For Lawns Unlimited Mechanicsburg PA. Huge Disappointment and a total rip off! Visited my property,…read morevery nice and suggested additional work than what I was looking for, sent me written quote which I accepted. Upon arrival to do the work they started and after about an hour they asked for more money, said they miss quoted the work. They have been in business for a long time so that was odd. They later said to forget the extra couple of hundred. However, completed work was sloppy and now we can visibly see that they cut corners. The agreed upon plan was not done correctly, I have tons of thistle in the bed they did, mulch was not covering many areas and they did not use premium soil to reseed. I can only assume they cut corners because in their mind they were not getting paid what they wanted. Now I have a huge mess to deal with.

But more critical- they are doing a large job in my neighborhood and have failed to pull required permits. This means no inspections to protect our safety or our investment. Not meant to bash the work ethic or quality... but there are real concerns for our community. Also because they have no place to store equipment theyve created an eyesore in our neighborhood. If they get behind, they will even work the weekend to fulfill the expectations of their customers. I took a picture of a plant I wanted them to look at replacing and THEY noticed the mulch they put down discolored too quickly and THEY came out and re-mulched on their own. When I asked what they were doing, they said that THEY weren't happy with what happened and were fixing it! I didn't think it was that bad. But they have their own high standards!!!!!! Reasonably priced, excellent quality, great work ethic, and always looking to please the customer. I don't usually rate businesses this high, but Haring lawn care and landscaping is one of the better customer-focused businesses I have ever used.
