I am extremely happy to report that I am no longer taking metformin, glipizide nor jardiance. Dr. Wang made a customized plan for natural supplements based on my labs that WORKS! Over a decade of pill popping gone! I HIGHLY recommend to anyone tired of just being fed pills. THANK YOU Dr. WANG for saving my life.

Not only is she trained in Naturopathic medicine, but also in functional medicine (yes, there's a difference) She is focused on root cause resolution rather than symptom suppression. I went to Dr Wicher for prolotherapy on my right wrist and to obtain a prescription for Rapamycin…read more This office is run solely by Dr. Wicher and her receptionist--no assistant or nurse, which is rare for any medical office. The first two treatments of prolotherapy March 10 and Apr 14 went without incident, but on the third May 20, unlike the 20+ treatments over the years I received from another doctor who always used a thin-gauge needle with no local anesthetic, Dr Wicher used a thick gauge needle that looked like the type used for blood draws. I trusted her judgment, which was a mistake, as the injection caused intense pain, tingling, numbness in my fingers, and damage to the tendon. I found out later she used a local anesthetic which she did not in the first treatment. The pain and weakness in my wrist is WORSE than before the treatments began, and persists to this day, to the extent that I it affects my daily life (I have trouble driving and cannot open a jar lid with a jar opening tool.) In my previous visit Apr 14, I received a prescription for 12 capsules of 6mg compounded Rapamycin. Before the botched prolotherapy treatment I brought up studies that showed that the compounded form has a bioavailability of only 30%. Dr Wicher did not dispute and agreed to send a new prescription to my pharmacy for Sirolimus, the generic form of Rapamycin. When I got home my pinkie/ring fingers were numb and unusable so I called the office to report expecting a follow up call, but I never received one. Three days later after multiple calls the receptionist told me the doctor emailed me: 1. Lia said you were having some numbness in your wrist? Is this still present? It could have been from the anesthetic but should wear off 2. Rapamycin: I am not comfortable ordering the non-compounded drug for you unless you obtain additional labs(CMP, CBC and regular lipid testing). You gave me some labs from April. When I did your initial consult, I did a focused prolozone one based on what you were coming in for. I would need to obtain further information before proceeding with this drug. I responded by asking her why she needed new labs when she had already given me a prescription based on the lab work the month before, Her response: "Since the actual drug is a bit more potent than the compounded one is why I want these labs. " This was puzzling. She chose to prescribe the compounded version because the potency is low as to be ineffective? She had already prescribed compounded Rapamycin a month ago, and then agreed to the generic. So why did she change her mind? The only reason I can think of is that, after my report of numbness, she grew concerned about liability and reversed course--not because of clinical concerns, but professional ones. There were more issues. Attached is Customized Client Schedule I received after my exam. Notice that recommendation 2 Dihydroberberine does not contain exact doses, but only a recommendation for the product she sells in her office. Recommendation 1 is also for a product she sells in her office. Also notice the hand written recommendation for "Caster Oil Packs-see handout". I was not given the handout and had to ask the receptionist for help. She added "wool flannel" to the sheet. Also note the prescription for Rapacycin 6mg. Another issue occurred during my first appointment in which my blood pressure reading was high, over 150/90, indicating Stage 2 Hypertension. I was given absolutely no guidance on how to address this concern. I cannot recommend this practice: * Overworked: The doctor is spread thin, as she has no assistants. * Poor communication: She doesn't respond to emails or calls in a timely manner (5 days to respond to second email). * Neglected critical signs: Like failing to address my Stage 2 Hypertension * Vague instructions: Handout was missing, instructions unclear, product dosages unspecified. * Conflict of interest: She recommended supplements that she sells in her office, I assume at a profit. * Competence concerns: Offers a broad menu of therapies, but may lack depth in some. Based on my experience, if you are considering prolotherapy, only consider practices that specialize in orthopedics and have extensive experience with prolotherapy. I no longer trust Dr Wicher. I canceled my next appointment, and will no longer be seeing this ND.

