you're just looking money. I'm going to say a hard pass on your request," and hung up on me. Unprofessional and repugnant behavior. Do better BJ Tree Service and train people how to triage a call. The estimator came at the appointed time, walked the property with us and made note of what we wanted. The estimate was provided via text & email before he pulled out of our driveway. Accepting the estimate and paying the deposit couldn't have been easier. The 4 guys who came to do the work shortly thereafter walked the property with us and were careful to understand exactly what we wanted. They were knowledgeable and professional. Everything was done as we wanted, and they checked in with us during the process to make sure we were satisfied. They cleaned everything up well. Will definitely call BJ Tree Service in a few years to repeat this process.
