The Oban 14-year-old single malt scotch. So smooth. One sip? What a trip. Like it neat? It's a treat. On ice? So nice. One dram? Total jam. Half the bottle. I'm full throttle. Oh man, Oban. read more

Total Wine & More... with a little extra emphasis on "more" for me. Lol. I like wine, but I don't drink it like I used to. Their selections are always outstanding in my opinion. They offer samples on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Their whiskey and vodka sections is what I came for on March 18, 2024. I picked up a 750 ml. Longhorn Texas whiskey bottle ($19.99) for me and some Classic Club vodka ($12.49) for the cowboy. The Platinum dill pickle cashews by Star Snacks Co ($5.99) were a fun snack the rest of my trip to Colorado. Didn't get any assistance much less a hi from staff members although my cashier was friendly. Ditzy as hell, but friendly. The prices are extremely affordable. If you need a premium bottle of something, most likely they'll have it. They also have snacks and a cigar humidor. Cheers, Santa Fe! read more

Good store, great prices. However... If you have to deal with "Suzie", I fear for you. She REFUSED a legit coupon from Total Wine. What a beeyotch. VERY, very poor customer "service". WeK. read more

The management is a joke. Don't waste peoples times, that's not good for business and at that if I was acting a fool I would say sure treat them however but I was not. I hope the Santa Fe location gets some staff improvement. Getting told to come back just to be told no is super inconvenient but good luck I guess. read more

A nicely stocked store with conveniently labeled sections with local brews. We were here on a visit and really wanted to explore and support these local businesses! I was happy to see there was a great selection of new-to-me ciders, while my husband found numerous beers of interest. Checkout was fast and friendly. read more

Great selection of wines, beer and spirits. If you download the app, there are coupons for different things and you can get points which will also get you money off your purchase. The app is also great to see what they have on sale or if they carry what you are looking for. They have a tasting bar on Friday and Saturday to sample certain products. They also have different classes to learn about wine and spirits. I took the wine and chocolate class which was great. read more

We love the Total Wine & More in Albuquerque but this was a strange experience visiting the one in Santa Fe. I asked the gentleman I encountered working there for direction to the moscato selection and he looked annoyed before giving me directions. I made my selection and made my way to the front while my husband went to the bathroom. When I went to checkout, the lady told me, "I can't check you out because you came in with a man and he could be underage and you could be buying for him. I need to see his ID." I told her that was fine, I would wait for my husband to come out of the restroom although my husband is 33. I then realized the wine I selected had a cork instead of a screw top and that wouldn't work because we are in a hotel room so I went back to exchange it for something else. She made a loud comment about how she knew I was doing something shady. Um... what? I then found a moscato I wanted with a top that worked, gathered my husband, and proceeded to check out with someone else. We will not be back. Such rude staff! read more

This total wine location is conveniently next to TJ Maxx, Ross and Best Buy so I can get a bunch of shopping done one store after another. There's always a sale going on for different varieties of wine and liquor. Besides an awesome selection of wine, they even have an assortment of beer options and a refrigerated section. The employees are always very helpful and willing to assist you in finding something since the store is pretty big. read more

We love Total Wine, mainly because of the service and prices. I know they're considered a big box store, but the reason they're successful is because the employees are informed and determined to be of incredible service. Tonight we had a young man named Eric who knew a whole lot more about Italian reds than I've encountered in a long time. He also helped us stock up on wines for a party that were not extravagant, but still tasty and appropriate for the crowd at the fundraiser we're having. read more

Careful with Total Wine's reviews and pricing scams. First, their reviews are highly moderated and will never say anything remotely bad about the corporation - seemingly, okay for reviewers to bash the products they sell - who cares about their suppliers. If you write a review to warn others about their pricing scams, they will not post it - so much for honest business practices. As far as pricing, they are deceptive. For example, a 750 ml bottle is $28, a 1 liter (100 ml) is $47, and a 1.75 ml is $49. Now, most US consumers are not familiar with metric measurements. So, they do not realize that 1 liter bottle (100 ml) is only slightly more volume than the 750 ml, but is $19 more. Or, for $2 more, you get 3/4 more product by buying the 1.75 ml. On top of that, the 1 liter bottles are often "accidentally" stocked with the 750 ml. Consumers grab the slightly larger bottle by accident, not realizing at the checkout that they are paying some $20 more for that item than they thought by reading the shelf tag. Profitable for the corporation. So, until consumer protection agencies (ha ha) in the US start cracking down on dishonest corporations like Total Wine, these review and pricing scams will only continue. Consumer beware - or shop stores that do not engage in deceptive practices. After all, if you cannot run a business honestly, do you really deserve to be in business? read more

