Without delving into details, my injuries have resulted in skeletal, muscular, and nerve damage that's pretty much left me struggling with mobility issues and chronic pain. I've gone the full gambit of care, including multiple surgeries, various physical therapy modalities, chiropractic, acupuncture, acupressure, massage therapy, and just about any modality that could give me some relief. The only thing I've found to help reduce and/or manage the pain when experiencing flare ups is massage therapy by a qualified and experienced therapist, which, in my experience, are few and far between. Prior to retiring to the Long Beach Peninsula in 2020, I began my search for a qualified therapist and, after trying a few here locally with disappointing results, a friend referred me to Diane Duprez, a long-time established massage provider here on the Peninsula. I'm very grateful for that referral. Diane's been able to give me relief, albeit temporary, since I started going to her over a year ago. I've found Diane to be a highly qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced therapist well versed in human anatomy and various massage techniques. Furthermore, I've found her to be very professional both in her practice, techniques and treatment, but also in her communications, timeliness, and punctuality, unlike the other practitioners I'd seen on the Peninsula. As such, I highly recommend Diane Duprez to those needing a professional massage for relief of pain, stress, and anxieties, or just to relax and feel better.

Not wanting to send me to a doctor and pump me full of synthetic and harmful drugs, the husband found out about Chinese Medicine, and that led us Susan Monaco. I decided to try out this Chinese Medicine stuff and I was feeling pretty positive because I know the powers of natural healing. I met with her for an herbal consultation and after a chat with me about my symptoms and my medical history along with a pulse check and a tongue check, I was on my way with a weeks worth of herbs to mix with hot water. I will not lie, these herbs were the nastiest things I have ever tasted. It was truly awful. However, after two weeks of using them I watched my allergy symptoms almost disappear. She is a third generation acupuncturist and is incredibly talented. I have some pretty tricky conditions, including lyme, myalgic encephalomyelitis (formerly known as chronic fatigue syndrome), and multiple chemical sensitivities. After a treatment from her, I always feel better, including a calm kind of energy. These conditions are very difficult to treat, and it is amazing that she can help me feel better.
