I've been hearing rave reviews about this burger joint and it certainly didn't fall flat of the…read morehype! I walked up about 9:30 on a Wednesday and we were able to order immediately and even played a round of Mario Kart 64 on the console arcade. Speaking of the console, it has MANY options for free games to play while you wait for food or wait to order which I found to be quite pleasing. We waited less than 10 minutes for our food to come out, which was nice, and decided to sit outside under the heated morning. I was truly impressed by the size of the burgers. My burger featured a thick fried mozzarella layer on top the double burgers with marinara sauce and I couldn't get enough of it! My friend had the Trifuerza and it also looked amazing with a fried egg and meat stacked high. Both burgers were absolutely beastly and mouthwatering. I did find it strange that when we arrived, a Sam Smith playlist was coming over the speaker system but I didn't mind as I'm a fan of his anyway. I will undoubtedly be back to this amazing burger joint and will continue to recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great spot. My only caution is that this is a fairly expensive place. Burgers run at or over $300 but are so worth every penny. Make sure to bring your wallet and an empty stomach!

I think the Game Over is just as great! The staff are super friendly and even speak a little bit of English. My biggest tip: arrive around 19:45 hrs in order to be first in line. Glovo seems to take a huge precedence in the ordering scheme and I've waited 1hr 45min before for a single burger...

I've had a few burgers in Argentina so far, and this is the best one. I don't normally leave…read morereviews for anyone, but I felt compelled to here. Delicious burger. I think you might call it a "smashburger"? Because the patties are slightly smashed on the grill, which gives it an extra crispy element on the outside. I've had the Juicy Lucy, which had just the right amount of thousand island, and the one with BBQ sauce (forget the name). Both were really good, and the fries were great too. Good service. They always asked me if I wanted extra sauce on the side.

Found my way over to Palermo (it wasn't that hard), and sidled up to the counter at Fat Broder,…read moreCharcas 3787. Now, I wasn't holding my breath. This is another place like Burgertify, that instead of doing single large burger patties, divides the meat in two and cooks two smaller patties, which while resulting in a quicker cooking and taller stacked burger, ready for Instagram, also usually means it's overcooked. Not that it has to be, it just usually is. And, I ordered up a Juicy Lucy, their flagship burger, despite the fact that they had no idea what a real juicy lucy burger is, they just liked the name. For those of you who don't know, a juicy lucy is a midwestern classic, originating in Minneapolis, though it's spread a bit throughout the region, and what's different about it is that the burger consists of two patties, molded, and sealed, around a core of a slab of "American" cheese. As the burger cooks, the cheese becomes a molten center - it's like one of those chocolate lava cakes, just with meat and cheese. At Fat Broder, it's just two patties, each topped with cheese and bacon. Great bun - sturdy, held up the entire time, flavorful. Two well seasoned patties of meat... and... drum roll... ... quite possibly for the first time in 13+ years here, a burger requested muy jugoso, i.e., really rare, that actually was. In fact, it was cooked perfectly for me. I was happy from the first bite. The cheese was the usual local orange cheddar slices - fine, but nothing special, basically, American cheese. The bacon was plentiful and actually crispy. The slices of onion, thin and crunchy. Pickles that aren't overly sweet. The fries, some of the best I've had in town - clearly and properly either double or triple fried so they're crisp on the surface and soft and creamy inside. And a trio of condiments available - a housemade ketchup, a smoked eggplant sauce (killer!), and a cilantro and lime mayo. In combo with a pint of draft beer - 280 pesos. I'm declaring this the best burger of the first half of 2018. Do. Not. Miss. This. One. I could actually happily stop here and just rotate between a few of my favorites and not even try other burgers any more.

Listen, I love this place. I love this place and I can't say it enough. I thought Burger Joint was…read morethe be-all and end-all of BA burger spots but I was wrong. This place makes me reluctant to even leave Buenos Aires. The burgers here are super original. They've got beef, chicken, salmon, and even lamb burgers; they've even got a burger with bbq ribs on top of it (I'm coming for you). The variety is truly awesome. I had the Jesus Christ Superstar (lamb burger, roasted red peppers, gruyere, tzatziki, arugula, curry ketchup) and everything about it was delicious: the meat was perfect, the bread a flawless and beautiful sesame bun which made me wanna weep. Fries were also great, and they've got the same curry ketchup that Burger Joint has, which is my life blood. Plus, the burgers aren't ridiculously large, meaning that even after you've eaten it all you're still not so full you feel like you're gonna die. As a bonus, the decor is great. I've never really understood what it is that makes Breaking Bad SUCH a big deal in Buenos Aires, but all the drawings on the wall and BB references at this spot are absolutely awesome. If you're after a real burger, don't miss out on this place. Even if you're not after a burger, don't miss out on this place.
