Thank goodness for patient and kind employees at this ABC location. I asked if they could hold the items for a few hours or less until I return with my wallet. They did and had the items bagged. Each sales person I encountered was helpful. One sale person helped me pick out the items I needed because I didn't know much about liquor. I just knew what items I needed from a list I carried with me. This employee also gave me suggestions with explanations when they saw what items I needed. This store appeared organized and clean. The cashier informs me that we both have to show our id's or she can not let me complete this order. Since when in any liquor store has it been a policy for the person not making the purchase have to show id? This is what they decided to run with. Mind you, this is not my first time shopping there or any other abc. This is a first for me. The manager decided to stand by his cashier meanwhile the (hate to say it but I will) but, the white guy who checked out before me showed no id at all. Take that how you would like to. As a shopper you are the only one that needs to show any id, and that's across America. Shop there if you wish, but I refuse to shop there as a Instacart shopper nor as a regular customer.
