So I read all the reviews for total massage 6 in different areas. Some good/bad reviews. So me and my husband made a decision to go today. My husband has been dealing with intense shoulder pain after massage he said he felt much less tense and shoulder pain had gone down. I was really nervous to get the massage it was my first time, this place did not disappoint they massaged knots out in my shoulders and neck I didn't know we're on my there. Booked 2 couple massages online and called the day before to make sure they had the room. Showed up and no one spoke English so they were so confused and kept pointing at the board of services offered. I showed them my email reservation and it seemed they didn't have any staff. They put my son and his girlfriend in one room and proceeded to take my husband and I to another room that seemed like a spare room that they use to lay down in. No cleaned or anything. I noticed no one else was there and asked how would we have a couples massage with one masseuse. Unfortunately with no English it was all left to sign language style communication. I told her they needed more people than just one person massaging a couple and she was extremely confused. My husband and I left and allowed my son and his girlfriend to utilize the other person for the true experience. Their room looked like an actual room but ours looked gross. SCAM. One of the men working there is not a professional. He made things up as he went. He stuck his fingers in my ears. He raised my legs in the air and dropped them for no reason. He never massaged my legs or feet. He only slapped them. The whole thing was weird and unprofessional. It felt like someone off the street walked in and started massaging me. I should have asked to stop several times but I didn't. That's on me. I left a review before but Yelp asked for another one. I wanted to go back and ask for my money but the when I went in there the first time I could only point to the menu to ask for which massage I would like without any talking or questions in return. No one said anything to me. I don't care what language someone speaks but I didn't think I'd be able to express how bad the experience was with a language barrier. Absolutely terrible experience. The male therapist repeatedly touched me inappropriately, even after I told him to stop. He also "accidentally" lifted the towel and pressed his privates against my hand multiple times. This was extremely unprofessional, invasive, and unacceptable behavior. I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe the entire session. I strongly do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I'd like to preface this by saying, I am writing this review on the car ride back home. I have had massages and reflexology done is Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Bali, Thailand, and recently, New Orleans; the session that I experienced today was one of the best experiences ever! The staff was welcoming, professional, and service was immaculate. A friend and I stopped in, after grabbing sushi at a restaurant nearby. There aren't that many reviews and there should be because each of their 7, now 8th star are well deserved. I will be back, at least biweekly while I'm in San Angelo. I was in town to visit family and was having serious neck/shoulder pain. I didn't have time to visit my own Chinese massage place at home before traveling to SA and was so thankful to find this place. The chair massage prices are on par with what I pay at home and are a steal! The therapist found my usual tight spots almost immediately and released an "oh my g*d" when he did. They were bad. I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area and have had plenty of great massages, but this was among the very best. I had a 60-minute oil massage in a private room with "Tim," from China. He was just amazing, and the hot rocks were an unexpected treat. I can't recommend this place highly enough. The extensive menu of services is posted in the lobby. Clothed massages are held in an area outside the private rooms in roomy cubicles. The establishment is extremely clean, the staff friendly, and the music calming. Everything is professional. It's walk-in only, and I wondered whether that would mean a wait. It didn't. Try them out. You won't be disappointed! I sure wasn't. read more

I found this place 3 weeks ago looking for deep tissue massage. I got a 30 minute chair massage first to try them out. loved it! came back yesterday for a full-body basic 60-minute massage minus essential oils for $38 (+$2 for card payments). this was even better. fantastic massage experience overall. the therapist was great, good communication, applied the right pressures as I needed. very enjoyable. the tables are very study but super soft as well. room temp is perfect, music is nice calming. quiet peaceful space for a good massage treatment. I love their low prices as well. best I've seen for an hour long session. felt great after and still 24 hours later. these guys are good! read more

Massage was a deep tissue, and I barely felt the pressure of the massage. On top of that, the prices are amazing, 55 for an hour... UNTIL they won't let you leave if your tip is the same amount as the massage. So it was still a 100 dollar massage. Very rude about it . read more

My second visit Total Massage 6 was after the recent ice storms. My back, neck, and neuropathy were acting terrible. I asked for essential oils and ended up with stones too as I told my masseuse what was wrong and where I hurt. I even mentioned my arthritic thumb joints and my right foot. I walked out amazed again as I didn't think I could receive more attentive care or precise work than I did the last time I laid down on the table here. Read my previous review about their foot work, technique, and the great price. If I could give 6 stars I would, my masseuse was the best, but I'm not telling who I see because I want to be able to get appointment when I call. read more
