Surgery went extremely well. Very little discomfort and recovery was quick. I was back to work 2 days after surgery. I have had absolutely no sensation of hunger since the surgery and feel full after 4 or 5 bites. I have lost an additional 32 lbs since (4 weeks). I feel 20 years younger. I've gone from 284 lbs to 224 lbs in just 7 weeks and should end up around 185 - 190. More importantly my blood sugar went from 300 to 85, cholesterol from 980 (not a typo) to 123, a1c from 8.3 to 5.8. I feel like I have added decades to my life. DO NOT WAIT! If you are overweight go talk to Dr. Broussard immediately. Also, low interest financing is available at Allegiance Credit union in Edmond. If your insurance doesn't cover the surgery it will run about $240.00 per month. You will save more than that in food.

I see Mellisa Weaver and they take care of their patients. They want to make sure their patients are doing great. I go in every single quarter for my testing, even though I'm bad about taking my pills and Melissa calls me out on it and so she should as my physician This clinic is great for a long-term care with the success after weight loss surgery and then gain back weight years later, I underwent a secondary surgery at a different clinic and then weight loss injections have been my lifesaver. I appreciate the team having a personal connection with their patients and their due diligence to make sure that we as weight loss surgery patients need to be on top of our testing on a regular basis. I love that we have the option for support groups with Dr. Keller who specializes in transfer addiction, which is something that is a real thing I'm currently going through right now and this is the best clinic and it has been a huge blessing in my life. I love my team at Weightwise and I love my team at metabolic center of Oklahoma/Edmond. Thank you for trying to keep me on the right track and thank you for always pushing for me to get my labs done. That's why you choose insurance that is in network if it all possible.

The…read morereceptionist Ashley is the rudest person you could ever meet, and if you call she will just hang up on you, No goodbye or anything. I have been going back and forth for weeks to try and get medication for Type 2 diabetes. The insurance company and pharmacy tell me that Optimum Primary Care are not submitting the proper documentation. I try to call, my wife tries to call, and my insurance company tries to call and explain the situation and what is needed, just to be hung up on by this Ashley girl therefore nothing gets done. Weeks without the medication that I need weekly and I can really feel the affects of not having it. The insurance company even says I need to find a place that cares and actually knows what they are doing. What happened to medical staff that actually cared about the welfare of the patients they were treating. Where are the medical facilities that actually take pride in what they do? I would love to find one, because Optimum Primary Care isn't it.

I had a check up appointment on January 6th and today I call to refill my Dexcoms, pharmacist tells me my prescription has expired. Easy fix right? Give doc a call. Right. I was told on the phone it might or might not get done today no promises, but they would be sure to make it a high priority. When that should have been taken care of back in JANUARY. Not to mention the PA who saw me that day was GOOGLING answers to my questions. AI who? So a little sensor that keeps me alive in the middle of the night might or might not be refilled. I go to the office in person today, and ironically they renew the prescription immediately Diabetes doesn't have an On and Off switch, I can't just turn it off when my Doctor decides to fail me and not do her job. In his trying to get a viable biopsy sample he dug around in my neck 4 different times. It was brutal. A week later, and I am still extremely bruised. It took three calls to get my results on the biopsy. I told the nurse and the office manager about the bruising on my neck. They didn't show any concern. I do not recommend this physician or his office.