She truly understands that meaningful health isn't achieved in a few rushed visits, but through an individualized process that looks at root causes rather than just managing symptoms. As a mid-30s mom of two who is generally healthy but has had lingering concerns that conventional medicine never really explored, I finally feel heard. Dr. Santiago is incredibly methodical and research-informed, yet her approach feels very human. She takes the time to explain how different systems in the body are connected and helps you understand why things are happening, which makes you feel like an active participant in your care rather than a passive patient. What stands out most is her clarity and honesty. She sets realistic expectations, educates you throughout the process, and creates care plans that are truly personalized, not protocol-driven. Even at the very start of this journey, I feel confident that I'm in capable hands and on a path that supports real, sustainable health. As a bonus, every single member of her team is wonderful. From the warmth and professionalism to the calm, inviting space, the experience feels unlike any medical setting I've been in before. My nurse drew my blood while I was mid-conversation and I genuinely didn't even notice, that's how skilled and gentle they are. It's simply a joy to be cared for in an environment like this.

It took me a lot of time, strength, courage to write this review because of how deeply traumatized…read moreI am about my experience. This is a long review, but please read the entire thing if you are thinking of coming here for treatment. I was under the care of Clement Lee and he not only put my life in danger, but he took financial advantage of me. His actions were unethical, greedy and should have his license revoked. I'm convinced majority of these reviews are fake by the way he treated me. It's a shame because I wanted to trust him and give him a chance because he is of the same heritage as me. First off, he prescribed me 17 different supplements without doing any testing to see if I actually needed any of these. I also informed him of how I had limited funds of $10k to spend on treatment (I haven't worked for 2 years due to debilitating chronic illness. I have legitimate financial trauma due to being sick, which he knew). After only ONE visit, I spent a total of $4180 (tests, supplements, visit & an overpriced sauna he recommended that he got a % of). Long story short-- the protocol he put me on was way too harsh for the state I was in and nearly put me into an adrenal crisis. I had to go to the ER. This was at the end of May and I am still recovering. I was barely able to lift my head off my pillow. I called his office multiple times, pleading with the front desk that something was terribly wrong-- their answer was always "you're just going through detox symptoms". It was reminiscent of the times I got gaslit and dismissed by conventional medicine. After I went through my adrenal situation, I called the office informing them and they answered "you need to book another visit" which is another $400! Not knowing what to do and feeling absolutely helpless, I turned to multiple chronic illness related Facebook groups and shared what I was going through. Several functional doctors reached out to me as a result-- I spoke with them through private message and shared my test results with them. EVERY SINGLE of them said that the protocol was way too overboard, dangerous for my condition and that what he did was extremely unethical. I saw another functional doctor for a proper consult, and he said that I did NOT need the majority of these expensive supplements for my condition-- as a matter of fact, he told me that some of them were making me much worse. He also agreed that the protocol was dangerous, extremely greedy and unethical. This new doctor informed me that Dr. Lee did a "shotgun approach" which is basically playing a guessing game with my illness and often times increases symptoms, incurs unnecessary costs & delays the identification of the most effective treatment. With my limited funds, my treatment should have been more precise to target my actual illness-- like prescribe me supplements that I actually NEED that would have helped me. I also have severe ptsd from medical trauma from conventional medicine-- those with chronic illness know exactly what I'm talking about. I also had a major surgery this past January-- another trauma. And I ALSO have financial trauma. I have complex ptsd from all this that he knew about, yet still took financial advantage of me and put my life in danger. Safe to say that this experience pushed me over the edge. It took me so long to write this review because I feel frozen in my body with all of this trauma. I'm sure I invoked fear in him because I asked the office multiple times for all my medical records related to my case & he ended up personally calling me-- I told him everything that happened including the severe retriggering of cptsd and he offered to read my test results for free over the phone to see what was going on with me. He quickly went through my bloodtests, but did not go through my mold or gi map test. I asked him if he was going to go through them, and he said the following week-- but of course I never got a call from him. Extra credit: They even mishandled the blood draw & left me a big bruise. Experiences like mine are the reason why naturopaths have such a bad rep for being quacks. I will never let this go. I will continue to tell my story on every platform possible. That money to him meant nothing as he carelessly risked my life over it. I think it's important that I continue to share my story so other people won't fall into the same situation that I did.

