At first we thought this was gonna be a wonderful thing. He gave us a price and we gave him $6100. However, the price changed several times . He would never come out like he said he was going to. We waited home. three days in a row for him to come out and show us a receipt that he purchased the material since the price changed. There was no new contact written he kept not responding to our phone calls and not coming by like he said he was. We saw another review on here that said that he took $600 and never showed up. When threatened with the police and pressing charges, he said he would bring us a check as he was waiting for the order to be deposited back in his accounts and supposedly he canceled it. However, again, he never showed us that he actually infected. Bought the stuff. he shoved a check in our mailbox dated at the end of July. It was supposed to be dated for June 24. He told us it was an honest mistake and was going to come by that day and fix it. He never came by we kept trying to wait for him to do the right thing and he never did. We finally had to report him to the police, and we are still waiting for our money to be returned.

Gus from Big Rapids Roofing came out and gave a much better price than other bids I got, plus his company uses the brand shingle and holds the certification I wanted. I was delayed until into December from starting by my chimney build, but as soon as my chimney was finished Big Rapids Roofing was able to start. They had to blow snow off the roof in order to work. Their crew did an excellent job, worked from daybreak on into dark. Their clean up was pristine. Because of the winter weather, their equipment left some tracks in the yard, and they made every effort to remedy this by sending a guy with several bags of dirt and grass seed to repair the yard. I didn't press for this, they did it because they were responsible.
