The fries are alright kinda small with no so many of them. They did have good kinds of ketchup like pepper ketchup and jalapeño ketchup. Also good hot sauces like chipotle, jalapeño and habanero. The salad is literally a piece of lettuce, a tomato, onion and two pickles but they are for your burgers not a real salad. You also get 4 pieces of bread with a good garlic sauce and like 10 olives which was nice. I ordered the Country Burger which is a basic burger with bacon, Canadian bacon and a sunny side up egg. I thought this sounded really good but also the other burger choices were a little boring typical American burgers. The Country Burger was good but quite greasy. The Canadian bacon was no good at all so I didn't eat it. But the burger had good taste but it was missing something. All that for 11.50€

The ribs was a good portion but the chicken wings were all too small (12 pieces as also written on the menu). The taste was just okey. The barbeque sauce saved the dish, but for people who do not like the said sauce -- do NOT order this & this is not for you. My husband ordered a burger for himself, but he was left disappointed. The portion is okey but there is nothing special about the taste. Sadly, he felt he can do a better burger at home. For their pricey menu, we expected more. The service was just okey until we wanted to pay the bill. The waitress totally forgot us! As we waited, we recognize the family table sitting next to us already finish their meal when one of the order finally arrived (it was a burger). The family by this time refuse it. Sorry, but for someone just visiting the city, we do not see ourselves coming back to this restaurant in the near future.

Ambiance (3.5/5): Harry's New York Bar is located in a hotel, though the bar has its own entrance, too. Think of it as an elegant hotel bar. Comfortable seating. Spacious. Along with a long bar which has some bar seating as well. So why not a higher rating for their ambiance? Well, this is pretty wild but there was a rat walking around while we were there. We told the bartender about it, but he didn't seem too concerned with the situation. I sure hope rats are not frequent guests here! Service (4/5): Outside of the rat situation, our bartender did a good job. Service in Europe doesn't tend to be terribly attentive, friendly, or efficient. And in Germany, they will often kick you out right when it's closing time. Not the case here. The bartender let us stay for a good while after they closed. Which I always appreciate. They even give you some snacks to munch on with your cocktail. That was a nice touch. Food (N/A): Outside of the complimentary snacks, we had dinner prior so I was on a liquid diet. Drinks (4.5/5): You would think that Harry's New York Bar is an American bar given the name. That's what I thought initially. I was wrong. Harry was a famous bartender in the U.K. who invented several famous cocktails. So that's what you should have here. They have a solid list of craft cocktails, many of them with an interesting blend of flavors and ingredients. I was happy with mine, though you will pay a premium here since it's a hotel bar. Harry's New York Bar has locations across the world. I was happy to check out my very first one in Cologne.