I arrived early, as I always do at 12:00. I care about my appointments a great deal &make every effort to respect the doctor's time. Unfortunately, I was made to wait a good 45 minutes *AFTER* my 12:30 appointment and wasn't seen until 1:20 pm. Mind you, I was the only person in the waiting area the entire time. So once I go in to see Dr. Maria, she has me sit and wait another few minutes at her desk, while she's finishing up another patient's files/paperwork. She never even apologizes for having me wait so long. This let me know that this doctor does not respect her patient's time & objectively speaking, this is a boundary violation. In any case, I had my primary care physician fax all my recent lab work to her office. She told me that she wants to order her own labs.. When I asked what the difference is between her labs and the labs from my primary, I noticed a strong shift in her energy and attitude. She snapped at me with "Why are you here!?!?", which took me aback for a minute. It seemed that she didn't appreciate my questioning her. She told me that I needed to read her book, so that I could know how she does things, while lifting both arms in a broad circular motion. She then went down a list of things that she wanted to check for that are not included in the labs faxed. But not before letting me know on a very strong, implicit level that she did *NOT* appreciate being questioned. I don't fool with doctors that feel they are above being questioned. If you're not allowed to ask questions without being made to feel bad, then no thanks. Too culty. I was made to feel as if I had done something wrong by asking questions, thinking for myself, instead of blindly following whatever she was telling me. Speaking of her book, there were signs all over the patient waiting area promising a free copy of her book for "good yelp reviews". This kind of Yelp review gaming isn't the most ethical/ honest way to get good reviews. Reviews should be organic and out of the person's own volition, not because they are given an incentive by the doctor to do so. So all the raving, good reviews I see are probably not the most authentic. There's a high likelihood the people were promised favors in some form or fashion for those reviews. It made me wonder about how she might do other things that could affect my health in the same unethical / slick manner. It certainly didn't inspire any trust in her. Lastly, I was told by her to take certain supplements. She told me that the supplements can get me off my current medication within a handful of months of taking them. She has her own line of supplements, so of course, these were presented to me for a total of $125. Looking these supplements up, I see them available at Walmart, Walgreens, and Target for $5 to $10. Same exact ingredients. Also, she knew that I am on several crucial medications from my primary physician, but she not once cautioned about adding all these supplements to my already existing medications and possible interactions/complications they can cause. One of the supplements she "prescribed" renders my medication ineffective. She never even mentioned this, although she knew exactly all of the medications I was already taking. With Dr Maria Sulindro, there was not even the slightest hint of discussion about that. She never even told me to check with my primary physician first or beware of the possible life-threatening complications. ) Didn't question her anymore, as I didn't want her to snap at me again. Had I blindly followed what she was telling me to do, I could have seriously ended up in danger. So overall, I wasn't very impressed. I think this doctor will pressure to do a whole host of unnecessary things on each patient, which includes purchasing her over-priced supplements on a regular basis. There was also a very strong push to continuously promote her book, which probably should find a more appropriate venue at the local book stores or libraries, instead of the doctor's office. (I looked up her book. The synopsis on the D-rate publisher sales page reads exactly how Dr. Maria Sulindro speaks, with grammatical errors, and spelling mistakes galore. Makes her & her book look very unprofessional. I'm still trying to figure out how you "twig your life style"??? Please hire a qualified editor to help you! ) Clearly this doctor visit was all about herself, her over-priced supplements & her book. A sales pitch, instead of a doctor visit. One I was made to wait almost an hour for, at that. I left out of there with the impression that the #1 goal there is to sell people on those over-priced supplements, her book, and a ton of other services that aren't covered by insurance for the benefit of the doctor more than anything else. No thanks
