We hired all metro health care a few years ago when my beautiful wife was disabled with cancer…read more They were hired for overnights when I couldn't be there. All metro "home health aides" ... Went through her dresser drawers and stole over $200 in cash while she was sleeping. Stole non-sequential blank checks from different books and tried to cash them later. Stole half of her pain medication out of the bottle - that she desperately needed to control her pain. I had to report this to the NYS health department- and they launched a separate investigation. When I called them to ask how the investigation was going, I was told they "couldn't comment" on it. Stole a brand new - New Wave Oven right out of the box - a Christmas present my wife bought for me that year. They left the empty box and I found out later the health aide's boyfriend came to the door around midnight and brought it to their apartment. Before I left one afternoon, I told the aide my Wife was unsteady and asked her not to leave her alone and help her wherever she went. A couple hours later the aide called and said my Wife fell in the bathroom and "a bone was sticking out of her wrist". She asked what I wanted to do and I said to call the ambulance. My Wife needed surgery the next day to rebuild her wrist with a plate. If you ever think of hiring this company --- DON'T! I cannot believe they are still in business. Only in New York State I guess. Believe the other reviews…read more This place is often unprofessional always trying to unload responsibility onto customers (as if they shouldn't be expected to be trained, responsible experts). They seem to believe that people who need life-saving meds need to be chasing after the status of their prescription as a matter of standard practice, rather than be reliable/responsible for properly informing people... Not impressed. I talked to a manager who was even more rude than the pharmacist I was calling to complain about- and she hung up on me after claiming she 'appreciated my feedback' when I complained about not getting meds, not knowing why, and needing to do a bunch of stuff because THEY were changing their delivery system, and had a bad attitude about it. I was with them for over 3 years, and they showed no concern for treating me like I was crazy for wanting them to care about their job, and maybe do it in a way that didn't deprive me of my scripts, nor cause me extra work. Their time is way too valuable to consider their customers situation. They are literally tone deaf to the reality of serving people who are injures/disabled... I used to get my meds delivered, and THAT GUY was cool, so I never realized how messed up the rest of the operation was for the most part (though walk-ins were always hit or miss- so I guess I should have known better). So I'll be switching ASAP. If you pick them, 'Good luck'- but I think it's just a matter of time before they show you how little they care about their customers. Their policies are not good- but to not even pretend to 'trick' customers with a fake smile/false professionalism (the minimum many places offer nowadays)?... well, I guess you should be happy they are up front about not really caring? Believe in that when they show it to you. On the off chance you do get someone 'nice'- know their policies are still 'basic'- so other than a smile, you'll never get more than the bare minimum. Oh- they just changed their delivery system (6/2025- for all of Syracuse- probably more), and didn't actually bother to inform anyone. So many people just suddenly got 'Final pick up' warnings if they signed up for texts (and I assume nothing if they didn't). So if you were outside of your pharmacies newly determined delivery area, you just suddenly stopped getting meds. Running your business in a way where you want change things, and 'coincidentally' happen to deprive people of their life saving meds with no notice... yeah, that's reassuring.... So many other places offer better service by just doing the actual 'basics' of making sure people are treated well and get their scripts in a timely fashion (and a few do free delivery too)- so there's little reason to go here.

Busy store but they have a solid delivery system and help get meds ready fast after leaving the…read morehospital.
