We usually reserve this kind of work for people we know or recommended by people we trust. So, I was a little skeptical about how it would turn out. Michael definitely delivered. He showed up the next day to give a quote, sent me a quote a couple of days later, and then started the job two weeks from my initial inquiry. So the first part of this review is that he showed up in a timely manner, which was something 4 other people failed to do. He worked on our basement drywall after we had a flood. He replaced the bottom half of what was cut out, put in trim, and painted. He also built us a wall split up the giant space. It all turned out really well and I couldn't be more happy with it. My only complaint, but not enough to lower my stars, was that due to our basement set up, all the spackling sanding ended up on our first floor (there's no door down to the basement). It was everywhere. If you'll have this same issue, I'd recommend putting up some sort of plastic barrier. If you need drywall repair, give Michael a call! He also accepts Venmo, which was a plus for us.

They cut through the ceiling to get to the root of the leak issue, removed bad pipes from behind the ceramic tub, installed all new PVC pipes behind and underneath the bathtub, and also installed new fixtures, a new waste drain and overflow sysyems before closing everything up with new drywall, tiles and/or a fresh coat of paint. They did a fantastic job at a price that will beat any competitor! I highly recommend Mike and John for any job that requires a competent, experienced contractor!

Bob worked with us to provide solutions to some interesting requests that we had made. We agreed that any future projects would include a quote from Creative Contracting. We have done some smaller projects since that time, and most recently we replaced a very large leaking skylight in the kitchen area. Bob provided a quote and we agreed to move forward with the project. Bob introduced us to his foreman Andrew and we discussed the proposed timeline. As with any project there were some minor issues, but we were really impressed with how these issues were addressed. We were very impressed with the crew, especially the communication that was provided during the process. Andrew is top notch. Even though we know he had other jobs that were way more involved than our skylight, he made us feel as if this was his top priority. He communicated with us daily, either by text or phone call and if we had a question or concern, he was quick to respond. When we had a leak the following day, he was honest in explaining what had happened and we appreciated understanding the process. Communication goes a long way in satisfying your customers! DJ was a pleasure to meet. He was hard working and willing to do anything necessary to assist in getting the job done. Adam is a very kind and very caring individual. On the day the job started, I stayed home for 1/2 a day and was in the other room. I could hear Adam explaining to DJ what they were doing, why they were doing it and how they would do it. It was the best example of someone teaching his craft to an apprentice with such patience. I made sure to compliment them both, but especially Adam, he really worked hard at teaching DJ while getting the job done right. I was very impressed. The crew went out of their way to make sure the job was done right and worked with our schedule to make it happen. We will continue to recommend Creative Contracting to everyone we meet. Thank you.

To be honest, the only reason we went elsewhere was because we needed a good bit of painting done at the same time and was able to combine into one contractor. He explained everything and was quick to return a quote that was very fair and comparable to others received for the job. He was very easy to get in contact with and returned messages within an hour. He was friendly, kind, personable, and even made it a point to spend time with our pets before he left. Basically -- while I can't speak to the actual skill (although other reviews were happy with LBS's work), service and responsiveness was an A+, which for me matters a ton when hiring a contractor for work on my house.
