Guess you have to catch these people on the right day…read more A little background, I sold 7.5 grams of gold ($3,300 spot price at the time) for $725. Not a bad rate on that so I came back with 10 grams a couple months later (again, $3,300 spot price), and the guy offers me $690 for it. $690 for 10 grams of gold is over 35% below today's spot price. That's not just a lowball offer; it borders on predatory, especially from a professional jeweler who should know better. And their response: "We regret that our offer did not align with your expectations. Our pricing is based on market and what we are willing to buy items for, and if you opt not to sell the item to us, you are free to sell it independently to any other interested party." For a business that advertises themselves as giving the best prices for gold, that seems dishonest. If I'd have known I was going to get lowballed, I wouldn't have wasted my time. Just be honest and say, "We're going to give you 35% below today's spot price." How you conduct business is important. How you treat people is important. Being crooks -- in time this business is going to pay for that. That is, if it hasn't already.

I scoured the internet, and popped into a few local jewelry stores. All I found was mass produced inferior pieces. Luckily for me I visited this exceptional jewelry store! As soon as I entered I knew this business was for me! The jewelry inside their lovely cases all sparkled and were breathtaking! The owner went out of his way to help me select just what I wanted, without any pressure or condescending attitude. He is a wonderful man and I had the pleasure of meeting his Mom who was also a very kind and gracious lady! I was completely bowled over by the stunning jewelry here, and even more so by the stellar service I received. I chose the ring and the owner sized it and was ready the next day! It may seem easier to purchase jewelry online, but I feel that jewelry is a very personal thing. I appreciate the personal experience I encountered here!! It's so important to buy locally to support such wonderful businesses such as this! This business is one of a kind!
