My mother is 100 years old, has dymentia and resides in a nursing home. My siblings and I live over 100 miles from our mother. As we are older ourselves, it is difficult to travel to visit her, and observe her care. We were very concerned that we are not able to do so on a regular basis. We contacted Touching Hearts in New London to see if they could assist us with our concerns. We are so grateful we did! They continually help us in understanding dymentia as it affects our mother. They also found the perfect companion for our mom! She is an older woman who is full of energy, spiritedness, and compassion who visits our mom twice a week. She sends reports to T.H. each week, and they, in turn, pass that information on to my family. I feel Touching Hearts is walking with us on this journey with our mother. We have no complaints and are completely satisfied with our relationship with Touching Hearts. Thank you to all of the staff we have worked with at Touching Hearts in New London! read more

Established in 1996.

Touching Hearts at Home is a non-medical home care company that began in St. Paul/Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1996. We see the opportunity to provide caregiving services to seniors as a privilege that must be met with great integrity, always putting empathy and the belief in the dignity of all people at the forefront of our work. This philosophy originated from the natural compassion of Touching Hearts' founder Renae Peterson, who received such a strong example of caring, kindness and concern from her mother, Melvina Peterson, that it continues to fuel her passion in our work to this day, and that we refer to as our legacy of love. The need for care and companionship has grown dramatically in recent years as needs continue to rise, and Renae & her staff responded in 2007 by expanding through a network of franchised offices nationwide.
