Im primarily a Cigar customer at ABC and I find the staff at Cesery to always be professional and helpful. The negatives reviews citing issues with accompanying minors or persons being ID'ed is pure ignorance. If you're at the register, FLA Law requires being ID'ed. read more

I was in the store yesterday. I was only in the store to help my disabled mother. She had recently fallen that morning and with her disability she needed physical help with some of her task since she was on crutches. (I've been in before to help her when she needed it.) When it was time to check out the cashier paid no attention to my mom and asks for my ID. I'm sorry but I'm not going to say my mother is obviously disabled because that is rude but he paid no attention to someone who was in crutches. I clarified that I'm not partaking in any on the alcohol that was in the cart but he proceeded to interrupt me and my mom about showing my ID. I get every store has a policy but if you can't be a real human being and piece together that I'm assisting disabled person that's just dumb. I'm 20 years old, I'm not a child. I've never yelled at someone in my life out in public but I had to in order to knock some sense into in man. He told me I was not allowed to touch the alcohol, so I didn't. By doing that my mother had to carry heavy bottles on the counter while also being in crutches. He proceeded to be very dry after we both yelled in his face that she needs help and that I needed to help her. After he did offer to help since I was unable to touch any of the alcohol but he gave attitude the whole time. Never had this experience before. We will never be going there again. What's your most embarrassing liquor store experience? I'll start! After gathering all of the items I needed for a virtual cocktail class, I made it to the register and realized my wallet was still on the counter.... at home. Ha ha! Thank goodness for patient and kind employees at this ABC location. I asked if they could hold the items for a few hours or less until I return with my wallet. They did and had the items bagged. Each sales person I encountered was helpful. One sale person helped me pick out the items I needed because I didn't know much about liquor. I just knew what items I needed from a list I carried with me. This employee also gave me suggestions with explanations when they saw what items I needed. This store appeared organized and clean. They're also participating social distancing. Kudos! read more

I received a Instacart batch to pick up today at this location on Cesery. My daughter was helping me out today. We get to the register to check out. The cashier informs me that we both have to show our id's or she can not let me complete this order. Since when in any liquor store has it been a policy for the person not making the purchase have to show id? This is what they decided to run with. Mind you, this is not my first time shopping there or any other abc. This is a first for me. The manager decided to stand by his cashier meanwhile the (hate to say it but I will) but, the white guy who checked out before me showed no id at all. Take that how you would like to. As a shopper you are the only one that needs to show any id, and that's across America. Shop there if you wish, but I refuse to shop there as a Instacart shopper nor as a regular customer. read more

There was a man greeting every customer as they came in today. I don't drink very much at all and don't come here very often, but his "greeting" made me feel at ease. They move the Tequila and He helped me find it. They also moved the mixers and the Tequila Rose as well. He helped me with that as well. The Lady Cashier was very helpful and patient as I quickly picked out three small bottles of Fireballs. The check out line was long, but they had three Cashiers checking us out, so the wait was not long. I loved looking at all of the gift packages that would be nice to give to someone for Christmas. read more

False advertising and poor customer service. I bought two bottles of vodka because a sign said buy 2 get $6.00 off. when I got in the car I looked at my receipt didn't get $6.00 off. Went back into the store waited in line showed the cashier. I verified the sign was for the product I purchased. Another employee removed the sign and discarded it. I was told they would not honor the advertised price. I was contacted by customer service and told we apologize but we are not going to honor a sign that should have been removed by the vender. I went there to purchase my usual in between paycheck bottle of Popov. An employee saw me grab the bottle and recommended me a bottle of Northern Peak vodka. He claimed it was far better for only a dollar more. He was absolutely right. A very knowledgeable staff and great customer service. read more

This is a very ghetto ABC Fine Wine & Spirits. I went there to make a simple purchase on Valentine's Day and ended up waiting in line behind a transaction that took almost fifteen minutes. The clerk and the customer looked equally confused about what was being sold or bought. Instead of waiting any longer, I chose to leave my wine at the store and made a conscious decision to no longer shop at a place that is so disorganized and oblivious. It's your typical ABC. Weekly specials, cheap to smoke able cigars. Customer service is Great, prices are better than most places. Only 3 miles down the road. Regular customer and never had a problem being 23. Only place I buy my alcohol from in Arlington. read more
