By 2020 they had closed stores and entered bankruptcy but in 2021 they launched a comeback and were able to reopen some of the closed stores as well as launch a new concept for teens called Franki's. They are currently operating more than 400 stores throughout the United States. I had previously visited the Francesca's in the Promenade in Coconut Creek. This store is in Sawgrass Mills Mall in Sunrise. I was pleasantly greeted when I entered and left to explore. They had a sale going on of buy one get one 70 percent off. They also have a clearance section. The clothes are trendy and seasonally appropriate. For instance they had flag tops for the Fourth of July. Clothes are in denim, pastels, neutrals, and white with floral, denim, ruffles, and lace details and arranged in the store by color and style. The clothes are more appropriate for teens and young adults who like very soft and feminine styles but I liked their inexpensive collection of costume jewelry. They also have a lot of cute gift items including things for birthdays, brides to be, and dog lovers. Based on the amount of people shopping in the store, their comeback has been successful.
