Jamie decided on the MX$75 Torta Vegetariana, a meatless option with mushrooms, queso blanco, shredded lettuce, and avocado in a Talera bread roll (Photo 9). He was pleased with his choice and particularly impressed with the soft airiness of the toasted bread. As for me, I relied on Google AI to help me winnow down my selection to the MX$95 Torta Poblano. I understood the popularity because it contained chicken Milanesa (breaded chicken), melted queso fundido, chile poblano, lettuce, tomato, onion, mustard, and cream. It was all encased in the same Talera bread roll and genuinely satisfying (Photo 7). We were lucky to find an open bench outside the terminal and devoured the tortas in no time.
