I emailed about 5-6 companies…read morefor quotes (resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile), samples of their styles of writing and design, and if they would be able to tailor them to different job fields. Doug was actually one of the first to email me back. I immediately favored his template and I even showed my girlfriend the three templates (without telling which one I preferred) and she agreed that Doug's was the best. Doug's writing style is professional, easy to read, and the template was very appealing and eye-catching. The next day, I called Doug to ask him a few questions. Based on our conversation, I knew I wanted to choose JobStars. Doug is a genuine guy who really wanted to help me out. He answered all of my questions and offered the best value for the three services I requested so I purchased the package later that night. The following morning, I received a response email with a questionnaire to fill out. After filling out the questionnaire and sending it back, Doug said it would take 4-5 business days for him to write the first draft. Sure enough, I received the first draft in 4 business days. As an added bonus, Doug went out of his way and sent me an alternate resume (I'm pursuing careers in two different fields). I informed him there was an application I wanted to submit that was due at midnight, and within an hour of sending me the first draft, I had an alternate resume as well. As mentioned before, Doug genuinely wanted to help me succeed. Overall, I am very happy with choosing JobStars. My resume looks outstanding and highlights my accomplishments from previous jobs. Most importantly, it created my own brand which is important in job hunting and standing out. I feel much more confident starting my job search and feel like I have an edge over the competition.

It was not professional at all, was riddled with lies and was formatted as if a second grader did it. Luckily, I was already employed but was seeking a position out of state. That being said...I was coupled with Kane who was so incredibly nice and professional. He spoke with me for about an hour which essentially felt like an interview but in more detail. I mean he really drilled down. Little did I know, this was great because once the final version was complete, he was able to knock it out the ball park on the first draft in about a week. I quickly reviewed gave him the thumbs up and hit submit to my potentially new gig! Surprisingly, I received and interview in less than a week and made it to the second interview. I did not get the job but the exercise was more than enough. Flash forward six months and I am back again to get some edits/tweaks done. Her technical skills are highly proficient, her work ethic is outstanding, and her interpersonal talents make her the kind of person you want to work with. She can be counted on to take effective initiative, and also to work very cooperatively on a team. Some of my most productive project meetings were with Heidi! I also want to mention something important but more elusive. The text Heidi created and the text she edited were not cut-and-dried, counting-widgets sort of copy.
