We were able to work closely with both the office staff and the crew throughout the project, and they were always willing to answer our questions and make sure our preferences were addressed. It's clear that the entire company takes great pride in what they do, and that pride definitely shows in the quality of their work and their communication with customers. We truly appreciate all of their hard work and would highly recommend Stones Landscaping Inc. to anyone looking to transform their outdoor space!

We recently completed a large-scale backyard renovation with Stones Landscaping, and are quite…read morepleased with the results. This involved pouring over 1,500 sq. ft. of concrete, a large retaining wall, a patio deck, a new lawn, and a playground area. Here were some of the highlights of my experience: - Design Guidance: I relied heavily on Baltazar's experience and keen sense of design. His elegant hardscaping solution for the pool transition zones exceeded my expectations and tied the yard together perfectly. - The grading and drainage were very well done. Despite heavy rains, there was zero pooling; the rain gutters were routed directly into pipes beneath the concrete for a clean, streamlined look. - Smart Home Integration: All landscape lighting and irrigation were hooked up to smart-home enabled controllers for total automation and convenience. - The office staff was very responsive, addressing any concerns or follow-up questions usually within a single business day. Props to Gladys and Dahlia! Highly recommended!

An overdue review for the backyard project Almaden Valley Landscape worked on for us last year…read more From the start James had been very responsive to email and Ken working on our quote. We must have went back and forth 7-8 times before finalizing the design. One tip is that Ken will work around your budget so make sure you let him know your budget. We live in a new development home with an unfinished backyard with just dirt. We had a lot of weed growing out which they got rid of in a day's work. Ken is such an experienced landscape designer, he worked with us on designing our pavers, seating wall curvature, sprinklers system, lighting, built-in BBQ and all the types of plants. I showed him pictures from Pinterest of the double sided fireplace we liked and he was able to recreate it in our backyard. That fireplace is a center piece and we can't get enough good comments about it from our guests. This was a 6 week project and there was some on and off days, they did not come everyday working on it as they had multiple projects at the same time. Ultimately it got done in a 8 week time frame. Ken was not hesitant to come back and fix our sprinklers when there were issues. I highly recommend James, Ken, Dominic and their team to work on your landscape. From design to hands on work, they will bring your vision to life. Ken is very honest and he will give you a fair bid on your job.

During the onsite evaluation, Ken measured the area and explained how they would demolish the existing cracked concrete, design the slope, complete the paving, and fill the area. They also sent me pictures of the pavers and edge materials they would use to seal the border. The entire project was completed within three weeks, and Ken and his team took care of every detail. In addition, we hired them to remove old tree roots and repair the fence. All work was done with high quality. Our family has enjoyed the backyard a lot over the past few months. Big thanks to the whole team.

I have worked with Darrick for a few years. While the service he initially implemented was good and…read moremet general expectations, I feel a lot of confusion and frustration regarding his communication style. This is not a one-time issue; throughout our interaction over the past few years, there has been a recurring pattern of him agreeing to a specific day or time to come by and then simply not showing up. This has happened quite a few times, with the most recent experience being the final straw. I first reached out in September 2025 regarding a sprinkler issue. After a no-show then, I followed up again in March 2026. Once again, he confirmed a timeframe to swing by, but never arrived and provided no follow-up to explain why. I have attached two snips of our message history here for reference. I have always tried to be patient, flexible, and polite, even offering additional fees to ensure his time was covered. If a professional finds a request unreasonable or is too busy, it is much better to simply say so. Instead, being 'ghosted' repeatedly makes it very difficult to plan or maintain a property. While I appreciate the work he has done in the past, the lack of reliability makes it hard to continue with his services.

I signed a landscaping contract with Darrick in March 2025. He forgot the design details we had…read morediscussed. I thought his organization and project management were very poor. He piled up all the excavated dirt close to my fence and drive way for a long time, and he still left some dirt and trash after he finished construction. For the first six months, I thought the landscape was great, irrigation worked. But, after 6 months, one of the valves was broken. He came to fix it because he provided 1 year warranty. I asked him about large cracks between the pavers, he never replied that. This month, I found another valve was leaking. I texted him, but he didn't reply, so I checked contract again. I think he can at least let me know about the warranty policy, even if it couldn't fixed for free. I would not recommend his company to my friends.

I then decided to add lights, a new fence, a new gate, and a new back porch! All of which they were able to easily accommodate! There was no pressure to add any of this work, it was all my request. Their work is fantastic and flawless, I literally didn't have one issue at all through the whole process. They worked all day everyday, and Eriberto was on site every day to check in. Every single company or agency I called was dumbstruck, and were either too scared to touch the job or required payment just to come out for an estimate. Not Green Earth. Updated review! See below!…read more Im going two stars because their work seems to be very nice (from the photos I can see on their site). The problem is getting them to contact you back. I have called, listened to the message about them being busy and to send a text. So I sent a text, no response. I emailed from their contact page on the website, no response. Hey if your business is doing so well that you can't return a call, text or email I guess more power to you. One would think in this day and age of highly competitive small businesses, that each opportunity would be viewed with a higher regard. Keep searching. Updated review! Since my review, we received a call back from Clint and he promptly scheduled a time to meet with us. This was our third meeting with concrete contractors. Clint was helpful and certainly more knowledgeable than the other two companies we met with. He provided a proposal within 24 hours, which was great as we had to wait several days from the other companies. After reviewing the proposals and Yelp, we decided to give CLC our business. To our surprise within a couple days, Clint had an opening for demo. Once the demo was completed the new concrete pour was schedule for a few days later. Great thing about Clint was that he took the time to explain the process to us. For the most part things went according to plan. Like with any construction project, you will have hiccups or issues. The key is how those issues are addressed and how fast they are resolved. We did have a few issues and Clint was quick to provide a resolution. There were some moments during the coloring process where we got a bit nervous as the color didn't appear to be what we selected. Clint kept reminding to trust him and the process. We did and our driveway came out absolutely amazing 10 out of 10. Couldn't be happier. Given the size of our porch and the elevation code, we had to use a different material. Which again, made us a bit nervous. Clint did a great jon of matching the color and texture. There were a few questionable spots, but it's important to remember that we are working with concrete and stone. Nothing will ever be perfect. Porch grade is a 8 out of 10. Given Clint's effort, attention to detail and his desire to ensure his clients are happy, he definitely earned this 5 star review. If you are looking for high quality concrete work at a reasonable price, make sure you contact CLC! Thanks Clint

In the planning phase Octavio took the time to fully understand what we want, and proposed very artistic snd innovative solutions to get us what we want (he proposed a very nice curving of a sitting area concrete to hide a fence angle and it worked great and looked amazing). He made sure everything is well documented before starting the work, and gave us enough time to evaluate the plan, and accommodated all our requests. We never felt rushed and he was very patient in explaining all the details and all whats required. During execution he was there continuously, evaluating the progress and open to any feedback we have. When something was not clear to us he took the time to explain it well. When we needed samples to evaluate a color or a material he provided it promptly. And his execution was flawless. He was there working with the crew and ensuring that things were up to plan. The execution wad very thorough and the crew wad very meticulously working through all details (all stones places with measurement and everything was set level and the stepping paths were all checked for level with respect to each other; the concrete curving was done using a string to draw a proper circle and the frame was made matching to ground ... etc). They really rook their time to execute properly and did not rush or overlook any detail. And they accommodated all our requests. It was work of art. Once the job was done they left us the remaining materials to use/store as needed and they did a great job cleaning and making sure things looked nice. I am really happy with their work.
