Decent place, sure has it's usual 'pan handlers' that loiter outside of store during certain hours,…read morebut usually not to aggressive. But the main thing you got to watch out for, particularly if 'B', is excessive fictitious 'TAX' on your purchase. The people who run this store are from the middle East, Syria, who were considered 'Aryan', centuries ago, is why Hitler and his 3rd Reich found a welcoming home and allies in that part of the world during WW2 (study history). As such, if 'B', they do tend to hold their noses up to you, and assume you're dumb, can't add or count, and will try to 'rip you off' by adding exorbitant taxes to your purchase, as much as 30% or higher. They figure whatever card you have 'They must of stole', or they figure 'They're 'B', must be on welfare, so what do they care what we charge them'...and so forth. I've been the recipient of this mind set a few times, but once you let them know (usually the younger males) that you're not some TV or media version of 'B', they straiten up. All in all a decent store...just be sure to check your receipt extra close if 'B' or thought to be, cause they will try you initially. The women there are great, it's rather the younger, light skin males, fresh from Syria, you've gotta watch at times.

Definitely not the largest of liquor stores. I think about 20 of these would fit inside the huge…read moreABC down the street. Prices are decent though and we tend to get the same "normal" things. If we're looking for different or if we want to browse, then we do go to the ABC down the street. I mainly stop here when I don't feel like getting out of the car because they have a drive-thru and that is extremely convenient for me.

We came here on a whim Sunday at about 10pm because we had nothing to do and were already drunk…read more The bartender is amazing, the drinks were good and stiff so I tipped big time (I blame the liquor). Uhmm, the women's restroom/stripper changing room was really foul! It didn't stink, but there were only two stalls and one of them was occupied by bags of clothes and accessories I'm assuming. The other stall was dirty so the first time I pulled out disinfecting wipes, but the other times we left and went to McDonald's to do our business. Sad, I know. There are some sweet girls there though, I gave it two stars for the bartender alone and because we were so wasted that we really did have fun. If you like raunchy, ratchet and any other word that could be affiliated with those two then come on by. No pun intended to anyone, I like a little ratchet fun at times! Happy Yelping...

This one…read moreseems to have been around for a a while though and it is in a somewhat economically challenged area. They have a good amount of products and the prices are quite reasonable. Most of the time you are going to find brands that you never heard of. I've visited on a Sunday around 11:15 AM which is right when or slightly before the church people start shopping. There was one person working check out and another person restocking the meat department and a third person who was kind of milling around back-and-forth in the office. They had an advertised special for boneless pork sirloin but they didn't have any out so I asked the meat person about it and he was very nice and friendly. They didn't have it so he went in the back and cut it for me. It did take him a while but it was completely fresh so I think it's worth it. They had most of the items in their sale flyer but not all of them available. Checking out was a hassle, there was eight or nine different people in line the entire time I was there and at one point Nother person came out to help get the line down then that guy went right back in the office and the line built right back up again. I called them from my cell phone from the line and ask him to come back out which he somewhat grudgingly did. All in all the staff was friendly and they try hard to keep the place clean but it is a discount food store so don't expect it to be nice.
