I've helped on a few jobs in my younger days and I know what a good job looks like, and this was perfect. I think when a company knows its stuff, they can work efficiently and quickly. I've hired other companies with a bigger crew and they took 3 to 4 days. They also added extra metal vents One other thing. They made sure the neighbours were not inconvenienced. That was important because our houses are close together. I have no problem at all recommending them to anybody. Thanks so much

We started our house renovation and it later came up that the roofing had to be done as well. So I…read morestarted to look for a roofing company. It was May and of course most of people were telling me that the earliest availability even for the estimate was in July. So we were looking at the end of August the earliest to have it done. That was until I came across CoverAll Roofing. They are located pretty close to our home and were so responsive and nice to deal with that I had no doubt we would be going with them. Having read all the reviews here and on google (all 10/10) only reinforced my confidence. I think we got a pretty decent price from these guys, considering the quality of the material and the job that was done. They also changed some ply wood and did not charge much for this additional work. Everything was done as agreed, on schedule and within one day! I had made a mistake with colour selection but guys were nice enough to change the material after it was delivered. In other words, we are extremely happy about everything - quality of work, material and service, which also matters a lot these days. George and Mark are great guys and I strongly recommend them as the best roofing company around. Thank you guys!

They were the only one that didn't upsell into more than what was needed. They arrive on time and have worked together for years. They are polite and keep the jobsite clean. Used this company to shingle my roof. Everyone, from Sean…read more our sales rep., to the installers, to the site manager...all were fantastic to deal with. The site manager arrived at around 6:15am....explained the days process, asked if I had any concerns, then began the prep process. Fortunately, Sean had called the day before and requested the driveway be clear of vehicles and that any planters, etc. be moved away from the house....so they're pretty good at communicating things along the way. The installers arrived at around 7:00am and commenced stripping the old shingles. Everything was done by 4:00pm...and the clean-up was fantastic. The company does a magnetic clean-up, to catch any errant nails and then cleaned so thoroughly that hardly a trace of them being here was found. The site manager walked around my house and asked if I wanted to inspect the clean up myself. Even when Sean arrived to pick up the payment, he reminded me to be careful with my pets (dogs) after the first rainfall as some nails may have been missed. Excellent personal touch. While they weren't the cheapest quote I got, I felt comfortable dealing with Sean and the timeline presented seemed reasonable. He was knowledgable about the product I wanted and was patient when I pushed back the installation date to accommodate a last minute trip. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Garage Build--Reliable, Professional, Detailed and Efficient…read more I had a great experience working with Grand Building and Contracting Ltd. I hired them to remove and construct a new garage. Adam and his team understood the entire scope of the work. I was provided with a detailed schedule, timelines, and estimate before commencing the project. There was an issue with a city tree on my neighbour's property that had to be dealt with. Other contractors vanished at this point in the project. Adam guided me on what steps I had to take and the necessary paperwork I needed to file with the city over the course of seven months. When the project was finally approved, the trades workers were on time, highly skilled, professional and efficient. Adam was there at the beginning and end of every part of the construction. I greatly appreciated the regular communications I received. He even made sure my neighbours were satisfied with how the construction was effecting them. I can't say enough positive things about Grand Building and Contracting Ltd. I will use them again for my next project. I highly recommend that anyone give them an opportunity; you will not be disappointed.

I called him on recommendation from the previous home owners, and he was very prompt in getting back to me. He had a great memory for the house and current state of the roof (which he hadn't done the original work on). He was happy for me to come up onto the roof with him, and thoroughly walked me through what was going on up there. He found the source of the leak confidently and efficiently, and was very honest about all the options, ranging from a short-term to semi-permanent solution, and the pros and cons of each. I felt he genuinely wanted to do the job right, and in as affordable way as possible for me. Since he fixed that area, I've had no further issues with water leakage in that spot. He was very upfront though that I had other potential problem areas on my roof, however, and sure enough a couple months later a leak in another area developed. This time the weather was a bit better so we went ahead with some additional proactive repairs as well as the source of the current problem. Again he talked me through options, and I felt he was upfront, honest and had good integrity. I hope to not need Frank again in the near future, but I certainly would call him again if I do!
