ZERO STARS!!! My younger sister had her wedding here 08/20/22 and literally the day of rehearsal,…read morewe were told by the owner that we would get the whole day to set up and rehearse but they had people coming in and out during our rehearsal, taking pictures of my sisters engagement pictures and the set up. It was truly unprofessional, rude, and annoying! The DAY OF the wedding, the worker/coordinator from the venue, this blonde lady, had another party come in and she asked one of the bridesmaids when we would be done doing our last minute set up bc the otparty wanted to rehearse like REALLY!?!?!?! Rude and unprofessional. The worker had the audacity to ask us not to put the petals on the side of the aisle because the other party didn't want it there. My sister paid for the venue to be used for a whole day and we did NOT Get THAT. My sister's now husband, also emailed the owner about the inconveniences and unprofessional behaviors of the staff at the venue and they never received a response. It has been exactly 1 week now. If you're thinking about renting this venue for your event, expect the owner and workers to be unprofessional and rude. It's all about the money they get for this place. Expect double bookings and other people coming in and out while you're trying to set up, rehearse, and expect others to come in THE DAY OF your wedding, asking when they can rehearse. This place in simple words, sucks.

I never knew this…read moreplace was here and I've traveled through Lawrenceville several times and never knew it was here. From what I'm told they host several parties, weddings, dinners, etc throughout the year. What caught my eye was the rustic door and iron trimmings . The white/grey brick walls are beautiful. Beautiful rustic chandeliers and candles throughout the venue. The sitting area is like a living room :) nice chairs, tables, lamps, pictures, etc.... There are several tables/chairs outside for guests. The parking lot holds about 80 cars. The reason it's called 550 Trackside is bc the train runs right next to it:). At the time of the wedding no trains were on the track. I'm not certain if they have caterers on site but the caterer that prepared the food was awesome! He prepared stuffed fish with shrimp/spinach/peppers/onions. Delicious!!! The yellow rice was perfectly seasoned and fluffy. The Mac & cheese was delicious - 3 cheeses! I didn't try the grilled chicken but I'm told it was good. I'm considering having my birthday party here:). If you're in the area or just looking for a nice reasonable venue check them out.

After recieving full payment she further re-wrote the contract to state if I cant do this then it will not be provided. All of this happened 2 days before the event. When I simply stated, what you are trying to provide us was never discussed and never agreed upon she had the audacity to call me and yell at me for stressing her out? Im stressing her out? or is she stressing the bride out by calling and changing things 2 days prior ? She has no manners and is always running late. decor was supposed to be done by 3pm, she was still doing it until 6pm despite having access to the ballroom the entire day before the event. Every meeting she was an hour late and we waited outside her office for an hour and then blames me (the bride) for her being late! Despite me calling her to confirm appointments the day of, texting her when I was an hour away as well. She did not deliver what we discussed and honestly TAKE it from the BRIDE!!! DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT hire her. She is not worth the headache or stress. She is money hungry and the worst person I know in the wedding industry. Also, my coordinator at the hotel informed me that the other family she has an event for the following weekend is stressed out from her. My friend also stated that she had a huge problem with her and her mom and the Yasmine were fighting the day of the wedding due to Yasmine failing to provide what they discussed.

They not only provided us with wonderful stage setups for all our events (maayun/manja, mehndi, shaadi), they also provided us plenty of props/accessories/extra decor for our every need! Could not have asked for anything better. Our guests enjoyed our events immensely and commented on how amazing everything looked as well. Yasmeen is so easy to work with, and gives so much importance to your vision and needs. I recommend this company to anyone looking for a great decorator and team!

This is an Affordable and Attractive venue with an Attentive coordinator!…read moreMy daughter had her reception here and while you may find other venues that are lovely they will all be missing the "Gerise Factor! " - She was upfront and honest on pricing. - She took our needs for a totally gluten and dairy free menu VERY seriously and it was delicious. - She answered emails and phone calls promptly and allowed multiple visits to the venue to visualize and try out items in the space. - Other vendors raved about her and the culture of the venue as well. We had around 170 guest. We filled up the ballroom but with the space of the house and the beautiful yard and patio people had plenty of places to mingle and visit. 173 Carlyle is a great value and much of that value is because of Gerise! It was great to know we could depend on her.

And by blindly I mean - we didn't have…read morea chance to taste the food beforehand, we liked what we saw on the tour but it wasn't set up for a wedding, rather a holiday party, and at the venue-booking stage of the planning I had absolutely NO CLUE how wedding crazy I would become in the following 6 months of planning. You see, I'd planned to have a simple wedding. I didn't care about all of the frills (at first). I just wanted good food, good drinks and the people we care most about in attendance. And Carlyle House made everything easy. They could customize my linens, we had a great choice of food and they were willing to let me bring in my own cupcakes. Add all that to the super cute old house that has an add-on ballroom and I was sold at first glance. Gerise - the on-site planner - was awesome. I never felt like she wanted to kill me after I would send her one of hundreds of emails with questions as I worked my way into becoming a minor bridezilla. She choreographed the rehearsal perfectly and was even better on our wedding day. She made me not regret hiring a wedding planner because she seriously did it all for us. In the end, I did turn into the bride I never dreamed I would be - personalized aisle runner, flowers I never wanted, a candy buffet and cute little signs I thought I could DIY and ended up hiring out. And even though my then-fiancé made the mistake of actually calling me BrideZilla a few times (he obviously has never seen the show with the REAL bridezillas), our wedding was absolutely PERFECT. Even my always-disapproving-of-everything mother-in-law loved it. And that's more than any praise I can give anything in this world. The food was great - better than we expected. The drinks were great. The night was great. And we are now Mr. & Mrs. Kim. That is sooo great!

It's kind of a misleading name because Wendy and Amber met with us a couple times before the wedding weekend, and were always available via phone or text for questions. They scheduled out everything and made sure we had everything we needed. Wendy ran the rehearsal the day before and gave very clear directions and assured everyone knew where they were supposed to be, at what time. On the day of the wedding, Amber and Alyssa were the backbone of it all!! Instead of me running around, dealing with vendors, directing the wedding party, helping the guys with their boutonnières and bustling my daughter's wedding dress.. they did it all!! They were amazing! Always easy to find and no hesitation to help us solve any problems. The wedding was held at our house, so there were multiple locations on our property where things were happening, but they were like ninjas and always seemed to be exactly where they were needed! They even helped clean up at the end of the night and made sure all of the vendors were taken care of!! I can't recommend this service enough!! Thank you Wendy, Amber, and Alyssa!!

One of the biggest things was my oldest's high school graduation party. All I knew is that I wanted to have this at our house and a 150+ people were coming. After our first meeting, I had a huge weight off my shoulders knowing we had a plan and things were already set in place. The setting up of the graduation party was very easy and not stressful at all. Because of Wendy and Wendy's Wedding & Events we were able to sit back, relax and enjoy the graduation party ourselves.