Big fans of Total Wine & More. Living close to where they originated (DE), we have plenty in our area of Northern VA; they are our 'go to' for exceptional customer service and selection. Being from VA, our spirits are controlled by the state so we have to go to a separate store to buy liquor. When we drove from the ABQ airport to Santa Fe for our 5 night vacation over Thanksgiving, our first stop was Total Wine & More. That should tell you something!! We were thrilled with this store: -Beautifully merchandised and plenty of great holiday displays. -They sell liquor!! so nice to have it all under one roof. -Excellent selection. Easy to find what we needed. -Small bottles: wanted a size other than a 750ml of Kahlua for White Russians. They had it - fabulous. -Great customer service from the staff to the management we met and cashier. -Rewards program. Our rewards program from back home works here. We actually returned a second time during our trip, even though there was a liquor store closer to our Air BNB. read more

So happy they opened this store in Santa Fe. Amazing selection, very knowledgeable personnel, and prices can't be beat. If you like local New Mexico craft beer, forget Smiths and Kelly's. Better selection at Total Wine and prices are much better. read more

Even though Santa Fe has a seemingly endless list of liquor stores, Total Wine is unique for their extensive assortment of wines and beers from around the world, their really good prices (competitive with Costco and Sam's Club), and their helpful staff. I was impressed with how helpful the staff here at the newly-opened Santa Fe store was able to suggest perfect pairs for my planned meals. Great addition to Santa Fe! read more

Our go to for spirits. (We goTOO often.) Only problem we have isn't their fault. They've lost access to my wife's favorite tonic for G&T: Fever-Tree Elderflower. Nobody else in town can get it either. Oh well, it's a great life if you don't weaken, but who the hell wans to be strong? read more

Total Wine & More - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Santa Fe, New Mexico

Great selection of wines and liquors and beers. Store is really nice and the prices are good. But I will admit to being extremely disappointed when I requested a couple of boxes to move my wine and liquor, most of which I bought there, and was refused. There were hundreds of boxes sitting there ready to be used. And, in fact, I was offered a box for the three six packs of beer I bought. Despite that, when I said, yes, I'll take one, and asked for one or two others for my wine at home, I was declined. Its a small thing, pretty lame, in my opinion. read more

Don't bother with this store. I recommend Susan's Wine and Spirits if you need to buy alcohol. The staff there is A+++ I recommend the Primo Cigar Shop if you need cigars. Also, A+++ and really friendly people. Anyways, I've been in the store a number of times since they opened. I get followed around by employees. It's really twisted because I never get offered any help. I just turn around and they are peering around the corner like they are spying on me. It's effing creepy. I am going to give the place the benefit of the doubt and just say they are probably understaffed or maybe management has just instituted a really lousy culture at this particular location. Whatever it is, I am going to skip this place from now on. Apparently, browsing the aisles is suspicious. I am sorry I browsed your store, I was looking for an employee, there are usually only two when I've gone in. The fat lady sitting in the desk with the headset, and the cashier who also has the task of making sure nobody steals from the store. I love Susan's. They greet you, ask if you need any help, make recommendations, are down to talk pairings, and they are never understaffed, they might even have more employees on the floor than Total Wine!!! GO SUSAN'S!!!!!! read more

A store with a lot of selections. Price of regular beer is more expensive than most grocery stores. I am a tequila drinker and you can get Patron Tequila at Kokomans in Pojoaque for a better price than this store regardless of the size of bottle that you purchase. Excellent selection and great prices. Found the same wine I usually buy at Smiths for $5 less. The layout is great and love the wine tasting area in the back. read more

