Do not go to this location. Expect a long wait with no responses. Front staff has no clue about how to run a business

My experiences with urgent care facilities has been fair at best. Until now. I went to Total Access on Mexico road on a Monday morning. I was able to make an appt online beforehand. The site claimed this would eliminate having to wait. It was true. I walked in ten minutes before my appt time, and was greeted friendly and professionally. Within one minute of filling out my admittance form, they called me in. My vitals were taken immediately, and I waited no more than 2-3 minutes before the doctor came in. She examined me, and also talked to me about what was going on, my health history, etc. She diagnosed me correctly and ordered a shot and two prescriptions. The shot was given to me within a couple of minutes and then they came in with my prescriptions! Filled on site. No need to call in to a pharmacy and make another trip. I was out in less than 20 minutes, took my meds and was feeling better in just a couple of hours. If that wasn't enough, three days later I received a call from them just checking in to make sure I was feeling better and the mess worked! Total Access was total professional and everyone there was lovely to deal with. I cannot recommend this place high enough - even if you have to drive an extra few miles or so, this place is the best!

I was in and out in a hour. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful.

They were running about 30 mins behind but told me as soon as I called from the parking lot. It was nice that my daughter and I could wait from the comfort of our car. After I got into an exam room (which had a cute panda on the wall for my young daughter) a nice women got us all ready for the nose swab. The employee was very good with my daughter and took things slow. Then we waited 10 minute for the results and were good to go. Besides the wait- the staff were working as fast as they could considering that every exam room was full and there seemed to be a small team of 3 team members. I would return again to get the COVID exam, but keep in mind a wait is likely. But you can comfortably wait in your car at least.

Mind you I'm 29 years old and train as a professional track and field athlete. The dr seemed to completely ignore my complaints of numbness and weakness and focused solely on the fact that I also said I was a bit bloated. Sent me to get an ultrasound of my stomach which came back totally clear. I returned and she still only focused on the slight bloating saying she was confident I was just having a stomach issue. I was given a referral to a gastroenterologist to call in a few days if i didn't feel better and sent in my way. Also was charged $800 bill for absolutely nothing. That night the numbness progressed and I went to a local ER and ended up spending 10 days in the hospital for a large mass in my spinal cord resulting in a not so great diagnosis. Any dr, nurse or other health field worker of any kind should not ignore numbness and weakness down the legs and send a patient on their way saying it's a stomach bug. DO NOT GO HERE.

We have a BeneFLEX card (medical Mastercard issued from my husbands employer). There wasn't anything left on the card because it was the end of the year so I asked if I could be billed and pay it in January. The lady told me sure no problem. She said she had to have a card on file in case I didn't end up paying the copay, so I gave her a debit card. She told me I'd be sent a bill and assured me as long as I paid that bill, my card would not be charged. So here we are... 1/16 and my debit card was charged for the visit. There wasn't enough money in that account to cover it so I ended up with an overdraft fee and overdraft fee for a couple of $5 transaction. When I called they said they could send me a refund check in the mail and then they could charge my BeneFLEX card. They said there is nothing they can do about the fees, I have to go to my bank! What the what??? I explained I hadn't received a bill or anything else from them so I am still unsure why my card was charged, he said the bill wouldn't be sent out until February 3. Ummm.... still unclear why my card was charged when I hadn't even received a bill yet? The medical service wasn't bad but I'll NEVER go there again since they don't seem to care about making things right when they make a mistake. So frustrating.

Once I found where to go, the lady that registered me was very kind and helpful (Shannon, thank you). After i got registered, I waited in the hallway for OVER an hour to complete my urine culture. When I got in the bathroom and opened the container to put my culture in, there were TWO other urine cultures in the container - UNLABELED! How are they supposed to know who's culture belongs to who - if they're not labeling the cultures prior to being completed AND not being on top of collecting the cultures after they're completed?! Very negligent of the staff here, and I hope I don't have to go to this location again for labs.

I don't need and you aren't qualified to give me lip about having questions for the doctor, thank you. But most of all, the doctors are also weird. For almost two years the pharmacy had to call my prescriptions in every month. Because... Doctor Keller just couldn't seem to fill them correctly. And I mean, didn't fill them, put an amount of pills it isn't manufactured in, prescribed them for the wrong month, every month it was some other issue that never should have been. She also ignored my protests at a mole removal and just took it off. Which, was going to get done, but while I'm sitting there saying "I don't want you to do it", you'd think a PHD would get the hint and stop leaning me back and saying it's fine we'll just do it now. I forget the male doctors name, as I haven't seen him, but he was so rude and condescending over the time that my father saw him that he didn't even go to the doctor for a while. My mother has used everyone else in the practice to try to find someone without such a bizarrely dismissive attitude, and she wasn't able. She went in for almost two years trying to find out what was wrong with her stomach, and was misdiagnosed or told she was imagining it by everyone in there. And billing? Always manages to be wildly expensive and out of network. It seems every trip manages to cost me $200 or more. And I have some of the sweetest insurance money can buy. Not sure what has caused this office culture, but there are plenty of doctors in ofallon. You don't need to deal with this one.
