We wanted to change out our old patio door for a new sliding door…read more They sent out a sales rep, Adam, who came to our house and spent about an hour explaining the quality of their products and taking measurements. As he left, he promised a quote within 24 hours. We're still waiting for the quote after 10 days - and after follow-up phone calls and emails. Not a word! As a former VP of Sales and Marketing, this is completely unprofessional. We gave the business to another company who gave us a verbal quote on the spot and then followed up the next day with a written one. Brock Doors and Windows are not worth wasting you time over.

This company has a lot to answer for. They priced out a storm door for my home along with a patio…read moredoor for the back of my home. At their insistence, they wanted two separate invoices. As it turns out, the reason was because they had no intention of completing the storm door. They only used that as a ruse to gain the patio door business since I was clear I'd only hire a company that would do both. Unfortunately they let the fact that they would not install a storm door slip a few months later, but it was already too late. As for the patio door, the installation was a mess. They tore off trim that didn't need to be removed and GLUED TRIM TO MY TILE for some reason. Cheap trim too along with cheap sealer - we're talking the cheapest Home Depot grade materials. On the outside, they made several ugly miscuts and then tried to hide it all with a comically-large path of sealer, smeared all over my antique wooden siding. After I complained they returned to try to correct the job and managed to make it WORSE! Even Brock's salesperson agreed it was unacceptable. But then Brock stopped answering the phone or returning emails. They vanished for months. Finally I received a call demanding payment. I told them they had done damage and abandoned the work but other than acknowledging some of their mistakes their only response was to file a collection agency report FOR WORK THEY ADMITTED WAS SUBSTANDARD. There's a lot more to this story than just this too, but I don't want this review to go on forever, either. I urge strong caution to anyone considering doing business with this company.T

Living in Northern Ontario, we searched for the best option during our extensive house remodel to…read moreget the best windows out there with consideration of durability and energy efficiency. We have some big/huge windows, and considered wood, vinyl, and fiberglass. We dove deep into the NRCAN ratings of window suppliers, and Fibertec checked off all the boxes (being a Canadian Company was a bonus). The windows all installed well and the house is warm and cozy with no condensation on the inside of these triple paned windows. Overall, these windows were an amazing choice and have held up well. Fibreglass (with glass in the name) expands and contracts at a similar rate to the glass panes themselves, so we do not regret our choice! At about the 13-to 14-year mark, we experienced some failures of the seals within approximately 60% of the windows. The first sign is frost between the panes (in the corners) on the coldest winter days (say -20C or lower). In another year, the low-E coating begins to break down, becoming patchy and noticeable. The initial 15-year warranty paid off, as Fibertech has a solid process in place for honouring their warranty and shipping new panes for replacement. The replacement panes are all built with super spacer technology, which is designed to prevent the problem of failing seals. We have new warranties on the new panes and are only 2 years in with no problems noted.