Too many poor to bad recommendations on wine, and sparkling wine by employees who perhaps are not appropriately trained or have not tasted what they are recommending. It's been a fail too many times. While Total Wine has an excellent selection of wine, beer and spirits..you can be assured you will get expert recommendations at Susan's Fine Wine and Spirits. read more

TN: Bottom Feeding At Total Wines...(short/boring) #1 Post by TomHill " Fri Aug 21, 2020 8:44 pm Had these three last weekend: 1. Anne de k Riesling AC: Vin d'Alsace Lieu-Dit Patergarten (13%; SarantyImprts; EB) Bestheim/Bennwihr 2015: Med.gold color; very light very slight R/floral/somewhat grapey/fruity rather dull/vacuous very vapid nose; fairly soft off-dry (0.6%-1.0% r.s.?) very slight metallic very light grapey/floral/no R fruit dull/vacuous flavor; very short soft/watery/vacuous off-dry finish; easily the most dull/vapid Alsatian wine I've ever had w/ virtually no R character whatsoever; very overpriced at $20.00 (TW) _________ 2. Dr.Heidemanns-Bergweiler Riesling Dry (11.5%; Q; A.P.Nr. 2 907 0880 7 20; SarantyImprts; www.Heidemanns-Bergweiler.com) Bernkastel/Mosel 2019: Med.light yellow color; very light vey slight R/floral vaguel grapey/fruity dull/innocuous nose; very slightly tart very light Mosel/floral off-dry (0.2%-0.5% r.s.?) bit fruity/grapey rather dull/insipid/vacuous rather watery flavor; fairly short lightly tart very slightly floral/R rather vacuous/insipid/watery finish; speaks quietly of R with a whisper; no Mosel character to speak of; two orders of magnitude below basic ZellarSwartzKatz; about as dull a Mosel as I've ever had; overpriced at $17.00 (TW) _________ 3. Poderi di Carlo RibollaGialla IGT: VeneziaGiulia ( 12.5%; SarantyImprts; Alfio Moriconi Slctn) Primosic Wines/Gorizia 2018: Med.yellow color w/ lots of mesmerizing tiny bubbles swirling about in the glass; very light grapey/fruity slight spicy rather dull/vapid nose w/ zero RG character; slight spritz/dissolved CO2 bit soft very light grapey/fruity rather vapid/watery flavor w/ no RG character whatsoever; very short soft slight metallic/tangy light grapey/fruity rather vapid/dull/insipid finish; no RG character at all & certainly no Friuli terroir; another vapid/vacuous/insipid vaguely fruity white dull as dishwater; overpriced at $14.00 (TW) _______________ A wee BloodyPulpit: 1. Been doing a bit of bottom feeding of late. Over the last month, trying a lot of Rieslings from Kokomans & have found some terrific values in the $10-$25 price range. About once a month, do some bottom feeding at TraderJoes and have mixed results, but usually avoid those from FredFranzia. I was in need of a couple of whites for dinner and, since I was out in that area, stopped into the SantaFe TotalWines. Only go in there about twice a yr as yet to find anything of interest here. So I picked up these 3 whites, how could I go wrong. Well....I probably hit rock bottom on these. The wines were not bad nor flawed. They all had just a sort of vaguely fruity/grapey character were just some of the dullest wines I've ever encountered. Most of them went down the drain. Sometimes it makes no sense to waste your alcohol consumption on such wines. I probably should have also bought a btl of the ButterKnife Chard, but I just couldn't bring myself to do so. I suspect it would have been a bit more interesting, if a factory wine. These wines were all Saranty Imprts, a label that I usually avoid like the plague. I've yet to find a wine from Saranty that I've thought worth drinking, even in the $50/btl range. As best I can tell, these wines are all TotalWines DirectImports exclusives. Which is a good place to keep them. Tom read more

This shop should be your "go-to" shop for beer. They have a huge inventory of Kraft beer. I'm traveling through town and had a list of beers to take home; they had everything I was looking for. I also discovered a lot of new stuff I didn't know about. Liz is an expert and very helpful. She is very patient and will help you find what you need. David at the checkout stand helped box up my large order. You guys are the best. Thanks. See you next trip through town. read more
