The care team at this facility were terrific. All the tests run... urine, bloodwork CT scans. All done promptly and efficiently. I would definitely come back. I sprained my ankle while visiting St. Louis. Although I was happy with the care I got here, I was given the wrong walking cast for my injury, which made my injury worse. (It had straight-sided, non-adjustable stays, which squeezed my injured ankle.) That was nothing compared to the bill I received. This cast--which is sold at an average price for $65 from various providers--was billed at a stunning $743. I thought there must be a billing mistake, but I just called their billing department and, nope, that's just how they do business. Pricing like this is a straight-up predatory practice. I couldn't walk, I was in a lot of pain, and they took advantage of that. If you need to go here, do not accept any medical devices from them. Shabby treatment by medical provider at this facility. Blonde woman with mask did not identify herself by name or by her particular position, i.e., MD, PA, RN, NP, etc., as she walked into room with assistant. I had scheduled the visit seeking care for cold, bronchial ailment. She was smart alecky, arrogant in her questioning, announcing. "I won't prescribe medicine unless an x-ray shows bacterial infection," without my having requested any medication, insisting on an x-ray without going further in her exam, and becoming confrontative when I questioned the need for an x-ray given my symptoms. After the above and additional aberrant behavior and based on what I felt was a completely unprofessional attitude, I ultimately had no alternative but to dismiss her and seek treatment at another provider who ultimately reviewed my symptoms and condition, and provided thorough testing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. read more

This place has really gone down hill. When the urgent care models launched several years ago, this chain was top notch. Now they are too busy, under staffed and poorly managed. We've been to several locations over the years, but this one has always been the worst. The last time we were there, the PA we got struck me as a weirdo. Just not someone you would listen to, take seriously or trust. More recently we decided to try again and this time walked out after 1.5 hours of waiting. What is the point of scheduling an appointment, seeing the online waitlist with 0 people and then getting no treatment after being put in a room. You might as well goto an ER if you have to wait hours! Further evidence of their service decline, someone used to check on the patient every 15 minutes and give them an update. This time that happened once in 90 minutes. I think the chain has been sold and clearly cost cutting measures are being put in place. Do not come here. read more

Needed my ears flushed, didn't know it would take an hour. I scheduled an appointment online and arrived before opening but it still took a long time to get seen. Once I was in the room, I got serviced pretty quickly, however the check-in and check-out process was timely. It took forever to be seen and a long time to get out afterwards. I can hear clearly now but it took over an hour for a quick ear flush. read more

This place was awful. Wait times were atrocious. I had a fever, chills, body aches, and sore throat and they just wanted to send me on my way with Tylenol. I had to insist on tests and ended up having both flu and strep. I waited 20 minutes just to receive my paperwork to leave. I tried TWICE to pick up my medications from the pharmacy but they said they never received it from urgent care, despite me informing them after the first time that it was unavailable at the pharmacy. We were visiting from another state and our experience from beginning to end was absolutely wonderful. They were thorough, efficient, explained everything in the process and made sure we had a complete diagnosis before leaving. My child was well taken care of and comfortable with the experience. They've had my Covid results for 24 hours. I called and they told me. They won't tell me what the results are. They're supposed to text the results. They have not. I've called repeatedly. No real help. No way to view a chart like you can at SSM. If they ever let me know what the result is, I'll update this review. Oh, and I need a doctor's note or a printed negative test result to return to work, so I don't know what I'm going to do. Go to SSM for testing instead. I've heard good things. read more

The only good thing I can say is I was able to be seen right away, practically no waiting. I went in because of a persistent cough, fever, and tiredness. I had been sick for about five days. They asked only a minimal number of questions and informed me that they could not do anything for me because my fever had not lasted for more than seven days. I was able to get into my doctor's office the next day (I just should have waited the extra day.), where they could not believe that TAUC had not at the very least tested me for RSV. A chest x-ray was ordered by my doctor, and it turns out I had pneumonia. This place is a waste of time and money. I will never return to any Total Access Urgent Care. I guess I now know why there was no waiting. read more

I had the best experience you can expect: - kind reception - quick admittance - prompt visits from nurse and doctor - accurate diagnosis and prescriptions - in and out (including X-ray) within an hour - follow up text asking if all was ok I would definitely go back and recommend to others. read more

I have been to this TAUC twice now, and both times left feeling like the experience was as good as it could be for an urgent situation. The staff is super friendly, attentive, thorough, and answered all of my questions. I also love this location because it is closer to me than the Manchester Rd. Location I went to before. I went to this location to be seen on 1/3/2020 and paid for everything requested at the time of services rendered. A week later I get a bill in the mail stating I owe an additional $200. I called to inquire about the billing issue. I was informed that the staff made a mistake and did not tell me about the $200 balance and automatically just sent the remaining bill to my home with 3 days to pay. I spoke with the director of the location, and while she admitted a mistake was made I should still pay for the mistake. While I agree I should pay for services, I don't agree with how the situation was handled. While I won't be back to your location, I do recommend you modify your bills to show an outstanding balance at the time of payment as YOU said that it is how it appears. It's extremely misleading and I shouldn't be faulted for your mistakes. read more

The doctor didn't listen to me and put down the right cause of my condition, directly causing my insurance refuse to pay for my bill. Now i have to pay $3000 for simple checks. And total access refused to cooperate and appeal the claim for me. If you don't want to pay $3000 for nothing, just don't go there. read more

Absolutely awful. I went in at 10:30 for a rapid covid test. Was placed in a waiting list which was fine since nothing was urgent. I waited till 4:00 pm to get the text to head in over to the facility. Proceeded to wait in my car for another hour. Filled out paperwork and then sat in a waiting room till I just could not wait any longer. DO NOT TAKE YOUR YOUNG CHILD HERE. The doctors, nurses and EMT all lacked knowledge on caring for young children. Because of this my young child was given medication that almost sent us over to the ER. This location also lacks basic medical tools/equipment for young children which caused inaccurate readings. This combined with them not knowing what is "normal" for young children and what should and should NOT be given to young children caused a very scary situation. I could literally hear them googling and debating outside my door. We obviously had a horrible experience. Hoping other caregivers will read this. PARENTS BEWARE! read more

I went in for a covid test and the doctor there said that since I was having shortness of breath and I'm pregnant, they need to send me to the ER because they don't have the equipment they need there to further evaluate me. The "equipment" the ER used to evaluate me was an x-ray. And the shortness of breath was because I'm pregnant and have asthma. They scared a pregnant woman into going to the ER and getting a $1,332 bill because they didn't want to do an x-ray. Either the doctor there was not educated enough to know that hormones in pregnancy cause shortness of breath(learned at the ER) or he just didn't want the liability of taking an x-ray on a pregnant woman. So basically, I have to spend money I don't have because of this doctor's incompetency. Or is it just Total Access policy to do anything you can to limit your liability? read more
