Their prices were comparable to other places but in the end, I decided to go with Renny. Andrew was timely, courteous and professional every step of the way. His partner, Jose, did the actual painting and I could not be more pleased. Paint is such an important part of ones home and it is so evident that Renny takes pride in their work and craftsmanship and the proof is literally on my walls. I had my entire kitchen, living room and stairwell painted in half a day and the cost did not exceed the initial estimate. I really didn't know what to expect and when I got home, I was left speechless. The paint was flawless and came out better than I expected. Jose made sure to put everything back in its place and it was as if he wasn't even there! It was like magic. Andrew make sure to follow up with me to make sure that I was happy with their services and that's service you don't always get. Long story short, I would highly recommend Renny.

In anticipation of putting my house on the market, I recently decided to take the plunge and have my basement completely redone into an actual "livable" space. Renny's owner, Andrew, came out with his project manager and walked through the space with me, they utilized a very consultative approach to help me realize what I wanted to achieve. I received my thorough quote in a timely manner, and I quickly decided to choose Renny for the job. The crew started work quickly and the entire project was finished, on budget, to perfection within three days. The crew foreman checked in with me every day and walked me through what they did in detail so that I could see the progress. All of the workers were so professional and talented. The Renny team helped me choose everything: paint colors, wood flooring, fixtures for the bathroom, and lighting options. The end result is simply spectacular and I find myself enjoying spending time in my new finished media room! I only have one problem, Renny did such an amazing job that I am second guessing the choice to sell my home. We shall see! But if I stay, the house will need a bit more work this spring (new deck, exterior painting, etc.) and you can bet that Renny will be my first choice!!!

They dealt with parking in the city without complaint. The price was exactly what I thought it should be, which was extremely fair and reasonable. They were on time every morning (5 days of work), very clean and neat, and took off EVERY switch plate in the rooms that were painted! I was beyond impressed, they worked efficiently and were very helpful in doing some other repairs that were longstanding annoyances around my house. I will be using you all again! Drew was not shy on giving his feedback, some of which was simply a difference in taste (he said he personally wouldn't have used such a dark color in the living area, but I love the way it turned out) and some of which was good advice that I took (was toying around with some ceiling colors, but he talked me into pure white, which he was totally right on). Overall, project took 3 or 4 days (it was a few months ago now, so I can't remember exactly), but I was all ready to move in on time. Great experience and great team. I give Vandele my highest recommendation for anyone looking to refresh or reimagine their living…read morespaces. They are talented, organized, fair, willing to listen, easy to deal with, professional, honest, and willing to make amends when they don't live up to their high standards. Briefly, we bought an apartment in an old Center City building that was suffering from hideous, drab brown walls that sucked the life out of the place. When we contacted Vandele, they were prompt and professional (unlike another painter who bailed on us at the last moment), first in scheduling an estimate - at a really competitive price - and then at scheduling the job itself. They even met us halfway with the price of a paint that we'd really loved, even though it should have been a higher cost. They offer a design consultation, which happened about a week out from the start date. My partner and I had already spent quite a bit of time thinking through color schemes, so this session was more of a chance to have a professional listen to us and reassure that what we wanted to do would look good. I think if you are more uncertain of color, you could get a real consultation and recommendations, but in our case, we just needed someone to tell us to stop looking at paint sample cards, that we had made a great choice. It's a small thing, but these nice, small things are what separate Vandele from others. On the day of the painting, the painters showed up on time, first thing in the morning. They would be there every morning on time for the next 4 days, just as the company said they would. I cannot tell you how much of a relief it is to have people do what they say, to not be worried the job won't get done, to have to be calling to find out what is going on, arguing to get what you are paying for. Since both of us work, it was wonderful to leave the apartment in the morning and know that we would not have to worry about the painting during the day and would be able to return at night to see the progress made during the day. They did their job while we did ours. After 4 days of work, the apartment truly looked like a different place. In the end, that is probably the most important part of the job and they excelled at this as well. Everything looked clean and skillfully done, no sloppy splattered paint where it didn't belong, no missed spots or not enough coats. Just clean edges, vibrant paint and a beautiful apartment that we could now call our own. After the job was complete, we did have one issue, but the way Vandele handled it makes me want to recommend them even more. We initially went with a bold color in the bathroom and immediately regretted our decision - the painters repainted it white the next day. After the job was completed and we resumed showering, immediately we realized that the paint was not handling the moisture well, as it looked like it was literally sweating out yellow paint. We contacted Vandele and showed them the problem; they agreed that the bathroom-specific paint was not used with all of the changes and offered to repaint the bathroom at no charge in a timely manner. No argument, no hassling over price, just an acknowledgment of a mistake and a plan to remedy it. We can't ask for anything more.

When we discovered the problem, I immediately started researching contractors because I knew that I'd need a solid, timely quote to continue negotiating the deal. Based off positive reviews online, I contacted Dave Condon on a Saturday morning via text and he responded to me within 10 minutes. I was floored, given that contractors are generally tough to deal with. Dave and the moisture inspection company helped me a lot in understanding the issues so I could negotiate with the seller and encouraged me to stand my ground. We eventually worked out a deal and closed on the house, but all of the stone needed to be replaced. Dave set us up with addresses of homes in the area so that we could look at different colors and styles in person. If you're approaching a similar job, I encourage you to do the same because it makes a difference seeing the material up on a house. We ordered our stone, which took a few weeks to come in, and Dave's crew started the job. From start to finish, there were no surprises. Dave's crew worked efficiently, was there on time when they said they'd be, and did excellent work. A crew of six did all the demo and had it done in two days. The entire project took two weeks, which was precisely the schedule Dave had given us at the start of the job. Along the way Dave explained where the problem areas were and why they had appeared. What sets Dave apart is his communication. He was always proactive in letting us know what was going on. Another note on Dave's stone guys -- they did a phenomenal job of laying the stone so the pattern looked fantastic. You may notice that the same stone on two different houses can look very different because it's laid by different crews. Some look great and some may look patchy. Dave's guys were real artists and did a great job. I wouldn't hesitate to hire C&C again and have recommended them to friends.
