This actually proved to be quite the difficult task. We were turned away from several locations, one of which gave us a lot of lip/attitude while doing so (how extremely rude!). We called EVERY other tattoo place in Bloomsburg and the ONLY one willing to even TRY to accept us (we all wanted small simple tattoos that wouldn't take more than 10-20min each) was Stormi Steel Tattoos. They were polite, professional, very friendly and helpful. Even though they had a very busy day and schedule, they saw every one of us and gave us exactly what we wanted at a VERY reasonable price. There was even a free check-in offer for a free tin of tatwax or some piercing solution! AWESOME! Go here if you can, it is totally worth it. Right across from Naps Pizza.

No local shops but, she told me about a new shop just doors away. She showed me the Facebook page of the artist. I was sold! I walked into his shop and made an appointment. I live 4 hours away. It was worth the trip! Neil made me beyond happy! He took a basic concept in my head, and made it amazing! This guy is a talented, all around great guy! I don't remember her telling me her name. They didn't ask to see my id but they put my license number in the consent form. They handed me a bin of jewelry but I could tell it was low quality and it was all butterfly backs (piercings should be done with flat backs). I should have left there, but I decided to go through with it since they would have charged me for canceling. I sat down in a tiny room and she got me ready for the piercing. Then another piercer came in and was loudly talking to my piercer and it was amplified by the small room- not pleasant. She pierced one ear and it looked fine, she got to the other ear and I started gushing blood so she SCREAMED for her boyfriend to bring paper towels- That scared me and made me panic a bit. The finished piercings looked fine at first glance but when I looked at them from the side it was clear my ear was pierced on a diagonal. I wasn't told any aftercare but I assume that's because I already have many piercings. I don't know if I should take them out and loose $70 or if I should see if they heal. (I'm worried they won't since they were pierced incorrectly.) EDIT: They gave me the option to take them out and either get a refund or get them redone. They were super nice and understanding about the situation.

After 3 or 4 months of seeing him every week at $440 a month (plus tips) Mike dropped me as a client because I asked him to look at my left arm which started having severe pain and was practically paralyzed after he worked on it. Also after seeing him I starting having Thoracic Outlet Syndrome for weeks in both arms. I also lost the use of my arms for the past five weeks now. I believe he did some thing to my scapula and shoulder blade. I asked for 30 minutes of his time to evaluate this and I had to practically teach him that as business owner you should offer to have your client come in and take a look at their concerns without charging them for it! After practically pulling teeth he finally agreed and set 30 minutes aside during his lunch break. Ater the 30 minutes he told me that he felt I should now start seeing someone else. I said "Okay" & left. I found a much better therapist who appreciates my $500 a month. So disappointed in him as a therapist and a business person. I found an amazing therapist and believe everything happens for a reason. I just hope my injuries aren't permanent!!!

His massages coupled with his professionalism and competency are incredibly relaxing. So intensely relaxing... that...ha ha! I left without the water bottle I came in with and had to go back! Jose helped the absolute brutal pinched nerve that I walked in with, coupled with his competency and professionalism. I have chronic pain from a surgery I had as a kid that causes me to walk with pain on a daily basis. My first trip there, angela assessed my needs and focused her expertise on my ankle. I kid you not, I walked around with EASE for at least two weeks afterwards. I'm also a Thai boxer and I heavily utilize my hips, torso, and upper legs for boxing. Thanks to a year plus of covid isolation and sitting around a lot, my joints were STIFF and I was exceptionally inflexible. After that first trip to the gentle dove for a dtm, I seriously felt like I did pre-covid. It was incredible. That's why I made my second appt immediately after. That massage continued to work on my issues and got even more focused on my sports related injuries and maladies and my ankle. Angela is attentive, soothing, and just the kindest soul you'll ever meet. She even told me how to use my breathing to calm my thoughts at night so I could sleep better! Honestly, I've been to many other spas and massage places over the last few years and Angela's gentle dove is at the top. It is t the fanciest place, but it has HEART. You will not leave disappointed.
