We visited one Saturday after my daughter found this place online. While she ended up having a good experience, it wasn't as enjoyable for us as parents. We arrived on time, but only one other child was there, and the activity didn't start until about 15 minutes later while we waited for others. As first-time visitors, we were also a bit surprised that there was no greeting or introduction to help us get oriented. Many of the other parents seemed to already know each other and mostly kept to themselves, which made it feel a bit unwelcoming. There was limited interaction among both the parents and the children. Overall, while my daughter had a positive experience, I wouldn't personally recommend this place based on our visit. read more

I love taking my 3.5 year old to Ashley's studio! We always have a blast coming here. We were invited to a birthday party and had so much fun! We got to play for 2 hours and half way through Ashley and her team brought out new activities. We got to make a cat wand and play with a lot of sensory toys and stations. There is parking in the back and on the side street and metered parking in front. We can't wait to come back! read more

I'm a huge fan of Ashley and her studio Totally Art Studio. I used to attend the classes in her home when it was totally toddlers. I'm so excited for her that now she has her own studio. I bring my little guy here for her 3-5 year old sensory classes. She also runs after school and summer camps as well. The kids love all the sensory activities which vary from playing with whipped cream, hitting frozen ice blocks, painting, and more. The kids never get bored which is always a plus! Totally Art is a sensory magicland! It's an art studio for young kids, so think: arts 'n crafts, sensory bins, painting. It's small but it packs a huge punch! Kids can really just fulfill their sensory delight! We recently hosted my daughter's 4th birthday here and it was amazing! First, the two employees were awesome. They were so good with the kids - engaging and playing with them. They helped us set up and take down, cut the cake and served slices, coordinated the activities we had in our package (slime, magic potion). They encouraged the parents to sit down and eat while they were managing the kids over an activity. Overall, 10/10! All of our guests were so impressed with the studio and everyone shared they had a great time. read more

My daughter did winter camp here and has attended some of the Friday evening parties. She had a great time and it's a nice way to get some childcare for a couple of hours. They should do more Friday evening classes if there's bandwidth. read more

We love this art studio! My son and I have done a paint night here and we have the paintings we did displayed in our living room. The classes are so fun and there's so many different classes for different age groups. My 7 and 4 year old love taking age group classes here. My youngest is going to the Art Camp this summer because she just always wants to take classes here. For her summer program, she'll be decorating her own dollhouse or castle and she's so excited! read more

I have been taking my 2 and 4 year old here for over a year and this place is a gem! The teachers are friendly and engaging and the stations are always different and cute and my kids love getting their hands into everything. I love it because it's all the sensory stimulation and messy experiences that I never want to do at my house! I have been to the toddler groups, the art nights and parties here and they have all always been an amazing experience. Very often I take home adorable pieces of artwork made by my kids from the classes. The studio is clean and I recommend this to moms looking to take their kids to something different than a Gymboree or a My Gym, this is geared towards encouraging art and sensory play and it is a fabulous place! read more

My daughter loves Totally Art! We've gone to a few classes and even birthday parties here. I was so happy they expanded to include older kids as my daughter LOVES art and always has so much fun when she comes here. Huge shout out for the parent/kid painting class - we made it a daddy/daughter night out and they both loved it. The staff and teachers are so experienced and so friendly. Selfishly another plus is that it's right next to The Local Peasant so we can just drop her off and have a nice dinner. We just had my daughter's 5th birthday party here and it was amazing. They had so many stations set up in addition to the main craft and kept the kids entertained the entire time. Tessa and Chloe were so hands on and helpful with the kids the entire party and they helped us set up everything we brought as well. This place was cute and all but the experience was ruined by snooty staff members. My child has ADHD and they seemed to be annoyed by her and kept giving me dirty looks which really made me feel absolutely awful as a mother. Do not run a business for children if you do not have patience for them. Every kid is different! read more

Totally Lame! Totally a waste of money! This is the perfect example that ANYONE can get a small business loan and go to Ikea and say they are anything they want. It's small, over priced, cheaply designed and the lady who runs it is a nervous Nelly. Who cant stop talking and she's rude to the parents and party guests and mean to the kids. Makes you wonder why some people think they know what they're doing and furthermore believe they're good at it. There are plenty of other choices for kids art classes and birthday party venues. Dont make the mistake of booking it here. I never write these things but I heard her talking behind the back of the kids in her care and that made me want to let others know. read more

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with my experience. One of the teachers had a rude tone with my daughter and brushed me off when I came to ask her a question. I would assume the teachers should be friendly since they are working around young kids, but the teacher made it very obvious she was annoyed by some of the kids. My son loves here! He is 10 yrs old and always had a great experience. They have various art program for the older kids and kids can get messy and be creative. It can be also such a cool party place(glow party is the best!) All of the teachers were friendly and kind to the kids and parents. We need this art studio for the kids in our neighborhood! My son attended Totally Art toddler sensory classes, from it's inception as a home-based business to its transition to Ventura Boulevard. My son loved the art and sensory play classes so much that I enrolled him in the 3 day per week play school classes, which he did for months. As a "covid kid" who'd mostly been at home with a sitter, my son thrived in these classes. Ashley does an outstanding job engaging with children in multiple super creative activities that mix well both learning and play. You can really see her years as a preschool age educator come through in her sensory and art play. My son celebrated both his 3rd and 4th birthdays at Totally Art. The parties were so well supported with creative details. This place feels like a home away from home. If you haven't already, very worth checking out. Your littles will love it! read more
