If I could give this business a zero star review I would! I needed work badges stitched on to three shirts, I provided a piece of paper that specifically have exact detentions on where they needed placed. she missed the mark by almost 2 inches! On top of that they weren't even straight!? When my husband brought them back for me due to me working she took the badge off to "replace it" to the right spot, which caused major damage to the shirt on top of it still being crooked. I have to buy three brand new shirts due to her negligence. she refused any refund what I paid for her horrendous work NOR for the new shirts I now have to buy! save your money and time just go somewhere else read more

I brought in a pair of expensive trouser jeans to be hemmed and what I received was something I could have done. I expected a professional, clean-finished hem. She's unprofessional, rude, and does not meet scheduled deadlines. And when called on any of these inadaquicies, she gets defensive and asks you to leave. Case in point: I left a pair of slacks that needed hemming. I gave her plenty of time(2 weeks), but also said they absolutely needed to be ready on the promised day. She assured me they would, and even said they'd be ready early. I recommended she call me if they were done early so I could try them on. However, I didn't hear from her, so I suspected she needed the whole 2 weeks. When I arrived on the promised day, she had no idea who I was, had to rummage through her rack to find my slacks, and said, "Sorry, they're not done." That was it, no explanation. I told her I was very clear about needing them for a special event(occurring the next day) and now had nothing to wear for it. She shrugged and when I asked her what kind of a professional she was, she got defensive and asked me to leave. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! read more

Not only is Toshi the finest tailor in Colorado Springs her son Nicholas, is a fantastic tailor as well. They are adept with any type of fabric or leather, and were the ONLY place in town who could alter the cuffs on my leather jacket. And mention you like parrots and bulldogs. Called around to several places to get shirts tailored. Toshi's had the cheapest prices at $9 a shirt. Took shirts and a suit here and they came out great. They have tailored ten shirts for me so far. I took a few other shirts to other places that were slightly more expensive to see if there was a difference in quality. Toshi's shirts came out the best. The worst! How is she even in business? I did not know what to do and left without asking for my money back! I just wanted to pay her and go in the parking lot and cry over what she did to my clothes! Toshi's work is less skilled than you would expect from a tailor. She ruined my gown, and another tailor was horrified by her work. The first time I went in there, they had an unpaid intern working on clothes in the back. How unprofessional. People should be warned. Simple jobs may come out ok, but jobs that require any sort of skill should NOT be taken here. I really can't stress how absolutely crushed I am that my once-amazing bridesmaid dress for my only sister's wedding will never look like it was intended. And the repairs on the tailoring required is now costing me more than twice what the original tailor cost is. Like playing Russian Roulette: one day they may be nice and do an average job another they will be unprofessional, fail to have the job finished on time, won't know where your garments are, will be rude and will blame you for their shortcomings. My daughter and I brought in a dress on a Tues that needed to be finished that coming Thurs. When we got there on Thurs, Toshi did not have it ready and didn't know where the dress was. I assured her that it was OK and that if it wasn't ready yet we would pick it up the next day but she insisted that we wait for her to do it then. Her work was sloppy but insisted that nothing else could be done to it. My daughter decided she could wear the dress that way and we paid for it and left. The next Thurs I brought in another dress and explained our particular situation and she agreed to having it ready by noon the next day but then complained bitterly for 15 minutes about being overworked and underpaid, "My son tells me that my customers take advantage of me and that I need to raise my prices because I am charging 'shit' right now." I responded that we would be back tomorrow to pick up the dress. The next day I called her to let her know that we were running about 10 minutes late and asked her kindly to wait for us. "You people are a headache, I want to go home now!" I assured her that we would be there as soon as possible. She hung up the phone on me. About 5 minutes later she called, "When are you going to get here?!" When we got there she was already locking the door, my daughter took the dress quickly and handed her a $20 bill. I walked up to thank her and she said, "I am an 85 year old Japanese woman and you are treating me like a slave! You come in and demand that I have a dress ready for you that same day, you have treated me very bad..." I told her that I wish she would've been honest and not accepted the job so that I could have taken the dress to another shop, then let her know that I would look for another tailor. She stormed inside the store and came out with the $20 bill and threw it at me. This business is seriously lacking in many different areas. Unless you want to take your chances on receiving average to poor services, unprofessionalism, unpredictability, and a possible melt down with no accountability, I would NOT bring my service to this shop. read more

Terrible terrible work and service!! Very nice lady, promised me eight days I came back in nine days and had to wait seven more additional days because my order did not matter!! Then every piece was done incorrectly! jacket sleeves were destroyed!!, and two pairs of work pants were returned with no work done to them that was supposed to be done yet I was charged! I asked for all of my seems to be reinforced in my pants and they were not touched! Dear Lord please don't take your wedding dress or any military uniforms here if they are important! This business is unprofessional & doesn't know how to sew properly. I brought in a cross stitch I did for a ring bearers pillow & needed it to be sewn into a pillow. They messed up on the size & made it too big. I asked them to redo it to correct size. They said they'd have to charge me double. I said I need it done. When I came back they altered they size but they had different dimensions sewn in the corners so it looks lopsided. Then the back had an open hole where they stuffed in the stuffing & a handle made out of Aida cloth. I had specifically asked for a handle made out of the silk I brought. I said the hole needs to be sewn shut & correct material used. He said it's the back of the pillow so no one will see. I said it's for a wedding so it needs to be all done, you wouldn't do that to the back of a wedding dress. He said he does it all the time, it doesn't matter what the back looks like. When he wanted me to pay double because of their mistake & I said I'd pay the original cost because of their mistakes, he ripped the bag out of my hands & said I wasn't taking it till I paid. I paid him half more because that's all I had & he said take it. read more
