All I can do now is LOL at how despicable this company is. I initially called them for a service on…read moreour company's forklift and was quoted a reasonable service fee to come check it out. The tech arrived and diagnosed the issue as a bad starter which would need replacing, again all good up til this point. The tech put some information in his ipad and came back with a quote that I was sure was a mistake, about 650 dollars to install a rebuilt starter, one that I can buy new online for 150 bucks. We needed the forklift so I said the price would be fine as long as it was not any higher and the tech said he would be back the following day. He did come back, and installed the starter and then proceeded to hand me a bill for almost 1000 dollars, 1000 dollars to install a starter. Apparently this company charges for travel time, gas, food, nap time, and any other fees they feel like adding to your bill. I called the company and was able to get the price down, still incredibly high, but something slightly more reasonable. We paid and I informed the company that I would no longer be using their services and we left it at that, or so I thought. This forklift is a spare and we use it only during emergencies, so about once every few weeks, or at least we try to use it but can't because it will not start due to a bad starter...... that's right, a 600 dollar starter that was used a maximum of 10 times won't work. This company is refusing to help as "it's out of warranty". I have never dealt with a more crooked business, and I encourage anyone to avoid this place unless you like throwing your money away.

Recently bought a forklift from this company, for my new business... let me say that they went…read moreabove and beyond for us. Couldn't be happier with their service and professionalism. Keegan our salesman was knowledgeable and patient as we negotiated pricing. Also, Rick Lopez the owner was fantastic to deal with... even made a follow up visit to our store to make sure everything went smooth and we were happy with our purchase. Service like this is hard to find in these days of Covid-19. Again thank you guys!!!

I decided o use this company for the very first time as a friend had referred them. I needed a lift…read morefor one of my jobs and my customer was going to pay for it once we finished the job. When I spoke to Gary C. Over the phone before ordering he told me the lift would be $545.00 so I assumed there would be a little extra after for taxes and etc. I had told my customer it would be about $725 with my markup and he agreed. So I went ahead and payed a deposit for the lift in the amount of $2000.00. After getting the lift and doing the job I get the invoice and I see that I ended up paying $925.00 for this lift for 2hrs mind you. I called and spoke to Gary to find out why it's so high and why didn't he let me know all the amount and add on costs ahead of time. As I did tell him the first time we spoke that my customer was going to pay me back and they needed to know the cost ahead of time to approve the work. When I asked him in the first call what is it going to cost me to rent this lift and he says one number and I get charged another number it's kind of irritating. If I was to tell my customers before I do a job for them that this is the cost of the glass they need installed and at the end of the job I say and now this is the final cost including the installation which was not mentioned before I started the work, then my customers would be furious that I didn't tell them upfront what the total cost would be including installation. This is exactly what my experience was with Sunbelt and Gary. So to my surprise when I called to express my concussion with him not telling me the final cost when we first spoke, he got defensive and tried to belittle me saying when you rent a car it's $20 but after you return it it's like $150. This is not the same circumstance as renting a car. They know what their delivery rates are and taxes are and he should have told me so I could've given my customer the correct amount. Now my customer won't pay the extra amount I ended up paying to Sunbelt and Sunbelt/ Gary won't work with me and now I basically paid my customer for doing work for them. I will never refer this company to anyone nor will I ever use them again. Which is a loss on there part as I am the owner of a construction company who uses rental equipment quite often for jobs and I work with a lot of other contractors who would use their services, but won't be now if I can do anything about it.
