Charging me 240 is ridiculous. That's out of the question and y'all most definitely did bleach because I'm at another hairstylist at the moment. Who knows y'all did bleach so don't lie

I have gone back and fourth on leaving this review but I think people need to be warned. Let me…read morestart by saying that Alicia Woodard is no longer the owner of this salon. She was my stylist for years and I loved her. She sold it because she moved away. I started going to the new owner, Chelsea who was at the time a stylist there. Alicia left her my color formula but not once did the color come close to what I was use to. She would keep me at the bowl, toning me over and over trying to find the color I was going after and it really started getting over processed. I continued going because I thought maybe it was just taking her time to learn me and my hair. That was not the case. The final straws for me was her over thinning my hair when I was growing it out and leaving me at the bowl while she took a phone call. I set there for a while panicking and when she came over, she had to redo it because the color was gray almost. I walked out not happy and texted her that I wasn't happy with how she cut it and the color. I had been growing it out and each time I went to her, my hair was shorter when I left. She thinned it so much on the right side, that it took a huge chunk out and later said that s what I asked her for. Her explanation to me was, that's what I asked her. No mam, I did not. Up to that point, she wasn't thinning, only slightly using the razer on it for direction. She later said that she thought it was thicker than what she realized. When I got home, I did reach out to her and she apologized for it. and the color I wasn't happy with. She told me that my next visit she would fix. This last time, we couldn't find the color I was telling her I wanted because I like a light blond and she kept showing me dirty blond swabs. At the bowl, she said that she wasn't going to tone it. I did like the color but It quickly turned yellow and it started coming out in the shower. When I sent her a picture of what I lost, she told me that if It kept up that I might want to check my thyroid. My bloodwork was perfect and it has continued falling out and is so dry that I can't wash it without adding a conditioner with it to get my fingers through. it. I told her that my hair was in the worst shape it had ever been in and she said it just needed an oil treatment. I have not been back. She justified every concern I had over and over and It's my fault for going back over and over. Its just so hard finding a stylist and I was hoping that she would learn. Now I am dealing with hair loss everyday and even reached out to a dermatologist for options. I'm now on a medicine to try and grow back and I have found another stylist who is doing her best to save my hair. It is very thin now. She had a lot of personal things going on and I believe she was, is so preoccupied that she really was just going through the motions to get me in and out. I've had to shorten my experiences and trying to give key points. Please don't go to this salon and use her. Research before allowing anybody to touch your hair. I am devastated over my hair and the loss I experience daily and I don't want anyone else to suffer as I am right now. Chelsea over processed and over lapped the bleach to get me to this point. Please stay away from this place.

Neither one cut their hair as instructed, (if you can't do the Haircut, you need to disclose this prior to cutting someone's hair) Then one of the girls turned to my wife and said: "well what do you want me to do, we can't glue it back", really lady, I had to bite my tongue and not lash out at this girl. As a father you want the best for your boys, and a hair cut is one of them. I love what Jenni has done for my wife and what Melissa has done for my boys but I doubt I'll allow my kids back here again... Good job girls for your lack of etiquette of hair styling and unprofessional mannerism. I'm giving this a 3 of 5 because of Jenni & Melissa, but if they were not a part of this establishment I'd hand them 0 - 5!!!

Popped in first thing this morning hoping I could get my haircut and surely enough, Brandy had a cancellation. As I observed the inside of this business I realized it had a super cool vibe, very relaxing and Heather was a true ambassador for the business. She welcomed me in and gave me an AMAZING haircut and had a cool conversation about life and living. EXTREMELY happy that I stopped in and gave this business a chance. As a male (with longer hair) I appreciated the fact that they cut men's hair. Even if I didn't have longer hair, I'd still HIGHLY recommend this place for your next hair appt. I'd also like to say that I'm super jazzed about Heather Brown Hardwick running for mayor. Did some research and ABSOLUTELY love her leadership style, grace and energy that she will bring to the Pleasant View community. For all you men out there that don't think a women could handle this job...think twice! This young lady is a PERFECT fit at a PERFECT time to continue to lead our community into the coming years!! Very excited for her and her family!! So, in saying all of that, I'll just repeat...THIS PLACE ROCKS!!! Many thanks Brandy for welcoming me into the building and I will surely be back!!!

Discovered Public Square Barbers in Gallatin about 8-10 months ago. I wish I was going here sooner. Atmosphere is excellent. There is beer and other drinks available if interested. If you have to wait a few min from being a walk-in, no big deal to chill and chat for a few. All the people are easy to talk to. First time I had an appointment, randomly chose K.C. As I sit in the chair, some how we start talking about something not politically correct and I hesitate to say anything else because people get their feelings hurt so easily these days. K.C. at the Gallatin location is top tier and it's a real shame he won't relocate to TX when I move. I almost want to deduct a star for that.

Gypsy Barber & Shave is a small (3) chair shop that sits in a converted 1960's ranch style home on a side street about a block off of Rivergate Parkway in Goodlettsville. Parking is ample as the front yard was paved to make spaces. When you walk in, you pop into the waiting room which features oversized chairs, dark wood floors, heavy wood tables topped with ornate chess boards, mounted deer, a bourbon barrel and a cool metal mustache! It is a total vibe that fits the energy of this place! The lobby opens up to the room where all the magic happens. This room features copper decorative ceiling tile, lighter floors, leather barber chairs and oversized stations with large mirrors. Really love the overall décor and feel of this place! I snatched up an appointment with Laura, who turned out to be super chill, fun and talented! I will definitely be back to see her in the future. During my cut I got to chat up the other two Barbers, which were equally as fun and friendly. In addition, I got to hang with the resident greeter and all around cool pup, Murphy! Overall, got a great cut at a cool spot by a good Barber! I found my spot :)
